Autumn View Gardens Review

What a caring community. The staff is great, they keep us informed, and they always have smiles and greetings when I go in. You couldn't ask for a better place for your loved one!

Not good. Really just independent living with a bed check and fire drills.
Gran lived here about a year. Staff changed a lot. Staff did not communicate well.
Would not see to it that she showered or washed her hair, even after doctor's orders, for skin ailment. Family wound up making sure she was showered and salve was applied.
Would not engage her socially.
Finally, Gran got food poisoning. State found Ice Machine malfunction and bad / dangerous food storage practice. (December 2012 inspection public records)
Went to Doctor's office he put her in to hospital for treatment.
She had to go to a nursing home for recovery and rehab.
When she was released from the nursing home we moved her to a new place.
She is doing much better over all now.

While we have opted to keep mom at home as long as possible, this is the first place I'll turn to if her situation changes. Tammy was amazing at answering the many questions of our family,and was beyond helpful with her experience and knowledge of this industry. It is apparent that there is a genuine concern for the residents in their care.

Autumn View Gardens is a terrific facility and one I'd recommend to anyone with a loved one that needs a little extra help. The staff made my dad feel right at home from day one and you can tell that they genuinely care about the residents. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. Fantastic experience!

My father currently lives at Autumn View Gardens. I've appreciated many things about this facility, including the immediate responsiveness and care they have shown when on two separate occasions he became ill. Within the hour of him reporting his illness, they had arranged for mobile diagnostic lab visits and even a mobile chest X-ray for him! This is exactly the reason why we urged him to move to an assisted living facility in the first place. So that he could get the help he needs, in a timely fashion. My siblings and I feel blessed that our dad is here.

We couldn't ask for a better place for my father in law. Everyone is so helpful and caring. He has settled in nicely and loves the food. Thank you for all you do!

We have visited six assisted living communities in the area. This was the only one where we felt truly welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Front desk lady was wonderful and friendly. Tammy who we met with to get information on the place was friendly and very helpful. We were so disappointed that they were not able to take our father because of the kind of catheter he had. Very unfortunate! Would highly recommend people put this place on their list to look at if the need a place for the loved one.

Our mom has Alzheimer's & severe brain damage at a young 69. We took her here as she needed assistance. Autumn view was awesome to my mom & us! Supportive, attentive, & so very caring! She felt somewhat normal & grew great relations w/ staff & residence. Facility very family friendly & our boys loved to visit. Mom recently had to move to a nursing home, but we will forever be grateful to this place!

When you meet this Team of Caregivers you will discover they are the most loving and caring staff you will ever find. When I walked through the building there was one staff member giving hugs to everyone. The Chaplain was visiting and meeting with the residents. I like that1

Autumn View Gardens truly cares about the well being of their residents. The second you walk in the door you are greeted and welcomed by the friendliest staff. The director of sales and marketing, Tammy Bumgarner, has done such an amazing job putting all my family s questions and worries at ease. We were concerned about moving my dad across state lines and finding him a community that fits, but Tammy made it so seamless. She went above and beyond during the COVID-19 shut down to help move my dad into the community and get him adjusted all within the rules and regulations of the CDC. My dad has now lived there 4 months, he seems extremely happy, and I don t have to worry about him one bit! The staff is extremely helpful, welcoming, and friendly. They truly make you feel like family.
