Rooms were nice, heated pool & spa. Volley ball court on sand, shuffle board and some great bartenders by the pool. Had a great time

A hidden gem...fantastic customer service! Great employees. Clean rooms and includes all the essential. Nice pool area nice bar and overall great budget friendly place to stay.

Firstly the lift broke down and when you ring for help the intercom says no connection the heat in the lift is in real after waiting a while the intercom said help is on the way but honestly my credit card is my concern how can you take money out of it a month after we are home? 569.32?

Great location with friendly staff. Rooms are clean and modern looking.

I took my fiance here for her birthday, and it was such a disappointment. After two day's we had to beg for room service. The housekeeper's didn't even knock to see if we needed anything. Service here is really bad. I wouldn't go back or recommend this place to anyone.

I went last week and as always the attention and everything super clean .. this time we stayed in a room with a jacuzzi and the best we loved it .. and what can I say about the pizza and the quesadillas .. and the best of all were the chicken wing .. I want to thank Luis, the director of housekeping, maria pereira and the housekeping who cleaned the bathroom, everything was impeccable .. and needless to say, the bathroom amenities are delicious .. thanks for everything ..

I loved the hotel it's extremely chic and modern not to mention inexpensive my husband and I rented a room last weekend for a mini vacation, it was absolutely comfortable and spacious. We didn't get a chance to lounge around the pool and relax because we went to Disney theme parks (not far at all might I add), but did get chance to take a peek and it was beautiful. The only down is that you can hear people when they make noise in the room and if they walk by, but overall we will definitely go back very soon when we do our trip to universal. =)

I just left from this hotel, we were there for the weekend. It s in a great location near everything on I-drive and the pool is great and of course the price BUT the rooms are sooo outdated. It had ants and grasshoppers in the bathroom. The bathroom door didn t work and it was about to fall off and in general the stuff in the rooms there seem old. So if you want a really nice room to enjoy this ain t it other than that go for it. But I won t only because if I pay for a room I want a nice one.

We didn't end up staying here, wasn't my cup of tea however if you are looking for a reasonable place to stay and party this is place for you. Friendly staff, they gave me a refund after checking in to the hotel. I wouldn't recommend staying here with kids. Mainly a party hotel.

They told me when I left my bill was paid in full. Then two months later they billed my card for more money. Manager said he would refund my card but never did. I had to open a dispute with credit card company.

It's old, so expect that something may not work properly. If you don't mind that, it's lower priced than others

45 min check in wait time in the lobby while 2 ladies were assisting the same 2 customers, chatting it up. Started with no one behind me in line, and by the time I got to my turn, there were 12 people behind me in line. My check in was fast, like it should have been, less than 5 minutes tops.

The lobby was nice, poor customer service. The rooms were run down and smelled like mildew. Air conditioning units were in each room under the windows. Front doors didn't have any weather stripping, so you could clearly hear and see everything outside.

Poor maintenance within rooms, stains on sheets, disgusting yellow tub that we could not use. Fridge missing a leg, and shelf around it unsteady. Remote didn't work for TV.

Cars honking for long durations and loudly in parking lot at 2am. People loudly hanging out on walkways outside of room.not conducive to sleep or for families with young children.

Stayed for free as part of a promotion we did. Wasn't bad but wasn't great. Could have been a little cleaner and neater. I would put this in a decent motel category. Great location for the parks. If you can stay here on a low budget then it's an okay option.

Really bad room service, pretend they can't speak English so they don't have to answer questions or complaints!! Had to ASK for toilet roll and towels!! no tui rep to be seen and couldn't get hold of them.

My husband and i use to stay at this "resort" when it was under different ownership and it was great . this past weekend when we stayed there our room was FILTHY. When i went to the front desk (since no one would answer the front desk phone) i was then yelled at my the overwhelmed front desk woman that when their cleaners have time they will come to the room. they never came. It has really began to become run down and i will not be returning.

The location is great so is the pool. But the customer service sucks we waited four hours for some towels and soaps because they forgot to leave us that when they cleaned the room. I had spiders and some small bugs in the towels. And when I woke up in the morning i walked into a spider web and got a spider on me. I don't think I'd return again.

I really enjoyed our stay their and it has great staff. Big shoutout to Josh behind the desk. The guy is sharp, smart, incredible demeanor and loved interacting with him. Hans helped us out also with a huge booking error (not on hotels part) thank you both and rest of staff their. Great place and great stay.

Place was dirty, no chair in the room only bed, desk, and closet oh and a humidifier that is very noisy. Had to ask for towels each night we stayed and was told to wait in room someone would bring them, once they did and once they did not so the next night I refused to leave front desk without my towels. No cleaning of rooms during your stay due to COVID with that being said they she be really clean when you check in but that is not the case. My feet turned black walking from shower to the bed. Furniture was sticky had to clean them myself as soon as I got in the room. Big disappointment DO NOT book this hotel it is not a resort!!!

