Avectus Healthcare Solutions Review

I was in an accident a year ago and the hospital told me this company would take care of everything with the other person's car insurance so the process would be worry free, WRONG!! I didn't hear from them until now and I had to continually call and fight with the other person's insurance. Now, this company calls and I find out they only supplied a portion of my bills from my treatment to the other insurance company, which apparently was the portion I still owed to the doctors, not the full amount I was billed. So, I had no clue I still owed money and they called me asking if I was going to making a payment to them for the bills, no explanation first, just asking for money. I explain to the phone rep that I have no documentation of owing that doctor money and they state that's because they were still working with the insurance so no bills were sent. If you know I have no documentation, and I haven't been told of said bills because this is the first time you're calling me, why would I know that a payment is owed???? I have asked for documentation to be mailed to me because I find it hard to believe that after my car insurance and my health insurance paid that doctor that there is still an amount owed. Oh, yeah, and it's been several MONTHS since we settled with the other car insurance and now you call asking for payment???? What a joke! Do yourself a favor and just hire a lawyer anytime you're in a car accident, even if it's not a life changing accident.

BEWARE: This company is trying to collect balances which are NOT owed. They are sending letters out to patients requesting payment even while the bill is outstanding with an insurance company. They are not applying contractual reductions and are attempting to collect balances which are NOT OWED. BE VERY CAREFUL. MAKE SURE YOU CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY TO FIND OUT YOUR ACTUAL RESPONSIBILITY BEFORE PAYING THEM A PENNY.

This is a scam. Beware, they get information somehow from a car accident and then try to scam you for money

I worked for them for almost 5 months. My Dad got sick and was in the hospital for 2 weeks. I let my supervisor know everyday that I wouldn't be there. They still fired me. They said I was a no call no show for 3 days.

Avectus called me trying to collect a $10,000 bill that I never received or even knew anything about. When I call the hospital to try to figure out what is going on, the hospital has no record of me owing a bill such as this. They connect me back to an Avectus rep. I question why a bill was never mailed to me and how 2 x rays could cost $10,000? When tell the rep that I am going to contact TN Consumer Affairs about this, she then tells me that after looking into it, my medical insurance had already paid the bill, and I only owed $1,000.
How is this legal?? They were very rude and tried to come across as a collection agency (which they're not), trying to scare me into giving them money that is not owed! I am turning this incident over to the TN Consumer Affairs for investigation.
