very nice for family group brunch. family style food was delicious and service outstanding!
very nice for family group brunch. family style food was delicious and service outstanding!
The food isgood and the coffee is OK. The coffee tastes like just your regular pot coffee.
Really good hole-in-the-wall place to eat breakfast. You can taste the freshness and quality they put in the food
Another overpriced, underquality, greasy garbage food place. You'll probably like it if McDonald's is your go to but you want something classy. Gross
Worst experience ever. Would definitely not recommend. Over an hour and a half wait due to the host writing down the wrong name. Food was subpar as best.
Loved it. After eating at a number of brunch places in the Sacramento area, this is one that definitely lives up to the hype. Split the Pear-Pecan French Toast and the Grilled Cheese Benedict. Both were phenomenal. The only thing that I would argue this place could do better would be to give sharp knives - it was difficult to cut the bacon in the Benedict with the butter knife they gave us.
The wait can be long, but it's worth it.
Great food. Great staff. A little bit of a wait, but totally worth it.
Fantastic food for everyone! They use quality ingredients and talented chefs to make really great food! The staff is also super friendly and helpful!
My god what a spectacular random find. We live in modesto and make the trek regularly just to have breakfast/lunch here. Five stars across the board (service, taste, quality, price, atmosphere)
If I could I would give this great restaurant 10 stars! Great food, excellent service and overall an awesome atmosphere!!!
My first experience here was so good. The last time I was here the staff seemed preoccupied. I also wish they had more alternatives for people with food allergies. Like Orphan, Tower, and Pushkins all local brunch places.
Well worth the wait! Chicken n Waffles with Lardon to top them off!! Amazing!! grace
Amazing breakfast place, come early to avoid long line.
Best breakfast spot in Sac. The baker makes INCREDIBLE donuts, biscuits and pastries, and the cooks are just phenomenal all the time. The seasonal dishes are the best the fried green tomato eggs Benedict and the broccoli polenta are two of my favorites!
Went here for breakfast with a friend and this place is great! A little pricey, but worth every penny. This place does tend to get packed and parking can be hard to find since spaces are limited around the area. But the wait is worth it!
I love the environment and the food! Wait time is a bit long but totally worth it! One of my favorites in town!
This place is amazing! The food was super tasty and filling (I always need a Togo box). The mimosas are also a nice touch! The servers are the best around and I always receive the best service. I highly recommend the French toast with seasonal fruit and the kitchen sink. Best brunch place for sure, can't wait to go back!
Fabulous food. Large portions and so tasty. I could eat here every day.
The restaurant was nice enough, and the service was good. I ordered the biscuit and gravy with bacon, and it was way saltier than I had expected. The price was a little high ($17 for food and coffee). I may try going back for something different on the menu
Highly recommend a visit. Very good eats will have your tastebuds and stomach satisfied. There quite busy and the wait is definitely worth it..
Great menu with a friendly staff. Though the cute place tends to attract people there for the Instagram post, the food lives up to the hype. Bonus a large parking lot means you won t be stuck circling for 20 min figuring out where your car should go. Visit on a weekday if possible to avoid crowds.
Bacon and Butter has THE BEST brunch with the French toast and my personal favorite, grilled cheese eggs benedict!! Order your cinnamon rolls early! They are as big as your head and are sold out early!
Awesome place, fantastic food, amazing staff. Can't recommend this place enough! Just be prepared for a wait.
Great service. Good food. The portion is generous. Service was fantastic. The line can be long so don't expect to eat right away.
The wait can be long sometimes, but it s worth it! Food is delicious!
Hands down one of the best places to get breakfast in Sacramento excellent food excellent service
Amazing breakfast and lunch place. Big waffles with delicious syrup and fresh fruit.
Good service but come early if you don't want to wait for a seat!
Expect to wait for a table, but staff is super friendly, welcoming and attentive
This place serves delicious food, made from scratch! The bacon in my grilled cheese was delicious, the portions are very generous. Also they have a decent selection of Mimosas which I will be coming back to try. Lastly, the bread pudding was AMAZING! !
The food AND service was AMAZING! So much food COULD NOT eat it all but we tried!! Worth the wait!
One of the best places to get some great late morning food! Incredible creations from the kitchen and a friendly wait staff. The place is busy and well deserved, plan to wait for a table but so well worth it
Great breakfast...as usual. I've never been disappointed by the service or food. Highly reccomend if you can beat the line.
I had an awesome breakfast here. I believe it was called the kitchen sink. Wow, I had heard so many good things about this place and my friends were right. Ill be back for more.
The wait is long. The food is absolutely finger licking good. OMG the chicken and waffles have me life. I did the happy food dance. Must try.
Unbelievable menu, awesome food and incredible service! I'm coming back next time I'm in Sacramento!
I was told about this place when my neighbors visited the restaurant and tried the food over there and loved it. My wife and I were in the area so we decided to stop by and try it ourselves. The restaurant was busy. The wait was not too long likeed the decor and once we were seated it did not take long for the food to come. The people working there were cheerful and attentive This was the first time that I had a sandwich with an egg on top and it was great. Will be definitely going back I got
Amazing breakfast, but the wait is outrageous... 2hr is to long to wait for breakfast, but then again.... if you have the time it's worth it!!!
Chicken and waffles, side of bacon, breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito is a must try it won't let you down.
Great Food, Great vibe, and great service. The staff stopped by multiple times to check on us throughout our meal. Highly recommended!
Food was great. I would recommend to friends and family
This place has amazing food. I had the breakfast burrito and potatoes, both were absolutely delicious!
The best biscuits & gravy in Sacramento. Hands down.