Honestly I don t know why this hotel has so many bad reviews, my experience was great. The staff is really friendly, room service is exceptional and the drinks by the bar are to die for. The hotel is really close to everything from the parks to dinning areas. Can t wait for my next visit. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel has a really nice pool area and its close to destinations in Orlando. The cafe is also much more reasonably priced than most restaurants in hotels

This place has inaccurate information given over the phone. I called and asked to speak to a manger or supervisor and I then spoke to a woman who told me I did not have to be 21 years old to check into this resort. Mind you when I walked in to check in it was gloomy and the man that I later on spoked to at the front desk who is a supervisor was mumbling and cursing under his breath at a guest that he had just dealt with. No professionalism and they refunded me my money and sent me on my way without offering me any help to find a place to stay tonight now that I had just driven from south Florida to get here and it s not a short drive home. Happy anniversary to me. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The room itself left something to be desired. I felt like I was back in a college dorm. The air conditioning was duct taped together and squeaked every time it stopped, one of the lights flickered so I had to sleep with the light on since it was driving me crazy. Bathroom fixtures were rusty and the drain in the tub was broken.

Everything was just like it was pictured on the websites. The pool area was beautiful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was accommodating. The only downside was that the pool was loud well after midnight and can be heard from most rooms.

I am really confused about why this hotel has such low ratings. I am very picky when it comes to choosing a hotel and despite the ratings I decided to give it a try. Thankfully, I did! I truly enjoyed my visit! The room was immaculate! I love the wooden floors vs carpeting because it just feels and looks cleaner. And the room just looked nice, very modern. The staff was friendly. Love that they have a bar and grill near the pool. Love that they have free shuttle service to the Universal Studio parks. The hotel is within walking distance from several restaurants, shops, and eateries. The nightly rate was also considerably cheaper than most hotels in the same area. The only thing I was not satisfied with was the fact that they didn't tell me the shuttle also stops at other hotels to pick up and drop off guests (so you want to factor that into your planning) .Also, they didn't tell me you have to make a reservation 24 hours in advance to use the shuttle service. It was written on a flyer they gave me but a verbal notice would have been so much more helpful. Other than that, I loved my stay here! I recommend it!

Keep coming back to this place. Lovely hotel, great location right on International drive. Would recommend this to everyone. And the pool area is the best.

Stayed here for a school event. Food, bar, pool onsite. Simple accommodations that are still nice. We ll be back

I was really disappointed with this "hotel." My fiance & I call this the CATFISH HOTEL. The pictures are SO deceiving. This is not a HOTEL it's MOTEL. I got the "king suite" with a jacuzzi tub. The tub was dirty, the jets didn't work had to call maintenance to fix it. All the furniture was chipped, and worn. They didn't even have blankets on the bed. It was like a sheet blanket. It really seemed promising from the pictures, but it was pretty much like staying at a motel 6. Also when I called the front desk to ask for water, they couldn't even provide bottled water. I won't stay here again.

Nice resort. Price wasn't bad at all and a great location. Be happy to go back in the future.

Brilliantly located on International Drive. Shuttle to Disney's Epcot everyday. Comfy beds too!

When you first walk into the hotel it looks very nice and beautiful and then when you sit down while the other person waits and a very long line to check in as the hope that's a very poorly setup. need to do a new system word processing and check out time is a lot fasterknow when you're sitting down and you're looking when you see the Starbucks and start noticing everything you notice that the furniture somebody can use a simple touch up marker to just fill in all them little spots that make the furniture look old and abused you look at the beautiful carpet they have they could invest into a rug Doctor that can shampoo all the stains out of there you look at the beautiful or they have they can have somebody that cleans it at least every 4-5 hours as it is pretty filthy when you actually look at it then you start to think how is the rest of this placenot expecting that they have five buildings were in building for room 4127 you walk into the room in immediately you feel very hot and a lot of humidity so you do what anybody else to do with turn on the AC you go back to the car you start looking around and start seeing a lot of damage on the outside of the building simple things that could be easily repaired and that gives a sign that nobody pays attention or that they don't invest money into their own property to maintain it and this is a very busy place southern bring your stuff in we go to the pool expecting that when we get back I'll be nice and cool but now it's still very hot and humid so you call them they come they say all the AC needs to be restarted that the compressor wasn't working which was a lie but we gave them the benefit of the doubt never cool down then we need to have a humidifier humidifier and 17 minutes later that thing was filled I had a dump it but not only was a field it was pouring out hot air against the AC that does not cool down so the room was even hotter now at this point very filthy everything in there was dirty and I started to take pictures look like blood spots on the bathroom wall there was boogers old dried-up black boogers on the bathroom door from when somebody was sitting down on the toilet it just felt like you could get really sick or disease in therethe sleep was very very uncomfortable kept waking up like every hour and very tired and exhausted the humidity the heat I had to wake up in the middle of light just turned a humidifier on for 17 minutes to fill up again it is a strong amenity we had cardboard paper in there and are you in our papers or documents and everything was moist and very soft so I had to be very careful to put it to dry to save it overall it was a very bad experience our sheets when we got there where wet from the humidity they need to upgrade the buildings with central air the number one thing upgrade inside interior them bathrooms are tiny instead of making just one wall and expanding a whole bathroom and put in a smaller sink and moving a toiletso now I'm the only benefits to this as they have a Starbucks they have a pool and they have little convenience store do not recommend the pizza at all not worth the money those are the positives overall would not recommend this place absolutely not not to nobody they need to invest money into their own buildings as they make tons of money cuz this place is pretty much booked out from people that don't know any better and only reason why is because of its location people don't know anybody to come here and travel for tourism now check out time actually takes longer then check in time why is that why is there system very slow they have a very slow pour system of things. DO NOT GO HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS THE ROOMS ARE DISGUSTING.

