Don't know much about it. Line was wrapped around the building and the barely just opened. Must be popular, too much so for me.

So over the top. Kinda wish there were some simpler offerings. Everything is delicious, but very heavy. Heed their name.

If I could come here 5 days a week I would. The bacon biscuits and gravy is so ridiculously good. The key is to add a side of potatoes, which I think are baked in a garlic oil or something. They have a nice garlic flavor without being overpowering. Throw those bad boys in the biscuits and gravy and you have a fantastic breakfast. Staff is always nice and you can tell everyone who works here enjoys their job. Highly recommend this place. I wish I could come more often.

This is the absolute best breakfast to be had in the Sacramento area. The cinnamon roll is phenomenal and anything with the gravy is simply glutinous.

I love breakfast and if you do, this is the place for you in Sacramento!

5* Food - Tasted amazing and hit the spot.

5* Atmosphere - The place looked crowded from the outside, but didn't feel crowded once inside. The decor was nice and everything was clean.

5* Service - They were quick to take our order, quick with the coffee, and quick to bring out the food. Top notch service from a top notch establishment.

Excellent biscuits and gravy, but docking a star because they do not carry sugar free syrup. How hard is it to carry that? I was really looking forward to trying the flapjacks but just not the same without the syrup.

Great concept. As a chef myself I'm always looking for new dishes and twists on traditional ones. They do both! and it's rare I find a menu with more than 2-3 items that actually intrigue me. I had the chicken and waffles and the the fluffy waffle topped with hand breaded chicken breast mixed with sweet figs and drizzled with a sweet and spicy syrup was on point. Also loved the hot pepper shavings for some additional kick. Chicken could have been more juicy but that is sometimes hard to obtain without dark meat and skin.

Went back again the grilled cheese Benedict and the breakfast burritos are insane they move this to five for me. They fry a cheese crust on to the burrito. Wow !!!

Amazing food always. Been there multiple times and every time has been stellar! Excellent service and local, fresh food. The chefs really know what they are doing!

4 stars because the waiter sucked. First time that's happened given the many times I've been there. I had the Grilled Cheese Benedict, which was awesome and I think they make the best burger in town.

Wow where to start food was not good bland and in need of salt the person that took me there hyped it for about 2 hours before we got there to wait an hour to be seated the named is trendy that it's farm to table is trendy too but honestly the food was horrid the bacon gravy was sad and the potatoes even blander than the rest of the food

They live up to the promise of their name. Delicious southern comfort refined by the Sacramento style.

Lots of dry bread. Then more dry bread. Then some dry bread shaped like a waffle, and some shaped like a pancake. Don't get the other reviews. One dish came with fried chicken - it was dry coated with a lot of bread. Some bread had creamy toppings glopped on it. Maybe this stuff plays out well in Sacramento. I just hope their customers are triathletes.
I also hope I don't have to go to another group meal here.

Bacon & Butter is a great place for breakfast. The staff is friendly, and once seated, the service is prompt. I try to go any time I visit Sacramento. Go early, before the rush, or there could be a wait, but the food is worth the wait.

Try the grapefruit creme brulee! Reasonable prices. They need a bigger seating area because the demand is HIGH! Get there early! Perhaps they need more high chair compatible seating too.

Excellent food and really good service. Faster than expected delivery to the table as well. You'll probably have e to wait but it's worth it.

Excellent place to get breakfast. The dish they served was superb. The atmosphere was really nice and laid back, and the staff were friendly without being overbearing. Will go back 100%

Get ready to wait for days. Seriously show up at 7am put your name on the list, go eat somewhere else and come back around noon. The food is good and fresh but this is a commitment.

Best brunch I've had in a long time. Well worth the wait. The staff was amazing and the food was out of this world.

Just went once with some friends from the neighborhood to see what it was all about. Ordered the avocado toast but the avocado wasn't ripe. It wasn't but didn't live up to the hype to me.

