Great service, delicious wine and a beautiful setting.
Great service, delicious wine and a beautiful setting.
Great unique Quatre wine that was different but amazing. Really enjoyed the Rose as well closer down by the vineyards at a cute little picnic table.
Ashley was AMAZING!! She s studying for her Sommelier level I and II and was able to geek out with my husband and I. At first greeting she made us laugh. I thought she had worked for B.R.Cohn for a while but she s fairly new! Hang on to that one she s passionate, friendly, knowledgeable and charming. Since I m in the industry I d snatch her up if I could! Truly great hospitality and WINE! We love B.R Cohn. My first date with my husband was here 11 years ago. We are loyal club members and clients. Thank you for continuous memories.
We loved every wine we tried! Tasting was fun and relaxed, views were beautiful. Reed, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and kind.
Wonderful garlic and basil olive oil! Visiting B.R. Cohn is always a treat for me, as I enjoy the atmosphere of wine country but don't drink.
They were nice and accommodating, but I wasn't a big fan of their wines.
The best part of the factory tour was design studio.
Ashley was the bomb dot com! She knew so much about wine, it blew my mind!
Great views and beautiful setting. Really enjoyed the tasting and would recommend it to everyone!
Absolutely gorgeous grounds. Came here for an event with ~75 people. The vinyard was amazing and we got to watch the sun set behind the hills.
The food was delicious and the area where we had the event was great! Lots of space behind the winery to hangout and enjoy yourself as well as a great view of the vineyard.
Ashley helped us and she was AMAZING! She let us take our time and enjoy, and then walked us around the beautiful winery! Can't say enough good things about the experience.
We made our reservation for wine tasting for our party a few days ago. Dustin, the estate manager, went above and beyond to take care of everything. It is a beautiful property and live music was wonderful. We will definitely return! Everyone loves their olive oil with basil garlic.
I feel out of place without a polo and loafers here, but their wine is good and the outdoor space is great for a warm sunny day with friends.
Super beautiful, super fun, super friendly! The staff here we're so nice, made us right at home, and taught us about the winery and the wines. Our guy helped us choose wines based on our preferences. There is a wine club, if that's your thing. There is gorgeous outdoor seating. On site is an olive orchard. Tastings of the oil, vinegars, and balsamics are free. Delicious!!! Stop by, you'll be so glad you did!
Wonderful experience here! Had a lovely tasting with Nanci (CPG). She went above and beyond to tell the story of the winery, its history, and the wines. So good!
Awesome experience! Highly recommended if you are interested in learning about the history and wine making while tasting some fabulous wines this is the place! The staff is warm and welcoming not pretentious or snooty like some wineries. I deal with people who take themselves too seriously every day in my profession and that is the last thing I am looking for when I want to taste good wine:)
High pressure sales tactics, average wine, typical high priced tourist trap to avoid.
Absolutely love this place. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. From a price perspective, their wines vs. quality is nearly unmatched. THeir Sauvignon Blanc made me a believer in Sonoma Sauvignon Blancs again.
This place is beautiful! More importantly, the wine was some of the best we ve had, and everyone who helped us was terrific. Can t wait to go back soon.
Great wine and food pairings! Lots of laughs! AmaZing views!!!
Wine tasting experience was fantastic. Justin was our wine expert. We also got a tour of the winery and brief info about harvest and wine making. Favorite wine was the Chardonnay and the Merlot. I also think their balsamic vinegar was great
Spent the day here for the Sonoma Harvest Festival. Great venue...beautiful scenery and grounds.
New covered outdoor event space was great but a better plan for the heat and sun needs to be put in place. Maybe better placement of the tables and some pull down shades would help. The service was excellent but I was a little disappointed with the food. Presentation was good but portions were a bit small and some of the flavors were too unusual and not for everyone. Wine selections and pairings worked well but a dessert wine tasting would have been nice. You should add some BR Cohn Carmel sauces to the tables for dessert.
Great wine experience. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Great wines, beautiful grounds. Amazing views of the surrounding vineyards and hills. Loved seeing the Doobie Brothers pictures and gold records as well. Highly recommended.
We went to Sonoma/Napa last week. B.R. Cohn was our first stop because we fell in love with their Silver Label Cabernet Sauvignon. Beautiful grounds. Sonoma and Napa vineyards are very different when it comes to the culture and atmosphere. You will also here this from the people who work at the vineyards. I was expecting a little bit more from this winery from the tour & tasting experience. We had a simple one-on-one tour (because we were the only ones there), but I guess I was expecting more. Also, I think they could do a better job at their olive oil tasting. They just have their olive oils set up in the gift store, and you go and taste it if you want. I think they could maybe do a table seating for the olive oil tasting, and go through the tasting descriptions like they do the wine tasting. I'm saying this because their olive oils were great! We brought home the balsamic vinegar and the California olive oil.
