B&R Coffee House Review

My favorite place in fed way for coffee and waffles.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Great coffee (better than that big coffee chain) and yummy food. Love their painting classes too!

Nice baristas, sandwiches made to order, awesome baked treats and a chocolate foam flower. What more could you want? Gelato! Yes, they have gelato, too!

Good coffee, great breakfast sandwiches, and they always give my dog a special treat and some pets.

Coffee is the best!, and the Gelato and pastries are tasty. Great space for meeting, and community atmosphere. Owners and staff are awesome with customers, and give great service. Even if I move from the are, I will seek to come back for B&R

I have been waiting for over 10 minutes In the drive through for someone to help me. This place is a joke I'd have better luck getting coffee somewhere else. Dont waste your time or money here they dont care about the cutomers. Id post a video or picture yo ptove my wait time is longer then needed to be, after 15 minutes of sitting I was finally able to place my order.

Super smooth coffee, friendly staff and atmosphere, yummy spinach wrap, bagel sandwiches, croissants, and waffles!!!

This has been my go to place since shortly after they opened. I consistently get a great drink, and the salads and sandwiches are delicious. The owner, Rushell (sp??) puts a lot of time, creativity, and passion into her business. Some days, I just like to be there for conversation and the feeling of community. Thanks guys!

I really like the owner she's kind but the place is really hit or miss depending upon whose working. The coffee is not consistent and sometimes they lock up early. The vibe is downright awkward at times and I'm a very friendly person.

Black Ice Latte is the very best you'll ever have in a coffee with R&R Espresso Bar. I promise!

I'm from Melbourne, Australia, land of great coffee so I am spoiled. I have to say I've been in America for five months and I have to say this is the worse coffee I've had. It's very burnt.

First time entering establishment! Was pleasantly surprised at how much room there is towards the back to sit and relax. I was with a group of 7 and we all found comfy seating. The Americano I had was well made and the ham n cheese croissant was delish!

Go here all the time on way to work. Love supporting local. However, they open at 6a all signs showed open but door was locked a 6:50a today. Super disappointed! Waited 5 minutes because another customer said they might be in restroom. To bad they lost 4 customer due to door being locked. Rethinking my morning stop.

Only drive thru is open. Thought maybe chairs and tables would be set up outside but not yet. We had walked there.

It's a warm environment. The owner is just so sweet and nice.

B&R is a great space. If you need to have a meeting, spread out to study or gather a group - this could be your spot. In addition to the initial area that has seating for about 15 people, there is a great second room with a gas fireplace and room for a group.
The coffee is good, and many types of drinks are available. There is a nice, limited selection of simple foods at reasonable prices. I had a breakfast sandwich when I visited - scrambled egg, cheese, & sausage on a bagel made to order for less than $5. Not fancy, but hit the spot.

A true neighborhood coffeehouse. They have excellent sandwiches, pastries, breakfast sandwiches and made-to-order waffles, wine and beer. They sponsor painting classes and ate extremely active in community events. The is owners and the Baristas are super friendly and accommodating. I have been coming here for almost 3 years while caregiving for my Dad. I love it.

I love coming in here! Everyone is so nice and friendly, especially when I ask questions that they probably answer 20 times a day. The coffee is delicious, as well as the gelato, and I will continue to come back and try many more items on the menu!

It is unfortunate that not many people stop by here more often. Their drip coffee dark roast is good quality, smooth with some tangy aftertaste. This is without any sugar, I always go black.

I chatted up the barista and discovered their beans are from Brazil and their roaster is local in Ballard. They also sell white coffee for .75c a shot! I will definitely be a repeat customer when the time is right. It's too bad their location is in a bad location for convenient foot traffic.

Give them a chance! They have a good atmosphere and classy cafe decor.

Went here after going to the Smoke Shop adjacent to this place. Was impressed. Will make a trip back there in the future when in the area.

I feel bad for writing a bad review, but our coffee's were cold. We stopped because we were cold and just wanted to warm up and we like to support local coffee shops in areas, so that Starbucks doesn't get all the money. Try them and hopefully they will be better for you!

Did not have a good experience. Machine would not accept my depit card order was totally wrong and cold. Did not find the atmosphere friendly at all.

Great local coffee shop. Good coffee, good breakfast. Great place to just sit and relax, enjoy the coffee and breakfast. Waffles are terrific. They recently expanded providing more seating, and a more cozy feel. Games and puzzles, and books available. Good hangout spot on a Saturday morning.

Food and coffee was amazing! It's a great quiet spot and 10/10! Better than many of the small coffee places I've been to in the area.

Great little coffee shop with friendly, fast service, good coffee, and a cozy interior. Plenty of room to sit if you plan to come and stay awhile. If you are looking for table space, however, there aren't a lot of big tables. Comfy couches and chairs though and their are several hard surfaces too.

This place never disappoints. Family owned. Customers are 90+% local. Since summer 2018 they've expanded into the back of building. More casual and relaxed group seating.