Food was good, but greasy. I never got a refill on my water. My bloody Mary was terrible. Wish they used gloves. The receipt in the book was different.

Great service, great food, clean place. Don't let the long line dissuade you, I have never waited more than 15 minutes to be seated. I would be willing to wait longer than that to eat here anyway.

These five stars are entirely for our wonderful waitress who did the right thing to prevent ruining our dining experience. I don't even remember the name of the dish I had, or what it tasted like. But I do remember I found a piece of metal thingy in my food, and I wasn't happy about that. Our waitress apologized properly for the situation, offered to have the kitchen make a new one and after I declined

I seen why its 5 stars!. Phenomenal! Their coffee to start off was very rich in taste (black no cream or sugar) the serice there is exceptional. Even the bathroom was clean and tidy. A highly recommended place to at least try once. Add to your Bucket list of places to tey and visit. Again great food.

The breakfast burrito was amazing. We had a long wait, but it was totally worth it.

Home made everything nearly everything is from scratch. Even the hot coco and marsh mellows and whipped cream! This place is packed nearly all the time though so plan to make is an event when you come here. The bacon? Will make you mouth water. It's bacon fest all year here :) service is always top notch.

Only bad thing is everyone knows about how great bacon and butter is. So you have a wait at even the oddest of times!

Great food and a very hipster feel. It's the right amount of hipster though. There is always a wait so swing by to put your name in then go for a walk to the west to grab a quiet coffee.

Don't understand all the hype. Worst breakfast I every ate. Avoid the Kitchen Sink.

Fries (not pictured, but they're actually fingerling potatoes, baked? and perfectly salted) = super good

They have mixed drinks liquor beer on tap and great food. The baked goods look great.

The waiting for a table is extensive like 45-1 hour wait however once you get seated. The staff is very friendly and nice not to mention very fast service. Before you know it your food has arrived. Definetly worth the long wait.

Bacon and butter! How could you go wrong?! There were some great options but I decided to try the chicken fried bacon and French toast. I was not disappointed. I think it might be better than most chicken and waffles I've ever tried. What a combo!? Must go if you're nearby.

This place is very tiny and it is always packed with people since the Food is high quality and the performance of the dishes are amazing. Our wait was 45 to 50 minutes on a Sunday but in the end it was worth it. Not matter what dish you get, it's guaranteed that you will love it. Customer service is good. Parking is free.

I was in town visiting family for the Christmas holidays and wanted to try this place since its new. The food was definitely worth the 35 minute wait. Go famished, because they give you a lot of food and it is delicious! The ambiance is very nice and the service was amazing! They bring your check inside of an old book. I will come back when I return.

I have been to this location twice and I am really excited that they opened a second location. Wait times and parking can be a big challenge. The staff is friendly but incredibly busy which takes away from that cherry on top in regards to service. The ambiance is nice and the food is great but be prepared for a heavy breakfast! It is pretty inherent in the name so it shouldn't come as a surprise. I think the second location might ease the heavy weight time.

We were visiting the area. We came here and it was really cool. We ordered the French toast and flapjacks. Both were amazing looking and tasty. The only issue I had was that the flapjacks were a little undercooked. The middle was doughy and tasted more like batter. Overall all a great experience and great customer service.

Sometimes flocks of people are right. I'm pretty sure the coffee shop around the corner opened mostly to serve coffee to the flocks of people waiting to drink coffee. and eat decadent food. The food's decadent. Prominently features locally sourced butter and the finest imported bacon or maybe it was the other way around.

Don t let the line deter you, just know it s going to be a wait. The servers do an amazing job at keeping this very busy place going. The food was delicious and beautiful. It is very apparent that they put their heart and soul into their food! Thank you!!!

I was really excited about going hear.... Ordered an omlette and country potatoes and gravy.. Was VERY disappointed!!!! Yuck! However they eere nice about getting us something else.... Like the Pecan & Pear French Toast. ...OMG now that is to die for!!!!!