Decent for the price. But had I of known the pics don t represent the real thing, I would have gone else where.. just Expected it to be a little better up keep as far as the room goes; don t seem to be thoroughly cleaned; a lot of dust everywhere, only one towel available, sticky floor. Personally wouldn t stay here again. The staff at the front were fantastic as far as quick and easy check in. Polite. But Id take cleanliness over politeness.

Ask for a newly renovated room. They are working on them in sections. Big difference. The newly renovated rooms are exceptionally nice

Very cool resort. Bar tender at the pool was awesome. The rooms are very nice. The location rocks, you are right in the middle of all the fun.

Room was dirty and the housekeeper was rude. There was a 1.5 hour wait to check in. The toilet was clogged upon arrival. Children ran up and down the outside walkway until 2 or 3 in the morning and there was marijuana smell down almost every breeze way. The ice maker was broken and the grill staff and had attitude about getting me ice and I waited for a while for the bartender to get ice she never acknowledged I was there. We had an issue on the second day and management was very friendly and acted swiftly ( only reason for the second star). We stayed here a few years ago and it was at least 4 stars for a lower price point hotel. It's obvious the owners are not investing in up keep. Our towels smelled of old fry grease the list really goes on.

We stayed here for two nights while enjoying Universal for the first time. We had a great time! The staff was friendly and helpful. We were even able to get a scooter and have it delivered there so we could use it all weekend. It was GREAT! The rooms were big and the actually bath area is small but the sink area is large. Plenty of light, great TV reception and wifi. And the food from the cafe was good and not really expensive. They also were able to special make things when needed. Lots of helpful people. The pool areas were clean and the guests were all having a good time. No one was made to feel awkward even in the hot tub! The fitness room was nice and had the things you need for a good work out. The kids loved the arcade. I am looking forward to coming back! And it was close to the miniaturize golf and Friendly's restaurant! GREAT!

Best resort ever...location was perfect....everything was in walking distance

We had a wonderful stay here. I lost my voice the day before and at breakfast the man went out of his way to find me cinnamon tea, honey and lemon to make me feel better. Breakfast was very good and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The staff was very nice. We will definitely stay here again!

Great resort with very friendly staff. I love the hot tub and pool area. The room I stayed in was nice and had a mini fridge and microwave. I would definitely stay here again.

Lived there for 5 years through 2 shifts in management and I'm not going to lie, it was terrible. The apartments themselves are pretty nice but staff is awful! I'm pretty easy going guy but I run my own business so I'm usually busy af and honest to goodness I've never seen an office staff be so negligent and resistant to not only the bare minimum of what it means to have a job but even to provide any sort of positive experience for the tenants. I've lived at a good number of apartments over the years and avante by far has had the lowest quality and most poorly trained staff of all. I mean at least answer the phones. Regardless to say, my contract is up soon and I most definitely will not be renewing. Benefit of the doubt only lasts for so long. My recommendation for anyone reading this....PASS. You can do better

Hotel OK however it is prostitution point and seems to be unsafe

I was fairly skeptical about the price, the $77 a night tag did get me a tad concerned about the place being infested with cockroaches and hookers, but to my delight it turned out to be a damn nice place. Essentially four buildings that at one time appeared to have been a Days Inn (or similar) have been nicely updated and converted into a good quality budget hotel. The pool area is clean and well maintained, the bar though a bit overpriced was decent, the rooms were clean and fresh, no issues with the air conditioning, the safe seemed sturdy, a 24 hour Denny's is conveniently located across the street, and the nearby attractions (Pirate's Cove Mini Golf, Orlando Eye, Madame Tussauds, Orlando Sea Life Aquarium and Skeletons: Museum Of Osteology) are worth a visit. The only criticisms: The coach to the theme parks was not air conditioned and was not on a schedule that wasn't particularly useful for our needs (that said, an Uber to the theme parks never cost me more that $15), and a few more games in the games room would be nice. Overall i'd say it's a good option.

