Avanti Hotel Review

This place is horrible. The floors are disgusting. The bed was never cleaned from the last people here. We have been waiting hours for them to send someone to change out the sheets and noone. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I'd rather pay more to be sleeping in a respectable place that I trust has been cleaned. I think my money paid so far should be refunded

Great value for money. Effective and practical room. Kind service. Great location. Mini Starbucks in the lobby with excellent service I did not let the hotel's poor concierge service get in the way. Just get away from it, we came across an unprofessional and dishonest saleswoman. Please note hotel management. We would happily come back.

The resort pictures are not what you get. The bedrooms were horrible. The night we showed up they had only 1 towel and had to go get them the microwave did not work the whole week. The front desk people were nice however the rest sucked. I would honestly recommend checking around. The bath tub was cracked and could not take a bath as for it was nasty. After 2 days I had to call and get more towels because they never came to swap out or pick up any trash.

I love this resort I would highly recommend it.the service is outstanding this is and always will be my hotel of choice and the location is excellent!!!! For the price you can't go wrong

I can t believe I even bothered...the sheets don t like they have been changed and the towels look dirty! Seems like everywhere you look, there s a problem. The sink in the room was clogged, so washing your face or mouth took quadruple amount the time to do. You have to wait till the water drains each time you rinse which took about 10 mins to do each time. What a horrible experience! The only thing appealing about this Resort is the lobby. The rooms should meet beyond expectations but Nooo its the complete opposite.

It s not a resort. The lobby is nice, the service at the counter was nice and this is why I am giving it two stars. The room was far from nice. The bathtub was peeling with paint.

I would have given it 5 stars if it was not for the minor complications which could have been avoided. As many times as I have checked on my hotel booking prior to me being there, I got a completely different response once I got to the hotel. I was told over the phone there was no room deposit because I paid in full. I paid in full on hotwire and apparently I owed $180 dollars for a deposit once I got there. I was very confused and no one was of much help. Besides me feeling like money has been stolen, The pool was beautiful.

Can hear lots going on outside of your window, plain rooms, cheesy beach motel feel. However, they have a really nice pool with a bar, great location and price

Clean and well kept rooms. Easy check in and check out process - I really couldn't have asked for more. Parking on premises was a breeze.

Be delighted with the hotel. the room and bathroom was in excellent condition. the spectacular pool, gym and bar look good. The shift manager was the one who checked in and was very kind. excellent location economic price For sure I will book this hotel again.

Very good service, facilities, friendly staff, cleaning and located in an excellent place. I recommend it and close to everything.

Beautiful hotel nice service clean and no bugs lobby smelt amazing upon arrival only suggestion is put some kind of a lip on shower piece water leaked out bad soaked 2 towels to prevent floor from getting wet and falling

This resort has a beautiful front desk but the rooms are small and the bathrooms are filthy

For the price you can't be avanti...but service is the reason I might not go back.

Where to start, check in was over an hour wait for our room (for 3 guest) which we had already paid. Pull out bed was full of food, fridge is leaking, microwave has no plate. Room service to fix it........ Still waiting and it's now past 10:30. I have an 6 yr old that needs to go to bed. Place is beautiful, rooms not so much.

On the main road so great for restaurants, pool lovely but rooms dark and not very appealing

Standard 2 queen bed room size is ok,but bathroom too small,floors dirty,bleach smells is bad.

3 star hotel which I would say is correct. Although not outdated it could do with a little updating. That said, it's clear and particularly the swimming pool toilets were always spotless.

Food and drinks is pricy, so shop at Walgreens or even better, a supermarket and stock up for your stay.

If you have park tickets there is a free shuttle or alternatively the green busses are free if you speak to the concierge.

Note that all ATM's in Orlando charge 3-6% fee for cash withdrawals no matter your bank or bank card used. This hotel I found had the cheapest at 3%.

So I m going to give my honest review and hopefully this catches the attention of someone looking for a great resort in the heart of IDrive. <br/>Lobby area was VERY nice and the staff was friendly with a smile on their face. <br/>When I check into my room I was surprised with how modern & clean it was. <br/>The pool area was amazing! They have a big pool area ( just like the pictures ) bar, store, game room, gym. <br/>Everyone was great. I have ZERO complaints about My stay here, not to mention I stood 4 nights. This place deserves a lot of credit. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I can t wait to go back.