I had a wonderful visit great customer service the young lady Ashley that helped me was awesome I would recommend this Winery to all my friends
This winery is a lot of fun. They have events all the time and the wine is good. You can sit inside and taste or buy a glass and sit on the patio and enjoy the music.
I came to B.R Cohen a little while ago with some friends and was really pleased with the level of service provided to us. Unfamiliar with the variety of wine in California, Reed helped us select a bottle fit to our expectation and an olive oil to pair with when cooking at home. I definitely plan on coming back to B.R Cohen with my family when I m back in the area!
The BR Cohn winery is paradise in Glen Ellen. The grounds are beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The wine tasting was a stroll through the vineyards, guided by knowledgeable and engaging staff. I am looking forward my return visit.
Amazing venue. Very easy to navigate due to organized set-up. Would definitely recommend!
What a BEAUTIFUL place for a wedding!
Location was perfect and wine was very very good!
Lunch on the patio was great. Our server was very attentive and gave us an example of foods that would go with each wine. Much appreciated. We will be back.
Reed was very pleasant to talk with. He was informative about the winery and got us to join the club. Reed also made a grwat recommendation for lunch.. Thanks...best quiches ever.
Just had a wonderful wine tasting experience at B.R. Cohn Winery. Luke was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. Louie was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of. The wine was very good and I will definitely be buying a couple of bottles, especially of the 2016 Sonoma Zinfandel, and I look forward to coming back again and heading more live music while enjoying a tasting.
Ashely is absolutely delightful. She made my birthday so special and I was so lucky to have her as my server.
The atmosphere was just as wonderful as the wine! Plus the staff is the best we ve encountered. Amber served us and made the whole stay feel special!
We had a terrific visit to their tasting room and enjoyed their wines immensely. Great staff, delicious wines.
Loved this winery and the beautiful property. Reed helped us with the tastings and in purchasing several wines. They were great. We especially enjoyed the Cab and Zin. We also purchased Meyer lemon olive oil which was amazing. Can t wait to go back!
Love this winery. We are members and come every time we are in the area. Don't miss the olive oil shop. The harvest music fest is also worth experiencing.
Great service as well as wine. Located in Beautiful Sonoma Valley. Olive oil is pretty good too, would recommend the basil and garlic. Tasty!
Although the vineyard seems to have stepped back from wine production compared to my last visit a few years ago and is focusing on being an entertainment venue, it is still a nice place to visit. I enjoyed the tasting and our host Luke was extremely helpful and pleasant to be around.
I am having some problems and I need help. My dad had the same problems that I have now and somehow got the listing for BR Cohn Winery in the early-mid 90s. I am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers also. I am experiencing a difficulty in rejection and yet I need to reach out for help. I am tired of the attitudes going around today. I have a significant problem and need help because I am being jerked around. I have also had the misfortune of being judged in the wrong way by judges and this adversely effected my life. I am going to expose the lousy treatment judges dish out to people they consider unworthy of participating in society. It is difficult to explain all here. I am in the local google tour guide program. I call the secretary of states offices around the USA to get better people on the election ballots, it looks as though I will include myself running for public office. As it seems most people don't care when there is a significant problem in someone else's life. They would rather make small talk incessantly. I actually am an extremely responsible adult as I have been since age 9. I am only seeking out true friendships as Plato points out. Most people in society have completely forgot about how by end of the 1970s people were on course for a better way to live in society. I am surprised at how my mother can't even appreciate Golden Rock. I don't seem to have any other option, I was just looking at my grades and it is obvious that there was some problem with the people who were grading me. Public office does not take this into account. I need to help kids. Adults as a group are out of it. I went to BR Cohn Winery and like to see the vinegars and olive oil across stores across the USA which was a really cool place in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
I came in with a small group and tasting was amazing and our sommelier Reed was totally amazing!!
Great time at BR Cohn! Luke was a fantastic host. Will be back again soon
The day I went it was quite crowded and as a result the staff didn't spend that much time with us. I didn't think any of the wines were very good although it possible my tastebuds were a little worn out.
A very nice setting for afternoon time in the sun. A good wine too.
Dawn took us through the different wines and the backgrounds of each varietal.
Just a great experience.
Ashley was the best !!! Her knowledge of wines is incredibly impressive and she is very friendly and a great host.
We did a tasting here of a delicious sampling. Sommelier John Sheffield provided really amazing friendly and comfortable service. I highly recommend a stop here.
I came in with a large group this weekend. We don't know a ton about wine but wanted to learn and Reed was very patient and gave us very helpful information with a bright twist that most don't give me personally while I'm wine tasting. It was a new and refreshing feeling to be able to learn about the vineyard, the wine, and the history of the place! To top it off the winery was warm and welcoming with great views and an overall perfect experience! Thanks B.R Cohn and thanks Reed.
