Service was fantastic! Appetizer was fantastic! Pizza was beyond fantastic!!! Why we never stopped here before is killing us. We will be back again more often now that we know. Our server was amazing. I asked for a lot of lemons in my water and she brought me 2 waters and a bunch of lemons! She also was very responsive with our very shy daughter. I cannot say anything bad about our experience.
Love their pizza. The desserts are also great. They have some really good specialty pizzas. I had the tiramisu and it was fabulous.
Just moved to area 2 months ago. Have eaten here 6 times already. Love their Spaghetti and Meatballs. Best meatballs I have ever eaten. Service was excellent and timely. Obviously we will be back soon!
We go to the one in Warrendale. The food is always great. We really enjoy the pizza and several of the appetizers. The service is always great and the workers are really friendly. We will dine in with our three small children and the wait staff could not be more helpful and friendly to us and the kids. If you're going to spend your money on a meal out, you just want good food and to be treated kindly. You get that and more at Aviva.
The wait times can be a little long, but this is easily one of the top 2 or 3 pizza shops (and more) in the North Hills...dare I say Pittsburgh. The meatballs are top-shelf and the wedding soup is among the best I've had in my life. I'm quite a persnickety home cook and I don't leave restaurant reviews often, but Aviva is that good.
Very good service and variety on the menu. Had spinach pizza. It was average in taste; I've had better. Will try a different item next time.
Great food and drinks! I would highly recommend the stuffed hot peppers as an appetizer and any of the pizza of course. The crust is a fantastic flavor and comes out nice and crispy. Also, their gnocchi is homemade and is out of this world. Definitely worth the visit! And, their lemon and basil martini was just perfect.
Was great had a family of eight and service was great the food very good. Was a great place for Mother's Day Dinner.
Delicious takeout option for those in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. Aviva Brick oven has a really convenient location right on 19. They even have a separate "express" pickup space, with its own entrance dedicated to picking up take out orders.
We indulged in the Vodka sauce pizza with sausage. The meat topping, combined with melty cheese & fresh herbs sprinkled on top made for a truly delicious pizza. I really enjoyed the vodka sauce, as its much more savory and less acidic than a traditional red pizza sauce.
Also enjoyed the ricotta gnocchi and meatballs in red sauce. Tasty and well made, just what you are looking for in a hearty pasta dish.
And now I am craving their pizzas again
One of the best Margherita Pizzas in Pittsburgh, if not the best! Fantastic Ranch too! The FRESH MOZZARELLA on the pizzas & sandwiches really make it. The Regular, the Aviva, the Vodka, and the Bianco pizzas are ALL great too. Chicken florentine sandwich is quite good as well.