It was ok for a one night stay good location went to mias for dinner within walking distance family oriented reasonably priced

Pictures over sell it. It feels way more like a motel than a hotel. Shower only a little warm though it was on the hottest setting. I have been in lot better hotels for the same price so I wouldn't come back. Not horrible but I have gotten better rooms for less.

Amazing services. If you lost your key, it will be replaced easily. Close to great restaurants like Shake Shack!

Our opinion of the hotel is terrible.
From the first day, we arrived at the reception and we were very poorly attended, the receptionist was thick and without any patience,
The pool service too., Poor.
Second point cleaning the room, I stayed 9 days and in no day passed if you want a broom on the floor.
There were days when they didn't take out the trash, we ran out of toilet paper and soap, an abuse right!
The towels were also not the cleanest.
Honestly disappointed in this hotel

The resort staff was excellent. Check in and the pool side bar area especially pleasant. The room was ok but not great. I would stay there again for sure.

The location is perfect. The room was huge and pretty clean. We stayed in a premium king suite. Franklin the front office manager checked us in and did an amazing job. We loved it so much we decided to extend our stay. Deng, another front office staff member helped us quickly and efficiently. They were awesome and truly cared, especially in these trying times. We need more people like Franklin and Deng in hospitality!

Ceiling vent hanging down, unable to close bathroom door, no matter what angle what place you put shower head the water leaks out all over the floor. Was given only 2 towels and 1 face cloth. Floors were absolutely disgusting used a face cloth with soap to mop myself as I was informed housekeeping would not clean floors only 1 once every 5 days, the towel came out BLACK. I wish I had taken a photo. I am very ashamed in the customer service and cleanliness of this resort . In addition all signage states 11pm close time of pool but security shut down at 10 pm. Also, to top it off paid for continental breakfast and was not given a voucher.

Excellent location on the International Drive, comfortable rooms and good service.

Our stay was horrible, dirty place nothing like the pictures online. No toilet paper, tubs were dirty with ring around it, had to get own cleaning sippy to clean bathroom. Asked for blankets when we got back to the room the blanket was thrown on the floor in a bag and the toilet paper wasn't even in the bag had to purchase a basic necessity. Run RUN RUN.

Avanti Resort is not a resort. The rooms need to be upgraded to reflect resort style. The rooms felt more 24 hours motel than what one would expect from a resort. The overall feel of the place was just underwhelming. The staff seemed nice.

a disaster. rude, incompetent and outrageous. Suddenly, the room can no longer be entered, because the woman at the front desk has built sh ***. But the customer is wrong and does not get his stuff anymore. never again.

Room not so great as in the photos. But everything was clean and a large pool area is on site. The hotel was recently renovated, some of the rooms are still under construction. (As of: 04/2016) The location is great - right on the International Drive - everything was easy to reach

Great location on I-drive with a range of restaurants and bars just minutes away which can be easily walked to. Good choice of shuttle times to universal, Disney shuttle times more limited.

Block 4 is dated and horrible. Changed room to block 2 and its much better.

Nice hotel. The buildings are older, but have been renovated for a moden touch. The down side is, the walls are paper thin, so you can hear every move your neighbours make. Otherwise our stay was lovely.

Decent rooms and facilities. Minimal amenities and very expensive pool bar. Feels like they are price gouging you on everything.

either way u can't get a better hotel in orlando its near all the restaurants and the orlando eye before it got refurbished it was still a lovely hotel but now it is behove and beyond my exceptions u couldn't ask for a better hotel to be staying at have no concerns and i will be staying then next time i visit the states definitely using this magnificent hotel again thank you Avanti for providing your best service xx

If you bring your own towels, sheets and swifter sweeper mops, you won't be disappointed. On the upside the Latino workers will give you everything you want if you are Latino too, like free coins for the game machines and extra toiletries. Just ask.

