Great food usually not to busy compared to other places

This was the dirtiest and dumpiest Backyard Burgers I have ever been in. Every vent in the ceiling was black. In saying that, food was decent so instead of one star they get two.

If you want a grilled burger, but don"t have time to crank up that old grill in your yard, then head to Backyard Burgers in Cleveland. There you will find not only the burger of your dreams, but fries and onion rings galore. Oh and don't forget the special homemade Gratzi (sp) sauce!. It is one of a kind and you will love it. Give you a hint on tbe taste? No way!!!! This you will have to try for yourself, it is that special. So head out now before the lines get long!

The staff was very friendly,but the food wasn't warm,it lacked the freshness of a burger as it comes off the grill.So next time you should at least heat the burger up on the grill before serving a precooked patty burger to someone.

I'm eating this about an hour after getting my food. it still tastes good. My fault about the timing on getting the food to eating it. They were friendly and made sure the order was right.

I absolutely LOVE this place. Food is alway piping hot as it's made to order. Their shakes. Holy moly... hand dipped and made with love and THICCCCCCCCCK!!! Mrs. Gratzi fries are ABSOLUTE LIFE and you'll never look at fries the same way once you try them. Their fried pickles are outstanding also. And of course COBBLER...... COOOOOOBBBBBBBBLLLLEEERRRRRR. If you have any room, you HAVE to try some. The flavors differ daily but each one is just. Just try some. Trust me.

Awful!! Ordered the picnic burger for a smaller version. Burger was ICE COLD. Sent it back and the 2nd time was still cold. Great service from the counter team with our return of our food and refund. Just was not good... we expected at least a hot burger.

I stopped by here while passing through Cleveland. I ordered a Black Jack Chicken sandwich. It was pretty good, but it was warm and not hot. My fries were piping hot, so I m assuming the sandwich was made before the fries were dropped. I also had a chocolate shake and it wasn t good. It was almost white in color and tasted more like a vanilla shake with a hint of chocolate in it. It s worth noting that the employees were awesome and great at their jobs. I d definitely return if I m back in the area.

I would give zero stars if there was an option. After sitting in line in the drive-thru for probably half an hour I got a burger with no cheese when I went to get a strawberry shake and a cheeseburger.

Used to be a hopping place! A little run down now but a nice, friendly staff. We caught them trying to handle a big take out order. Our food was ok, but not like a few years ago. Not like a backyard burger patty ...seemed like a cafeteria type patty. Could have been a off day. I'll try again next time I'm in Cleveland...

Absolutely disgusting. I got half way through my burger . I felt something rally gritty, and found the lettuce was not only sandy, but was days old. Zero customer service skills on the managements part in trying to resolve the issue.

We chose this as the last fast food place to eat before relocating. Their burgers are so yummy and the service is always fast and friendly.

Burgers are good. Food choices are excellent. Restaurant itself needs so much cleaning and updating.

Great service! The hamburger is very flavorful. The sweet potato fries are slightly sweet with cinnamon and delicious. The cobbler and ice cream was the best in town. Why go anywhere else when you have Backyard Burger? highly recommend!

Wife went picked up takeout. Ate my meal, drank my drink while watching some TV. My drink got empty, so I took top off to refresh it with a Diet Coke, and a damn roach was running around inside the cup. Puked for 15min, never been or going back. Don't deserve the one star.

Nasty on the inside. Sat and waited for food for over 10 minutes and wasn't busy. Poor management

This is where we usually stop to eat if we're in Cleveland at mealtimes. That's mostly because it's the closest Backyard Burgers to where we live in Greenville. BYB has always been one of my favorite fast food places. You get real, big, good burgers here, unlike at most fast food burger places. The mushroom swiss burger has always been my favorite there. Service is good, staff is friendly.

One time when we went they were not busy at all and the girl working at the counter was super friendly, told us we could go ahead and sit down and she'd bring our order to us. I ordered just a burger and drink because I can't have fries. Not realizing that was the reason, she gave my boyfriend extra fries in case we wanted to share. I went back to the counter for peach cobbler and she again said she'd bring it out to me, and she brought it with 2 spoons in case we wanted to share. Unlike at any other fast food place she checked on us at our table a couple of times to make sure our food was ok and even took our trash for us. That is not the usual even at BYB but was really nice and made for a pleasant meal to start off the trip we were taking.

Hamburger meat had a bad smell.i could not eat it. I Ate the onion rings that was fair. Drink not good. Yuk.. ' drbadhadbanoddoddoddffflav.

Menu posted on line different than in store. No Turkey cuisine. Lemonade taste powdery.

Excellent customer service with wide menu options. They are situated right off hwy 61 and offer a spacious parking lot large enough for rvs! Many burger options and the sweet tea be on point!

Food is always good. My favorite is the wild turkey. Their seasoned fries are so good. Peach cobbler is delicious and very sweet! Staff members are always nice. Price $$

Ordered chili cheese fries the chili was cold. Napkin holder felt like an old vent a hood that hasn't been cleaned in years

Food was over cooked and over priced. Not worth the visit.

Ate here for the first time today. The food was really good. It's not too pricey. Definitely would recommend this place to others. Only complaint was that it was kind of dirty. It was busy so it took a while to get our food, but it was worth the wait.
