Very helpful staff even during busy Sunday brunch rush. Had the pork belly hash - complex flavors with onions Brussels sweet potatoes and herbs and spices. Eggs cooked well and food came out quickly after our wait for a table. Timing on table wait time was right on point so we were pleased with that bit. No liquor license so it's beer and wine and soju (rice wine) if you want a bloody or breakfast adult beverage.
I have been wanting to come here every time I'm in Sacramento and today's the day! Sadly, they did not meet my expectation as being one of the six best places for breakfast in Sacramento. The spring hash was flavorless. It helped bring out the flavor when you add Tabasco and salt. On the other hand, their sausage patty was good, but not $5 good. The rose lemonade was from a bottle, so it doesn't reflect the restaurant's culinary skills. Overall, I wouldn't come back and it's not worth the wait. Simply another lackluster hipster joint in Sacramento.
Great food, big portions, a little pricey for breakfast though
Loved it for a romantic posh and urban place to get an awesome meal. Well out together different type of menu. Oh there Is usually a pretty long wait, early bird gets the worm in this restaurant
OMG! That Greek yogurt, fruit, and honey bowl was to die for! I think it touched a little part of soul. Will definitely return.
Well worth the wait if it happens to be full. Once your seated it's nothing but excellent service by great staff and a wonderful atmosphere. And the food is the icing on the cake.
B&B deserves all the hype and it's worth the wait. Thanks to the ownership group for giving Sacramento exactly what it wants. The best food, sourced responsibly, made passionately, and served impeccably.
Sacramento staple for some of the best brunch you'll find anywhere. Fast service no matter how busy once seated. Don't go on a Saturday or Sunday and not expect to wait for table.
Great food. Amazing atmosphere, the owner greets you with an smile and the servers are super polite. The decoration is lovely very hipster. 10 stars
Breakfast food very good but a little too pricey -for atmosphere. There is a pretty good wait so be prepared.
Excellent Breakfast. Picked up Togo food for family at UC Davis Med center. I'll be back soon.
Perfect in every way! Be prepared for a wait, but believe me-it is worth it! The homemade biscuits are little puffy clouds from heaven.
Was super excited to try the Grilled Cheese Benedict, but then really didn't feel well after. I don't eat pork though and I'm sure they cook all food on the same equipment, so it may not be an issue for someone who does regularly.
This place stays busy and for good reason. The food here is amazing. Not a huge menu but no need when everything is great.
Taste was ok. Not meant for daily consupmtion but fun to try
The food is very very good. Just hate the long wait. Portion size is on the large size too.
I KNOW THE PLACE IS BUSY WHEN THE TIME I WENT THERE. I TOOK MY DAUGHTER SHE SAID," DAD, CAN WE ORDER THE DAMN PANCAKES?!" SHE KEPT TALKING ABOUT IT ON THE RIDE HOME. I GIVE THIS PLACE A 100 THUMBS UP!
We were in the neighborhood so I treated my sisters to breakfast there. I was not impressed with the food and I feel it was way overpriced. I get it... that they serv a little bit bigger portions but, not at the prices they are charging.
Always great food, mostly good service, just have to wait forever to get seated. Hopefully the new second location will reduce wait times and improve the experience even further.
I really enjoyed this place. We waited for an hour but it was worth it. I have never seen nicer stuff anywhere, very attentive. I had just coffee but my bf really enjoyed his waffles with chicken. They have soy milk alternative.
This place is just ok. Long wait. Pricey. The place is too small. Breakfast burrito wasn t that good, it was ok. I probably will not order it again. The French Toast was good, but my son didn t like it. I tasted them and thought it was yummy. Our youngest had the flapjacks and he said it was good.
Excellent food with a nice intimate and fun setting. One of my favorite eateries in town.
Is it nice restaurant. Large proportions of food. I wasn't impressed with the taste of my dish.
