Charming, small performing place. The stage is quite close to the audience and it has a really intimate feel.

The entrance is next to Lindt chocolate cafe.

There are no bars selling food or drinks. People spill out to the food shops nearby.

There is also no permanent box office - there is a desk set up before each performance to buy tickets etc.

Wonderful venue, but very hard to find. You must walk along the path right next to the building and then, half way along, there among the cafes is the foyer. Phew. Better signage would help.

Went to see a children show today ages 1-5. Show was great! Not the best venue for it as you are not allowed to stand in the aisles along the side and children have to stay seated. A Staff member was extremely rude and was not informed properly thus not communicating where the proper standing area was to us and 2 other groups. We complained when we left the show early and they escorted us back in to show. the standing area was out the back at the top. Not the best place again for a children's venue. Was also not informed on the tickets or prior to the booking.

This venue hides in between the cafes/gelato chocolate places. The house company is Monkey Baa which produce great children shows on a range of subjects.

The theatre is simple. The stage size is ideal for small touring shows and simple technical requirements. The seating rake is flat so the size seats would be uncomfortable. The seats aren't comfortable but was OK for a 1 hour show.

I like that this theatre is easy access for families that go to darling harbour. The monkey baa shows are great and, through this venue, can reach their audience
