Great coffee, spacious seating, and friendliest staff. Open everyday, which is amazing.
Decent spot to work: They allow laptops anywhere but no WiFi (they experimented with the right mix before landing on that policy), a few AC outlets throughout.
Tasty food menu including gluten free bagels/breads, great salads, sandwiches, and avocado toasts. Tip. the. Staff.

Vegan perspective: Nice that they have soy and almond milk for coffee drinks. Vegan donuts were sold out by 9:30am on a Friday unfortunately. Humus and avocado bagel was tasty, but a little pricy. Atmosphere was comfortable.
My friends & I checked out this cafe in the early afternoon. There was no line and although the cafe was fairly populated, their was plenty of seating. Awaken is a pretty large space with the bar occupying one side and tables of mostly 2-4 in the other half. The decor is dark wood, but plenty bright to do work. One drawback if you're looking to camp out and study/work is that there is no Wi-Fi available - you'll have to go unplugged or have your own hotspot. Otherwise, it's the perfect environment to meet up with someone or try out with friends. The bathroom or "W.C." as the cafe dubs it in very UK-fashion, is a gender-neutral single room that is okay in terms of cleanliness, but a bit dimly lit w/ no mirror.
Drinks/Food (prices all "for here"): * Hot Latte w/ Soy Milk ($4.75): There was no extra charge for the milk sub. Unfortunately they were out of oat milk, so I decided on soy instead. The latte was lovely, w/ great latte art & taste. * Iced Latte ($4.75): Standard latte, a bit on the acidic side but nothing overpowering. It could've been creamier or less ice, but you get your money's worth. * Iced Americano ($3.25): Also good! * Acme Toast w/ Organic Butter & Frog Hollow Jam ($5.25): Definitely quality bread and quality spreads! The jam was sweet & tangy. It was nice b/c they also included a couple of pickles on the side as well.
Overall, a very pleasant experience, and somewhere I would repeat visit if I had a good book I wanted to make progress in or meet up with a friend/colleague in the area.
I was looking for a good breakfast option when I came across this hidden gem. I'm a vegetarian, but there were plenty of healthy choices for me as well. The service is courteous and prompt. Our meals were both delicious, hot, and of excellent quality. The tea and coffee were both of excellent quality. This is a place we'll visit again soon.
The treats here are pretty good but pricy. We came here one weekend and got the avocado toast, toast with jam and a latte and paid about $20 with tip added to that. It's pretty pricy when you think about how the food is more of a snack and not necessarily a meal.
The avocado toast was very tasty with fresh and perfectly ripe avocados while the olives that came with it was pretty salty. The toast is also pretty good and paired well with the fresh jam and fruit. All of it worked out well but again at that price of over $20, this place is more on the pricier side.
However, there is plenty of seating and it's a good place to meet someone in the weekend since it doesn't get *too* crowded or loud with plenty of open air to have a conversation.
Cool coffee shop! Immediately when you enter your immersed in the awesome vibe. Awaken has a ton of table and bar seating. The menu consists of coffee, espresso drinks, cold brew, breakfast food, lunch food, and beer.
The service is friendly and professional. My only wish is they add eggs. I d love an egg bagel sandwich!
The toast came with high quality butter (albeit frozen) and great jam. The bread was fresh sliced.