This is my go to brunch place in Sac! You absolutely have to try their grilled cheese egg benedict, it will change your life
OMG a Gastro A++ great service, savory delicious food and not a place for dieters. It was an excellent find on our way en-route to Lake Tahoe from San Francisco.
Oh my gosh! Great breakfast! I got The Kitchen Sink. So good...I'll be back for that. Our server, Kristine was fantastic. She was attentive and informative. We we're very happy with our visit.
The staff was friendly and the place was packed. Ordered the grilled cheese Benedict and the broccoli polenta. They were delicious and very generous portions. And the mimosas they make are pretty strong too
Been thinking about visiting this restaurant for some time now. Finally in the neighborhood and decided to try it. Great service, an amazing, diverse menu with great food. Highly recommended.
Breakfast burrito was incredible but don't forget to look at the fresh baked goods
Great service! Have an awesome book to leave memories about your visit in!
Meh! Its OK! The food was hot and the coffee very good. The wait was long and the the prices a bit high for the quality.
Amazing food, great staff, cute and unique atmosphere. Not a very big place but with the way the chefs care about the food, this place will never go out of business!! Always a pleasure to come here :-)
Good darn food. This food is just like shown and is a good eats place. It's truly foodporn.
There's always a consistent line because it's consistently good. Glad the grapefruit brulee is back on the menu!
Good ol' Down Home Cooking! *If you have high blood pressure, coronary disease or diabetes, you might want to think twice and hard about the name of this place...
Solid breakfast and brunch fare. Relaxed vibe. Attentive service.
The kitchen sink and the burrito. Simply Amazing, but save your "workout points" for this place. It's not a low cal meal, but it's totally worth it.
Came back home from a long roadtrip & found this gem. Wait was minimal, food was AMAZING, atmosphere is very calm and inviting. Will definitely come back. I recommend Broccoli Polenta & Billy Club.
Great place to visit for some good breakfast. Stopped by on a weekend morning, and there was a line to get seated, but I believe in good things come to those who wait, and surely enough...the food was great! Highly recommend! Great waffles!.
Quaint and somewhat romantic atmosphere indoors. Delicious options to choose from. Very attentive waiter even though it was during lunchtime on a Friday. I will likely return. Highly recommend
Great place for breakfast!! We just have to remember to go. Lol
If you want excellent food.... This place is aMUST GO TO!!!!
Holy Moly!!!! Best decision ever! Drove from Camptonville to pick a friend up at the bus and went straight here. Hands down, cherry on top of a nice drive and Reunion!!! Thank you to Kristine for such nice hospitality, and to the chefs that nailed each delicious creation of sublime breakfast. 20/10 will reccomend/return. <3
Great spin on dishes. My only advice is that you wait till fruits are in season to have more options available. Buy a drink that has refills.. and it's best to go while most people are at work. Lol
Great food and service. Worth the 2.5 hour wait on a Sunday afternoon! About $60 for 3 people, ate breakfast and each ordered a non-alcoholic drink
I can see why everyone seems to love this place and why lines are out the door.
Not sure if my french toast was thoroughly cooked. Place was busy as usual but since I came by myself i was seated right away.
Really good but get there early, they are really busy!
I give this place 5 stars all day. Foods amazing, service is friendly and fast with an overall chill vibe! If you dont mind waiting, must try for Sacramento!! We will return.
Love, love, love it! The food was excellent and my service was great:) I will return soon. I enjoyed the atmosphere and very much like that they deliver your check to you in a book. Go early to get parking because they're loved by many hungry people.
Fifteen minute wait at 9:30 was well worth it. Great selection of interesting dishes and the wait staff was relaxed and pleasant.