Ik love being there, due covid pandamanic,its not possible to come over. Love the rooms,and the pool,and bar.xant wait to make another booking and fly over to Avanti Orlando

Do not come to this hotel it is dirty, the employees treat you rude! the floor is not cleaned there are no towels, for the price it has it is very bad I do not recommend it !! I would like to give it 0 stars

This has been by far the worst experience at a hotel i have had at the a hotel. Be aware they let people in your room without informing you and the management does not follow up with you to let you know hey we just let someone into your room. Even if you specifically say no ones allowed into your room. They re management staff and team are unprofessional and lack education. If you want some new clothes or go through someone else s belongings just go to the front desk they will assist you to the room so you can take what you want. Just give them your ID. I never stayed at such a disorganized hotel. Let me rephrase motel. Resort is not what this dump is. The bad reviews are correct. I don t recommend anyone to stay here.

We were check in by frank. Very professional, polite, and helpful. Excellent customer service.

I got there Sunday afternoon and was not able to get my room cleaned until Tuesday evening only because I called the front desk 4 times that day and they ended up telling that the housekeeping staff was gone for the day and when I told her I hadn t had my room cleaned since Sunday they agreed to come in.
I booked a room with a jacuzzi and it did not work so that was a waste of money. Part of it was broken.
The refrigerator was not cool it was not keeping the food in cold.

Rooms are clean, transport to local theme parks included, several restaurants within walking distance.

Comfortable rooms and good service. Very good cost benefit.

This place is amazing I m really enjoying myself the price was good the people are extra friendly Mr.Deng really took good care of my family and with the rooms REALLY CLEAN must comes again

I recommend everyone to request building 2 facing the pool because the rooms are renovated. A lift is needed in the corridors. The pool is very good and the bars are too! The coffee is standard Starbucks. The cleanliness of the room sins. I recommend leaving a tip for the maid and ask them to clean the floor well, otherwise the most they do is collect the garbage and clean the bed!

Room was ok but It did not have soap and one of the towels was dirty... the attention in the lobby was great. Big pool. Good location..

Great atmosphere for a hotel bar. We really enjoyed ourselves.

After 2 times going to desk because the door would not open took 2 security gaurds to open. Got in room smells like mold. Save your . They even have a dehumidifer under the sink.

We liked it. rooms were ok, complex buildings were ok, little sketchy looking and actually had 3 people drive through and asked us how it was there and if it was a bad enviornment. expkained it was nice and no issues but the "updates" to exterior buildings didnt help much. Bar and pool area were great and we enjoyed it! We would come back, but would also look elsewhere just to see what other options there was.

If I could give less stars I would have. We waited 1.5hrs in line to check in. They didn't know how many rooms they had available or if cleaned or not. Then they assigned a random family to a room that someone else was already sleeping in. This family walked into the room and scared the be-ge-bees out of our female coach that was asleep in the room. Additionally while we were waiting in the car for my wife to check in... we witnessed the maintenance guy back his cart into this black Toyota Camry. He looked at the damage he caused then drove off. This was a total cluster for the entire experience.

ok, if I could give zero stars I would. Let me start by saying I NEVER post reviews, but I feel like I have to. These other reviews are making it seem like this is a nice place. Please listen carefully... it's not. You know that feeling when you go stay at a run down motel 6 in the hood, thats the feeling when you walk into your room. They just tried to "upgrade" it with a decent looking bed and some contemporary looking chair. The baseboards were filthy, the bathtub was digusting, the bathroom itself was so small you could barely fit in it. It was just rundown- thats the best way I can describe it. The best part though, was the floor, it was linoleum! You know its a bad sign when there isn't carpet. I saw a review that said "wood floors throughout" lmao, I died laughing. The lobby is very nice and the pool was decent, but for what you are paying, it is NOT worth it. Do yourself a favor and go to literally ANY other hotel. for 120 a night, to stay in a motel 6 type room, it just doesn't make sense. These reviews and the misleading pictures make you think it's an ok place. Im not sure if our room was way older than others, but it was bad.

Staff was great, location and activities are also a win. Last minute reservation great deal on our stay. Will recommend to family and friends. Thank you guys.

The cleanliness was remarkable. All of the employees were respectful and so nice. We were attended wonderfully by Deng :) The environment is so positive and they give the best of the best. I highly recommend it.

The first room they put us in, had a broken front door. The second room was a complete mess and when we checked out they ended up charging 200 for a fee. When I called to ask what the fee was the staff hung up on my face and have not answered my calls. Completely unprofessional and rude.
