0/10 0 stars very unprofessional staff checkin process. The asian lady at reception on Saturday Jan 12th 2019 at around 3pm was very rude, unprofessional with zero customer service skills. We waited patiently at the locked door for 5 minutes while she saw us and just ignored us. After looking in through the front door for 5 mins she gave us a very evil death stare and continued to talk on the phone. She eventually let us in we sat on the longue she continued to talk on the phone and ignored us. We were waiting on the loungue to checkin. A couple just walked in and checked in in front of us. She didnt even check us in first totally ignored us. Worst customer service experince ever. It was like a fawlty towers episode with basil fawlty but it was a women this time.

I'm glad we have a BP conveniently situated here. My issue is, with all the money the company makes, the appearance of this place leaves much to be desired. It looks old and clearly has not been refurbished in ages.

Surprising to see some really appalling reviews, perhaps those are some unfortunate circumstances. Nevertheless, they do offer a clean room and parking space your car. Any cheaper and you would end up in those backpackers' lodge. They had a clear warning sign prohibiting guests from smoking in the room. Not a big issue, just step outside if you need to smoke. Do not expect five star room service, and you will be fine.

Really good price for the night, the reception was super duper friendly. We didn't try the restaurant but perhaps next time! Great rooms, well kept. Great view from our second story balcony.

In view of the very low price we didn't have high expectations and were surprised to find a very modern, clean and functional room including microwave, toaster, etc. There is also a small desk and chair which together with the reliable free Wifi allowed me to comfortable get some work done.
Free parking. The yellow cat bus stop is just around the corner and it's only 4 or 5 stops to the city.
The only negative point i can think of is that some rooms are directly facing the main street and could be a bit annoying for someone who is sensitive to street noise.

I am disappointed to read some of the other reviews. Bailey's staff have always been helpful and the restaurant meals of a great standard. Rooms are OK. The cost of hotels in Perth is high and Bailey's is one of the cheapest so you shouldn't be expecting 5 star.

Overall, it was a good stay, unfortunately they don't do services daily. Location was convenient with public transport. The receptionist, Edwina was really friendly and helpful. She knows what to recommend and isn't biased with her suggestions.

Suited our needs perfectly. We were after a place to stay just for a night that wasn't overly pricey and this place was ideal. Really like the secure parking and the convenient location. Would definitely stay here again if I was needing budget accommodation for a night or two.

I would not recommend this joke of a joint to anyone!
My father had just been diagnosed with cancer and was staying at the hotel because of its proximity to the hospital.
Once he had finished scans, he was going to stay at home because it offered a lot more comfort.
Upon attempting to cancel his room, approximately 36 hours notice, he was informed that he would not get a refund for that nights booking, as it was not the required 48 hours notice.
My wife spoke to these cretins, and they said because the room could of been booked, they were losing money, because they were turning away people to stay.
My wife, upon hearing this, challenged that they would of already rebooked the room and that they would of been getting twice the nights rent for one remnant.
.......the tosser on the other end of line went quiet.
This is a shocking display of customer service and compassion.
The more people that boycott this establishment the better humanity will be!!!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed after a late flight and if werent so tired wouldnt have stayed. The bedspread and blanket were dirty, sweat stained and full of hairs. I had to strip it and sleep with the just the sheet on. My partner slept in the car. The service was not that friendly. We didnt hang around the next morning for breakfast.

We recently stayed at Baileys and although it is basic it is clean and ideally situated, but we had reason to book again and then had to cancel booking no fault of our own and they refused to refund. We were not happy and warn other people on their policy of no refund!

We were at Bistro Bella Vista. Had Thursday Rib Eye steak special. Perfectly cooked to M-R accompanied by creamy mushroom sauce, coleslaw and chips. Superb as usual and at specials of the day rate less than $30 ... couldn't ask for more.

Both me and my extended family have stayed here for years BUT not ever again. They now rent out the secured car parking privately so secured parking is not guaranteed and according to management it is stated on their website but I could not find it and staff could not show me where at the time of my stay. Management said it now runs on and I quote "first in, best dressed police". We had a couple of other little things go wrong (like no running water) and when we approached staff (reception) we where met with rude and passive aggressive responses, eye rolling and load verbal sighing. Most disappointing to be treated with such disrespect, with a little empathy and politeness from staff and my rating would be very different.

A hotel / motel that punches well above its price tag. Glamorous or luxurious - no. But this is a clean, tidy and well thought out accommodation which suits me perfectly as a single business traveler. Items such as a proper fridge in the rooms, power outlets in convenient locations, a well located desk.

Close to food outlets and has a great Italian restaurant adjacent and in a quiet part of East Perth.....apart from the occasional sirens of emergency vehicles heading to the nearby Perth hospital.

After staying at so many hotels and apartments in East Perth, this Motel suits me best.

Horrible room that smelled of damp and stale smoke. A lot of dodgy people hanging around. We spent 10 minutes in the room making arrangements to go elsewhere. No refund. Were told that there has to be a day notice for a refund but would not refund for the second day when we said why we were leaving. Would not recommend this old and rundown place. We were told that there is a $200 fine if we smoked in the room. We are non smokers and our room reeked of cigarette smoke.