Wonderful experience, friendly staff, beautiful location and excellent wine!
Gorgeous place to enjoy a glass of wine. Just a beautiful setting to relax listen to music on a sunny day in Sonoma. As well they have amazing olive oils and balsamic vinegars to try in the shop.
Loved this place. The people were great, the location is gorgeous. The wines are good. I will go back next time we are in the area.
$25 for a tasting... instead recommend buying a bottle of wine and asking for a couple tastings before selecting a bottle. Beautiful property but didn't love the wines. Olive oil tasting was nice
Great relaxing outdoor tasting. The wine is good too.
Awesome wines, incredible property! Truly wonderful staff!
Very nice place, would recommend olive oil tasting.
I think ive been here knew of it in the early mid 1990s connection to the DOOBIE BROTHERS
Go in and ask for Justin! He was amazing in talking to us and finding our likes and putting the perfect wines in front of us for tasting. Great winery and wonderful selection. Not to many wines, completely has an identity! Thanks Justin!
Awesome Tasting, Reed and Luke were fantastic with our large group. (40) The wine was pristine and the catered food was perfect. Will definitely be back.
Although this place claims to be dog friendly,
we brought our little dog here and they turned us away from a tasting. One of the owners was happy to have her, but another came back and told us she was not allowed, and made a comment about her breed. We didn t protest - but just left for another winery.
Ashley made our visit perfect, really appreciate such great service!
The wine tasting experience was superb at the B.R. Cohn Winery. I was there with two colleagues with whom I was attending a conference ini San Francisco. We decided to drive up the wine country and happened to find the B. R. Cohn Winery. It was a true epicurean experience as far as wine tasting goes. I heartily recommend the wines, and was glad that we joined their wine shipment service for several years.
Ashley sourek is amazing! Great customer service
She makes me want to try every wine there !
Great place with great wine! Fun events with music and appropriate for kids.
Brought breakfast and enjoyed bottles of some great white wines by the fire pit. Good tasting experience, great property.
We have never been members of a winery before. We loved BR Cohn right away, but became members on our first visit after meeting Luke! There are great wines and beautiful wineries all over the Napa Valley but who wants to visit if the staff and experience aren t good? Luke remembers us every time, pours with just the right amount of conversation, makes each experience here exactly what joined a winery for: a lovely, happy respite! Thanks Luke!
Great wines, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Ask for Steve.
The wine was good, but what I really enjoyed was the beautiful estate, and their side business with specialty vinegars and olive oils. Tasted (and purchased) the best balsamic vinegar I'd ever tasted here.
I loved this winery, and will definitely come back especially because of Reed! He really knew his stuff and made for a great experience.
This place is great for both the wine enthusiast and the olive oil enthusiast! They have a large parking lot and beautiful grounds that include a patio with views for wine tasting at your leisure, and a gift shop with a very large array of olive oils and other treats.
Nice separate wine tasting olive tasting olive oil very nice grounds beautiful
Major disappointment after growing up in the area and going there old school days too bad the owner had to sell out to corporate people that made it so different.
Bought on of the most expensive bottle of Zinfandel, but it was worth every single penny
Wow, what an awesome place to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Delicious wines especially if you are a fan of reds. The grounds are pretty big so it's nice to take a walk around and see the rolling hills. There was also live music which was super fun and livened things up. Love it!
Ashley was fantastic. Taught us a lot about wine. Went way out of her way to spend time with us and answer all our questions.
Lovely setting, knowledgeable and friendly staff, well-executed food and wine pairings. And delectable wines. All around, an excellent experience. Highly recommend it.
Came into town for the Sonoma Harvest Music Festival at BR Cohn winery. Loved the winery - stunningly beautiful location and great wines - what more could you ask for. And thank you to BR Cohn for hosting the festival - truly a great experience. And while we were there, we joined the BR Cohn club so we can continue to enjoy their wines.
Simply EPIC! Hospitality was amazing and the wine was unbelievable... There is also a gourmet shop on the premises which was also fantastic. Highly recommend to B.R. Cohn!
Perfection
Lovely winery in Sonoma valley. Good cabs and chardonnay. Also, locally produced olive oils. Pretty setting. Grab some cheese and crackers from the gift shop and enjoy a glass of wine.
Awesome hostess, terrific wines (especially the reds). Wonderful views and gelato to boot!!!
Great tasting experience with Stephanie. She helped educated us on the different varieties and we left with a few bottles since your tasting fee is wavied that way. Would go again for sure.
This is a beautiful winery! Great place to taste wine and grab some lunch.
Carrying on the Cohn brother's tradition of hospitality
Our experience at BR Cohn was perfect, made even more so by Reed! He was fantastic in explaining all of the amazing wines and showing us around the beautiful vineyards!
Definitely a must see/do on the Sonoma wine list!
