We visited when school was out so the place was quiet and most of the people walking around were tourists, just like us. The campus buildings and grounds are magnificent and well-maintained. The place reminded me of Oxford University in England, with its fairly tale-like atmosphere and architecture.

We spent an entire afternoon here. We found parking on LOT 8 in front of the University Store (free during our visit) and then proceeded to the store for restrooms and souvenirs. We then started our self-guided walking tour. The highlights for me include the Princeton Art Museum (free admission), East Pyne Hall with its beautiful courtyard, the sculpted garden at Prospect House, and the Fountain of Freedom. Definitely check them out if you re visiting.
