It's shocking that in 2021 most of their menu items have both gluten and soy in them. There's too many other restaurants that offer amazing plant-based food without bad stuff (like soy and gluten). I wish Aux Vivres would update their menu that seems to be stuck in the 90s or early 2000s. Additionally, whenever I have ordered via UberEats one of the few things I can eat from them, they NEVER respect the instructions. Very disappointing.

Delicious vegan food. Definitely better than Copper Branch. They offer tastier and more quality food. The way the ingredients are mixed is done way better than other vegan restos. Worth the price

Is this supposed to be healthy?... don't get me wrong... I love the food but it so salty and the sweets are so sugary that if you eat this once a day you will definitively have health problems.
No matter the kind of sweetener... sugar is sugar is sugar... I just thought they could have made it healthier instead of another commercial fast food...

Amazing food, kind humans, great service. I could eat there everyday of the year.

Edit: Losing 2 stars, they contract with skip the dishes. In turn they hire people who do not deliver their food. Now because of curfew I have to go hungry. Learn who to hire.

I was discriminated against -- refused service and asked to leave like a criminal despite being a long time customer and having done absolutely no wrong.
I kindly advise staff be educated on proper procedures for treating mask exemptions with kindness instead of attacking potential customers and asking for personal, confidential information to be divulged. I even offered to wait for my order outside, to which I was told I couldn't be served :( The only thing cashiers at aux vivres should be doing, is taking orders and ringing them up (isn't that their job ?!), however the current attitude at aux vivres is not only ILLEGAL, but it's traumatic and hurtful... especially from a vegan restaurant that I assumed valued ethics and compassion. I will sadly never eat nor buy AV products again and advise all those who care about equality, personal rights, and mental health to do the same.

I am not Vegan, but my sister is. She took 4 non-vegetarians here and we all really enjoyed the food.

I paid for everyone's meal and appetizers with drinks and the whole thing came to about $150...So about $37.50 each but we're actually had enough food to feed 8 people!

We were overstuffed and nobody could finish their meals.

Let me say that the appetizers were the best! The appetizers here are filling and delicious.

The only thing I generally didn't like here was the fermented tofu appetizers and meals / that stuff must be an acquired taste.

The sauces that came with all of the appetizers were incredibly delicious.

Regarding the meals, the sandwich is MASSIVE so make sure you're extremely hungry before ordering that.

The bowls were just Ok - they were mostly raw, very lightly steamed with no seasoning ... Very plain tasting. Appetizers were much more enjoyable than the bowls.

If you're looking for a vegan option, this is probably the one of the best in the city.

One star removed because the ambiance is bad for groups. Diner-like atmosphere is very loud, hard to converse.

On my way to Quebec city but I changed routes to stop in Montreal and come to this restaurant. I make a point of eating here whenever I m in Montreal. I m not vegan but I eat mostly plant based foods. This place has the yummiest meals ever! Their ingredients are top notch and always fresh. Prices are fair for what you get. Service is great and atmosphere is just perfect. Love everything about this place. I will try to stop by again at the end of my trip.

My favourite vegan food in town. Aux Vivres has a few locations and you ll be happy anywhere you choose. The food is amazing, portions are exactly what you need, piece is very reasonable and the service is always amazing. I have ordered from here countless times and I am never disappointed. ***also like the other location this spot is very LGBTQ friendly