Our waitress was absolutely awesome we gave her a great tip
Got a delicious bacon and cheese biscuit sandwich. So good and loved the ambiance of the restaurant!
great meal, nice wait staff and interesting place overall. They gave me a check in a book! That was interestingly cool! The table was so small that we could not comfortably fit all the food and the coffee cups. The server forgot to leave us sugar with our coffee at first... so it was coffee with just cream. A good experience overall
Pretty good food. I had the biscuit sandwich with gravy.
Good food, GREAT staff and service. Extremely busy. Get their early on the weekend.
Good food, great for breakfast. I wish they had lattes and more coffee options. Need that with Breakfast.
Excellent little spot! Big portions of great food!!! And great coffee!
Fine place for quality brunch. Nice place to relax, people watch, eat good, etc. I will be bringing family next time. It has a cool feel to it. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.
Pretty limited menu although the food is good it would be nice to have a better selection. Chicken waffles were good but not great. A lot of the breakfast food is over rated. Ambiance is Jersey diner Esq at best. After we left i met friends at the IHOP on Folsom and was blown away by how much better the food and selection was at a fraction of the cost.
My only complaint is the hour and a half drive from our home to this bomb diggity bomb place!!
Love Love this place although the wait can be long it s definitely worth it! The French toast is amazing! Love all of their food though!
I couldn't give this place a 5-star rating simply because of its absurd wait times. Almost 2 hours of waiting!! Yes, the food was definitely amazing but I'm not sure I'd want to go back and wait hours for bunch.
Super good flavors were so good, everyone that came with me loved it the breakfast burrito is one of the best that I've had.
Had a really fantastic weekend brunch here with a friend. I'm a sucker for poached eggs, and the grilled cheese eggs Benedict did not disappoint! The outside of the grilled cheese had a fantastic layer of melted cheese and crispy bacon. We also had mimosas, which had an orangey grapefruit (?) vibe. All in all very yum.
The only problem is that the wait is absurd for brunch (1 hour!)
My review is solely based on food merit alone...the service was good too. I did not Experience any rudeness or a long wait. I walked in I was one single person and got a seat at the bar immediately. In reading Only in Northern California the article indicated that the biscuit was one of the best around. After going and trying the biscuit I must concur. As a chef I've tried many biscuits and this biscuit is in the top 3. The grilled cheese Benedict seemed strange but after trying it it was awesome as well. The cinnamon rolls was huge and great as well. I don't normally rated places with 5 stars but the food alone merits this review.
Yummmmm! Anything is a good choice! Limited seating so be prepared to wait but it s completely worth it.
Love this place. Who doesn't love breakfast comfort food? Used to go here before quarantine with friends to order massive platters of family style breakfast (bacon, eggs, waffles, potatoes, etc). No seating during quarantine unfortunately, as of Sept 2020, but may change soon. Recently got the chicken and waffles togo, which were great and super filling.
Not fond of the wait. Food was awesome! Would definitely go back for the sos. If you don't know what that is. It's biscuits and gravy. Try it
Nice internal dining room with chic feel. Good food, just a bit too much bacon/animal fat oil in the things we got.
Ok. I don't usually give reviews but this place is very deserving of a great review. The food and service is amazing. Such unique dishes and the flavors all go together so well.
Best breakfast in town! Love this place! Sometimes the bar service is pretty lame, but the food is amazing!
Delicious food and very cute atmosphere! Cocktails weren't great, but you don't come here for drinks. It's all about the breakfast food, which was great. A bit pricey compared to some other breakfast joints, but I'd say worth it.
We went there on Sunday and as always we have to wait, but that's OK Cuz it's a great place to grab a bite!! The food was great as always but the only thing I didn't like and I think it's bad was that, 2 persons inside of the kitchen (guy and women) was chewing bubble gum with their mouth open as they was putting the fund on the plates, this is just a no no!!! I was seated in front of the kitchen so I can see everything, my food was prepared for another person otherwise honestly I won't accept it, it's just unprofessional and unhealthy!! Hope the restaurant fix this ki d of situation!!
Great place for delicious Brunch. Got there about three, it wasn't crowded. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Prices are reasonable I would say. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.
Don't let a wait deter you. It's AMAZING! Arrive hungry and try it all!
Tried this place for the first time had a biscuit sandwich it was really good. Actually I was in a group of 7 and everyone had something different and I would really like to eat all of them except for the guy who got a vegan kitchen sink it was probably healthy but why would you go to a place with a name of Bacon and Butter for a vegan meal.
Omygoodness! You can smell the bacon from the outside! So great! No matter what you get.
This is a must goo to place for breakfast!
Recommended to us by the desk clerk at Hertz no less, Bacon & Butter was a great choice for a late breakfast. Cool interior decor with a limited menu of interesting choices. The peach French toast was delicious and a good sized serving. Half the breakfast burrito ended up coming with us because it was so large.
Jeremy, or server was awesome!! And the drinks and food were wonderful! This is always a good place to eat. Expect to wait to be seated.
A long wait for decent food. I've nothing bad to say about the food, it was good but typical. Nothing stood out as exceptional. Definitely wasn't worth standing outside for an hour.
Absolutely delicious! Extremely friendly staff and homey atmosphere. Farm to fork food, and barely any wait... I believe there are vegetarian options. 10/10 would come here again.
Our first time here. My wife and I loved the food. Staff is awesome. Will be back to try the other items on their menu.
Good food, good service, the ambiance is great, long line.
I travel for work and typically find myself in a new city one or twice a week. Bacon and Butter is the best breakfast I've ever had.
Never had a bad dish and loved the pancake shots! Also the cool picture in the bathroom, bonus lol
I waited an hour to get in for Sunday brunch after church... I know now after eating the waffle...I would wait five hours.
Grilled cheese with a cheese skirt? No, I'd say more like a cheese dress. Cheese poncho. Cheese... Mumu. Fantastically delicious.