I waited to be served at the front desk for 25 minutes to check in. Upon my arrival to my room, the toilet was very dirty with human waste in it. I called the front desk to change the room, but they wanted to send someone to look at it. Someone came and couldn't fix it, and another person came and still couldn't fix it. I was forced to wait for 1.5 hour in the room until my washroom was cleaned

There was only one frustrated person at the front desk with many people waiting. The resort was great, but those small details made the difference.

Amazing value. Great location, updated modern and clean spacious rooms, super nice bathrooms, friendly staff. There was music at the pool until midnight - buy the rooms as pretty good isolated. Pool area big, clean and resort like.

The location is great but the rooms leave a lot to be desired, honestly that was the only differential, there are extra fees for being a resort but I didn't use any of that, so the parks area would rather stay in a normal resort hotel never again.

The food position is not big as there price for it. The bed are not that comfortable but the hotel is clean in beautiful pool side, clean laundry room for $3 each, text services, front desk business center available to guest to print. Beautiful lobby. Front desk staff is nice in response immediately. Beautiful view of the fair.

Nice and clean, great location to reach the parks and cmq near pizzeria even the good one even if nn like the Italian one. C is the coin-operated laundry. And Starbucks for breakfasts.

Good structure. Clean. Good pool. Average price. No breakfast included.

We stayed here for 3 weeks in May 2015 and had a great time, beds were changed and fresh towel's daily. Its located 5 mins walk from idrive 360 area and pointe orlando, shuttle bus to theme parks is included in the resort fees.

Very satisfied with the staff which is massive for us.
Great location for the price.
Excellent pool.
Mediocre food, but who cares there are a million restaurants around.
Rooms are comfortable with a mini fridge and cable.
Transportation is a breeze just talk to the concierge, they will hook you up with about 10 different coupons for restaurants, malls and pubs/bars.

Overall satisfied with the place and would certainly recommend it.

Room was nice wish it had bigger and thicker blankets on the bed and out closet had hangers but not poll to hang them on...love love the pillows on the bed and the pool and bar

We loved out stay at the Avanti. The staff have been really efficient and polite. If we return to Orlando, The Avanti will definitely be our hotel of choice.

I was shocked when I went to the room assigned to me to discover that it was an adjoining room, with no way to lock the entrance between the 2 rooms. They had a luggage bench pushed up against the door! They were good about immediately switching me to another room, but how could a hotel ever expect someone to stay in an unsecured room like this? Otherwise, the place was fine. It's in a convenient location. The decor is dated and worn.

So let me say all these bad reviews of this joint on here are unfounded. We stayed here 4 days three nights. Room that we had 1102 was very clean, modern and large( two queen beds). Everything worked fine. The dehumidifier is loud and so was mini fridge. But you can turn the knob on back of fridge down a bit so its still cold but not noisy. On the other hand dehumidifier u can only shut it off for an hour long, enough to fall asleep then it auto turns on. Bathroom was small but clean and acceptable. Now for the reason why not 5 stars is simple. Its not a resort. They charge you for a resort but do not offer the amenities of a resort. I.e. pool that is open 24 hours, golf, segway tours, free theme park tickets. The other reason is we booked our room in advance 4 months And paid in full at the time including tax and fees. But when we checked in they wanted 50 dollar security deposit (that i got back) and 13.xx per day in resort fees that pissed me off. You do not get that back. That being said the staff was polite i wouldnt say every one was friendly some were some weren't. But I dont really care If they aren't overly friendly. Actually I prefer it. The room rates were very good. And the pool is very nice. It is a salt water pool and its very warm almost to warm(Imo). I did have a problem with being given a 3rd floor room when I requested 1st floor. But they fixed that upon check in with out me even having to make a scene. The shuttle that comes to take u to theme parks only comes like 4 times they definatley need more pick up and dropooff times. All in all its a great hotel to stay at just not a resort. Oh and P.S. stay away from uno's on international its expenaive as hell and the pizza is pig slop. I know my pie being from chicago,home of Uno's ,Lou Malnottis' ,Giordannos, Nancy stuffed pizza and ,nicks thin crust.

I got a $60-something special for 2 nights. The hotel was okay. You can tell it was upgraded a little. No microwave. They provided ear-plugs because our room faced the I-4 highway. A technician had to come put a chip in our TV so we could access all the channels and our Ironing board was a death trap (LOL) Bed was comfy though. The pool area is pretty nice too. I guess we got what we paid for.

AC did not work well and was not near the bed. Too hot. Seems clean.
