I really don't shop often but I have never been disappointed with a purchase or with my membership services.

I left my bike here for one night and they fixed everything I asked them to fix, as well as something I didn't ask them to fix, without charging me for the latter. The staff members are all very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. A mix of men and women who know what they're doing and what they're talking about. I got a membership here, so I'll be coming back here again soon. Thank you REI.

Always helpful and kind. I needed some advice on how to make a bag work better, and one of their representatives spent at least 30 mins with me trying out different options. They are also very disability friendly. It doesn't seem like a place that would be, but they are very knowledgeable at adapting gear, so that all abilities can enjoy the outdoors!

Great customer care in the shoe department. I forgot to catch the bit older guys name but wonderful service. Great fit and advice. Knowledgeable about shoes.
Right now REI is low on mid range sizes but assures they will be stocked in short order.

Bike service department is very disappointing.

I brought my bike in for a tune up before riding the trail of the couer d alenes with my dog (in his bike trailer). There were 3 employees (one a mechanic) complimenting me on how great my bike was. It is an older bike but they said it would just need to be cleaned and looked at . When I picked it up, they had taken apart the drive train and not re-tensioned the gears properly.

My first time bringing it back, Bryan (I believe his name was) worked on it and rode it outside. He told me it felt a lot better but to bring it back if I wasn t happy. I was on my lunch break at the time but tested it before I got back to work. It was better, but it still wasn t right. The shifting was rough enough that it slowed/stopped my momentum and made very loud clanking noises.

After work I stopped by a second time so they had more time to tune the gears. Dan was brought out to assist me. He informed me that with his 30+ years experience he didn t believe that my bike was ever in the good condition I described. He told me that even with 6 more hours of work, he wouldn t be able to fix it...

I suppose if there s a silver lining they did issue me a refund, but now I have a bike that is clean and difficult to ride.

If your bike is more than two years old I would recommend taking it anywhere but REI. Clearly the mechanics here do not have the interest or time to return bikes to their full performance after charging $80+ for a cleaning...

REI is the model I would want for most any retail chain and this one specifically is great staff is helpful and informative.

Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. The store is surprisingly well-stocked too, I can almost always find what I m looking for and in my size. We are fortunate to have this outdoor resource in our community.

It s funny to read the reviews of all these angry right-wingers who can t believe someone actually expected them to wear a mask during a pandemic do you actually have anything relevant to say about this store?

All the equipment is high quality, the ppl are knowledgeable on their area and friendly.

This place is so awesome! Searched all around town for a decent pair of high quality hiking boots. I searched out North 40, sportsman warehouse,and against my better judgement, the mall,.all to no avail.
Then I found. "REI"WHAT WAS I THINKING ? I should of went there in the first place. Great service , and found exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend REI to anyone looking for quality out door gear, and apparel, this is the spot! No jokes!

We haven't been to REI in a long time. Had to stop in this time and browse around and buy a few things.
The staff was friendly like always. I want one of those REI e-bikes. I wish they would come out with an REI e- recumbent for us folks with disabilities.
