Plenty of Baseball fields, but not enough Restrooms

This is an amazing facility that has everything from basketball, to a field to play football. They even have tennis courts which is pretty cool

Outfields are getting a little choppy. Still very good infield though. One of the better ball field around.

3000 acres of outdoors goodness. Soccer fields, baseball fields a model airplane Park, golf courses, hiking nature trails, LA river to kayak and fish from. Cherry trees at Lake Balboa, great kids jungle gyms and the shining crown of glory? The authentic Japanese gardens at the Tillman water reclaimation plant, open to the public on Sundays.

cant to watch a game,, when most of the time the parents are out of control, in this case it was the referees. beyond anything i could describe, but wouldnt come back to this beautiful park to watch a game ever. what aashame

Good park to play soccer croquet go Birdy and more not many restaurants at this location there's also tennis ball courts have a good weekend by Ryan Lewis

Big open fields, basketball courts, tennis courts and a playground.

Good place for the kids to play, but needs improvement to the benches and parking areas. It needs to be remodeled. The benches and facilities look old and outdated.

I live just a short 7 minute walk from the SportsCenter and Balboa Park is always been the place to go to know that the expanded the baseball fields and soccer fields jogging around the bike path and going all the way up to the Sepulveda Basin is always on nice place to be especially when they're filming in that area

Great park for kids. There's an enclosed play area with two sets of equipment. It's well maintained and mostly clean. The clientele is usally very nice as well.

The softball fields aren't great. Hard dirt and uneven grass.

It's a big Park, but the lights go out around 10 pm on weekdays.

Cool place for tennis, but I feel weird having to play at a public park.

It is a beautiful park where you can share with your partner, family and friends ... They have a lot of recreational areas Food stalls that you can try like the typical pupusas or different types of soups and the most important and most striking feature is the artificial grass bed and lighting so you can play day or night

Tennis courts are free sometimes but worth it to pay for peak hours

The fields are one of the nicest around and one of the most taken care of

Bathrooms are always dirty and are neverr actually working.

I like this place. It's have very friendly people and even have a trail you can walk on. I like that this sports center has soccer basketball and much more.

Nice gym! Got it rented out for our pickup games, has lots of space on the sidelines and baselines so injuries are avoided on that aspect. Gym is kept up and is not slippery on the floor either, thats a must for a good rating on my end.

Bike paths, walking paths, lots of trees, lots of shade for picnics, great kids play area

Great sports complex with tennis courts, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, softball fields and plenty of open space.

Was not at the Balboa Sports Center but at ESO which is Encino-
Sherman Oaks girl softball

Great park. It is very big. You can play basketball or tennis there. There are open areas for kids to run and enjoy. There is also an area for little kids with a safety gate where the playground and sand can be used for fun.

RESTROOMS ARE FILTHY WITH NO PAPER IN ANY OF THE RESTROOMS

I sincerely apologize to the good people at Balboa Rec Center for the errant rating. I meant to give it 5 stars! This is one of the best places in the county to have your child participate in sports of all kinds year round. I had my child here since she was 9 years old and now she's in college. Chris Paul, enrolled his child in the basketball program here while he was with the Clippers. Very very affordable. Your kids will enjoy the experience. Mine did.

Anytime I want to get a good workout in I come here. Usually not too crowded and everything I need to workout in one area.
