Amazing staff that cares. They understand where I'm coming from because most are in recovery. They're willing to take their time out and actually help. We're not just a paycheck. It's a clean and safe facility. There's good food. It's a lot better than the streets. If you're really serious about it, it will help. I love this place.
Avenues is one of the best jobs I've ever worked for. They're super flexible and Mgt (Whitney Straight) actually cares about her employee's and treats everyone as an equal. Her team consistently meets their goals often exceeding expectations.
This is a great place with a structured environment for recovery. They offer multiple daily group meetings as well as 1on 1 meetings with your personal therapist. I feel like a whole new man just from doing their 30 day program. They have given me the tools and knowledge to help me maintain my sobriety. They even help point you in the right direction after treatment such as NA/AA meetings, halfway houses, Current jobs and temp services, therapy, and furthering your education. Avenues helped dig me out of the grave I was digging myself into and gave me hope.

Coming to Avenues saved me from dying to my addiction. Avenues saved me from losing myself to my mental addiction. It gave me back the love I lost for myself, and the positivity that I had let go of. The group facilitators, therapists, case managers, techs, providers, kitchen workers, even the house keepers were ALL ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Now I have the coping skills and structural habits I so desperately needed to re-gain. Plus is was actually really FUN!! More importantly I left with the LOVING SUPPORT and TRUE CONNECTIONS that will sustain me in my new life. I'll forever be grateful to Avenues!! Thank You so much!!
I'm 59 years old. I've used drugs for 46 years and I have fought my addiction for the last 25 years, unsuccessfully. I have been to 4 previous drug treatments, of which all ended up with me still relapsing. I highly recommend, if you are serious about sobriety, coming to Avenues treatment center. The questions I have had and couldn't answer all these years I was able to get all the information and more on how to dig down inside and fix those thinking errors. I get information from everything that I've been given here. The staff here from day 1 have gone above and beyond to help me answer any questions, provide support and services that I needed. They are truly to help and want to see you succeed. They are not here just for a paycheck. They have truly been a blessing and I have changed my life. I know how to be free of my addiction and be on the winning side of this.
Walking into the front doors of Avenues was the hardest decision I've ever made in my life. However walking out the same doors was like talking the first breath of a new life called Recovery. The Staff truly cared about each individual needs from the BHTs, Group Facilitators, Therapists, all the way to Management. They taught me the coping skills I need to fight my battle with addiction. They also taught me how to focus on my own personal needs so I can break the chain that has held me hostage for so many years.
This place truly saved my life. It helped me in so many ways. I couldn t have done it without anyone there. Their team is extraordinary and truly loves and cares for everyone that walks through their doors. They have a schedule we went by and that helped me with structure. The groups were great and it taught me a lot about my addiction and what recovery was like. We took walks and they even have field trips for the residents there. All the group facilitators kept us entertained with their information and we even played some games in our groups to learn more. At the end of they day we had our processing group. That really helped me process my inner thoughts and what I learned for the day as well as talk and interact with my therapist as well. The weekends were a little different but we did still have groups. I truly miss Avenues. If I could live there I would. I found it to be one of my safe places to recover. If you need a place to go to recover, go to Avenues! Oh, and their food rocks!
I have been to several treatment facilities in my life but for me Avenues was the first that helped me understand my addiction. This place helped me to feel and not run and self medicate. It surrounded me with people who understood what I ve been dealing with. It helped me find my people who are like minded. I was told to let them love me till I could love myself and they did just that. I m four months sober, clean and still recovering today. I could not have made it this far without everyone at avenues supporting me . The love here was real .I have a family that I ve now gained because of them. I m grateful for Avenues I m so many ways. I m grateful to be alive.
Great place! I love that they keep us all safe by providing vaccines for free! Staff are fantastic and the counselors really care. Can t ask for a better place!!
