AWESOME Golf course with country feel and exceptional views. Peaceful and relaxing to play. Beauty of the course shows with each unique hole- some requiring smart, precise placement, while others allow for aggressive, long shots. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. The lodge is rustic with a great view of the challenging par five, 18. Bar with drinks and snacks, grill active at certain times. There is a banquet hall to host larger events. The staff is top notch and very professional with a driving range and pro on-site. Excellent golf course!

It has a nice layout and the man working the pro shop was very nice when we first got there. Then it fell apart. Apparently they let people start wherever they want. I had three to six carts of kids (probably from surrounding houses) jump in front of us while we were making the turn. Mind you they were just letting people tee off on the 10th hole and do whatever they want. There should have only been a foursome in front of us but wound up with three other groups of kids going back and forth across fairways. The greens were in decent shape and very challenging but the rest of the course was in poor shape and seemed neglected!!! Drive the extra hour and go play wildhorse!!! Somewhat disappointed.

The people that talk negatively about this course just probably suck at Golf. I personally like this course as much as Wild Horse and when I played it last summer greens were fine. Would like to see them faster!! Great view from clubhouse and Director of Golf and Teaching Pro do great job!! View from clubhouse is SPECTACULAR!!

Excellent course that s a good representation of links style! Fairways were in pristine condition as well as the tee boxes. The gentlemen behind the counter let me know ahead of time that they had just aerated the greens and discounted my price without me even asking! And I shot my first ever hole in one on the par 3 15th! I will certainly be back to this course every time I m in the area!

Great golf course. I've played several different golf courses. This was one of the best. Fairways were like carpet. Greens were great to put on. A lot of undulations, but a lot of fun. Will being going back.

Assistant pro was the rudest person I ve ever encountered working at a golf course in 25+ years playing golf.
Threw a hissy fit to us about taking 3 carts because we wanted to keep our distance; we were all from out of town and no one mentioned a word about it when we checked in separately. Made it seem like there was a dire shortage Carts don t grow on trees . There were at least a dozen other available carts when we tees of at 3:10 and when we finished there were upwards of 20. He wanted to get in a fight but we bit our tongues and acted like adults unlike him.
Course was fine. Good conditions but way softer than it looks. Bunker surrounds are entirely too penal. The bunker is the penalty, you shouldn t lose a ball in the surround. Greens are extreme but don t run fast enough to take advantage of the slopes and 80% of the huge surfaces are unpinnable and don t come into play.
Drive an hour further west and play Wild Horse. 10x better course and no one will treat you like a little kid who acted out.

This is a great change of pace course but at the same time seems confused by its own identity. It looks like a links course from the tee box and sand traps but it plays like a municipal course. Very soft course with slow greens. It is nearly impossible to miss the fairways, some are 150 yds wide. The green complexes are undulating but some border on comical, example 17's halfpipe green. Overall it is a solid course but not on the same level as wild Horse or the Sandhills.

Love the course layout! It's Very unique. I have golfed it a couple times I thought it played better in the fall when things were a little greener. The only reason I did not give it 5 was the green fees are a little steep for a week day, and every once in awhile the greens get covered in a light dusting from the cart paths, and the practice greens were unplayable last time I was there all and all I would still recommend this course to anyone looking for a good golf experience

This is a spectacular course that makes one truly feel as if you are playing in Ireland at an Open championship. The course is very challenging but very fair. The greens, fairways, & boxes are in great shape. The different tees allow for success for multiple ability levels. I would recommend this course to all of my friends & make them invite me to play as well!

The course if a great place to play. The staff is friendly and willing to help you out. The little course book that they give you is a big help while playing the course. I know I will play this course again.

Reasonable fees, great staff, very fun links course with some visually challenging tee shots to massive fairways. Bent grass tee to green with huge green complexes that require you to be hitting the appropriate level to avoid a 3 jack. Easy walk, hit it in the waste bunkers and good luck!