Really good food and nice staff . We had to wait 40 min for brunch Saturday, but it was worth it
Got there at 10am on a memorial weekend sunday morning. Wait was 1 hr long. Good thing I was doing take out. I ordered the grilled cheese Benedict with potatoes. Perfect!!! Grilled cheese had bacon with it, the potatoes were moist yet crispy, and the sauce was the perfect addition. All I needed was ketchup. The wait for take out was only 10mins and ready for me at the hostess stand. If you are in a hurry but want great food. This is the place to call. The ambience was modern with a small town charm. Restaurant is nestled in a community of homes. Very easy to find. Definitely coming back whenever I am in sac-town
Yes it's crowded. Yes, it's awesome. Definitely try the biscuits and gravy and the sweets.
AMAZING! The flavor is superb! Everything's delicious. The staff is super awesome, especially during the COVID. Safe practices with a friendly vibe! That's kind of rare! I decided on the grilled cheese Benedict with potatoes while my girlfriend got the avocado toast with fruit. The food came out pretty quickly even though it was busy.
Food is fresh and delicious. Saturdays are a tad less packed than Sundays, but you're still looking at a 30+min wait. The earlier you get there, the better. Be sure to get their cinnamon roll! It's amazing.
Bacon and butter is a great restaurant pretty small they really need to expand it but other than that the burgers are so good I literally could have one every day for dinner if I can my family's been coming here for quite some years now but I really hope they will expand in the near future the place is really small and cramped.
Had a small get together and ordered family style. It was very good. Staff was nice, attentive, and unobtrusive.
The chicken and waffles could be cut with a fork. The chicken was perfectly coated and crispy. The waffle crisp and airy. The kicker was the maple syrup with bacon pieces. Yum. I even ordered a side of scrambled eggs. They melted in my mouth. My friend was impressed that I ordered her the items she couldn't decide. The berry pancake and the FGT. Check it out to find out what it means.
A busy place with great menu option. Definitely worth a visit, but plan ahead as it could be a bit of a wait to get seated.
Be prepared to pay. But it IS worth it. The food is delicious. Made fresh to order. You might have to wait for a table but they're prompt. They're courteous.
Food was good. Very popular place. Long wait at 9am on a Saturday, about 30 minutes. Once seated, food is served fast. Friendly service. Warm atmosphere. I went with my best friend so of course we had a nice time.
Amazing food, fun atmosphere and fantastic service. I'll definitely be coming back to this hidden gem.
While everyone says it is "worth the wait", we were lucky, we were there on a Thursday and only waited 20 minutes. The food is unique and very tasty. Large portions, and a little noisy.
We were a little hesitant at first looking at the menu, but once the food came and we took that first bite, we were sold! The food was absolutely amazing - we will be back next Sac trip!! My husband had the biscuits and bacon gravy and I had the sausage biscuit. Simple dishes with amazing flavor. You won't be disappointed
Get here early or show up just before closing if you want a seat quickly. There's always a line any other time at this Sacramento favorite.
Today was an amazing experience. The bruch has variety of seasonal and sustainable foods. I love the beneditcs eggs..... keep the good work .
I love eating local when I travel....this place was not only delicious but the atmosphere, and staff were excellent. I would highly recommend! Come hungry becuase you'll be full the rest of the day.
food was great pancakes the best recoment to anybody come early all ways busy
Their Grilled Cheese Benedict is the best breakfast food ever made.
I met a friend for lunch, and we had a twenty minute wait. When we got seated, the server was great, the food arrived within ten minutes of ordering, and it was excellent. The prices were a little high, but the quality was worth it! I will be back again for sure.
Excellent food! Can't make a reservation so there is a wait time but well worth the wait.
Amazing neighborhood gem. Fantastic, creative food and great cocktails. Grilled cheese Benedict is a must. Expect a wait as soon as the doors open on weekends.
Great service, upscale menu items transform breakfast, overall a yummy experience.
They are really friendly and the food is totally amazing.
Loveeed this place!! First time here and We were more then pleased with the treatment of the employees there, they are so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was awesome and We enjoyed it until the last bite. We even forgot about the 30 mins wait to get a table after we got our food. Definitely we are going back, highly recommended.
