This place has a great atmosphere and wonderful buildings surrounding itself. Very well maintained buildings and structures all around the university. I love the main building with the clock and its location. Very peaceful campus area where people can go for a walk even though not enrolled there. ***************************************

It is one of the most beautiful campuses in U.S. for sure. The architecture is magnificent. A must see spot if you are traveling around. Highly recommended, Gothic architecture and postcard surroundings. Likewise, visiting the museum of the princeton university, is a must. There are places to eat a snack, such as Panera, a place visited by tourists and locals, students, etc. And it is in front of the University.

I had the chance to visit Princeton University, in a beautiful city named after him. An impressive place for its magnificent architecture, prestigious by the passage of the prominent figures to the image Albert Einstein as well as other scientific and political personalities.
However, for a full visit, it will be necessary to afford a lot of time, but it's really worth it ...!

Only been here as a tourist - and at the same time quite impressed by the campus. Walked across campus here for a good 90 minutes on the way to Philadelphia. It is very impressive. I find a stop here absolutely worthwhile.

You can park around the campus with parking meters for $ 1 an hour.

We visited when school was out so the place was quiet and most of the people walking around were tourists, just like us. The campus buildings and grounds are magnificent and well-maintained. The place reminded me of Oxford University in England, with its fairly tale-like atmosphere and architecture.

We spent an entire afternoon here. We found parking on LOT 8 in front of the University Store (free during our visit) and then proceeded to the store for restrooms and souvenirs. We then started our self-guided walking tour. The highlights for me include the Princeton Art Museum (free admission), East Pyne Hall with its beautiful courtyard, the sculpted garden at Prospect House, and the Fountain of Freedom. Definitely check them out if you re visiting.

Lifetime experience to be here with my husband. He has obtained his Ph.D. from the University almost 40 years ago. He has never been here after that. It was our first time here together. It made us emotional.... down to memory lane kind of thing. Just loved it.

Such a beautiful campus. This is a campus that one would love to study, not only for its academic reasons but just being in the atmosphere surrounding the campus. Great old buildings and greenery.

Great University, but not as good as the superior Rutgers. Heh heh good old Google maps: where I can blabber about anything. Princeton is perfectly fine. Go to Princeton if you can get in. It is highly selective.

One of the most beautiful universities I have ever seen. Splendid architecture and very huge!Princeton University is a private institution that was founded in 1746. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 5,400, its setting is suburban, and the campus size is 600 acres. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar. Princeton University's ranking in the 2018 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities. Princeton, among the oldest colleges in the U.S., is located in the quiet town of Princeton, New Jersey. Within the walls of its historic ivy-covered campus, Princeton offers a number of events, activities and organizations. The Princeton Tigers, members of the Ivy League, are well known for their consistently strong men's and women's lacrosse teams. Students live in one of six residential colleges that provide a residential community as well as dining services but have the option to join one of more than 10 eating clubs for their junior and senior years.

Awesome. The atmosphere, the history and the architecture made me speechless. May be the best university campus in the US. Walking between buildings, breathing the fresh air of Princeton city was one of the best memories I have ever had. Of course I am writing this review as a tourist.

Well, I finished my BA at another place so decided to come and see what all the fuss was about in one of the most prestigious universities. Don't know about studying here but it sure is the most beautiful academic campus I've been to. A beautiful place just to walk around and peek into some of the bldngs.

Phenomenal school in a beautiful town filled with bright young students. It's surrounded by parks, verdant rural suburbs, and early American history.

Princeton University is a prestigious school in the American Ivy League boasting a vast campus. From New York it takes about an hour and a half with NJ Transit so if you apply in advance to the Campus Orange Key Tour, you can fully enjoy the campus from half a day to one day. From New York Penn Station 34th Street go to Princeton Junction by NJ Transit, from there you can transfer to the Princeton station by changing to a small train that is familiar to students under the name Dinky. From old-fashioned buildings to modern buildings designed by Frank Gehry et al., You can really enjoy various things. You can also watch the collection at the museum, or have lunch with students at the Frist Campus Center. Hamburgers that can be ordered at the grill corner of Food Campus Center food court are recommended. From a noisy city, it is a calm and clean campus where you can go for a short distance. Outside people and tourists often visit because they can freely go in and out. If you have time to spend free on 1st, why do not you drop in at Princeton University?

Architecture is lovely. Their art museum has one of the most interesting and diverse collections for a museum of its size (including some Chinese terra cotta miniature figures which I believe they are the only ones in the country to have examples of) and a nice collection of antiquities (it helps to have an archeology program).

We spent about 3 hours roaming around the campus. All those gothic buildings, green lawns and church towers look like Great Britain in the middle of New Jersey. Albert Einstein s house and Theological seminary are unexpected gems suddenly discovered. Must see place for sure!

all these swooning teenagers, please keep it down. your panting is gross- you shouldn't write a review for somewhere you havn't been. this isnt a forum for reviews of your wet dream, but rather for an actual existing university with its fair share of problems.

going to princeton sucks in a lot of ways. the town is very small, isolated and it's residents are boring, homogenous, provincial, and small minded. the upperclass snobbery is pervasive. class values are law. it is extremely safe here yet you will be treated with suspicion if you are not fitting normalized rigid codes. the food here is expensive and god awful- insanely unhealthy bourgeois 'fancy' poorly prepared and doused in butter or overpriced college junk food. if you're coming from a city or any other kind of background than what permeates everything here, you may find it extremely creepy. I do.

much of the faculty, largely traveling from NY, is incredible! progressive thinkers and people who will change your life- but they are absent in the day to day, leaving you in this bizarro video game version of reality most of the time.

if you can laugh through it and find solidarity in select classmates, you'll be fine.

A beautifully maintained university in the middle of the New Jersey plain. Good transit options from New York with the NJ Transit train (shuttle). About 80-100km to Newark Airport. University buildings remind me of those Cambridge/Oxford campuses in the UK. A lot of lush greenery and walking areas, which are both not unusual for an Ivy League. However, I wouldn't call this a place for engineers or tech students. In every degree, there is a prior emphasis on Literature/Arts, and these have to be completed as requirements. Be prepared for an 80-page Senior Thesis at the end!
