Car recently bought for my birthday from the seller Patrick (nice man). Eventually I drive home and the next day I discover DURING driving that it was a driving lesson car. My sister sat in the passenger seat and stretched her legs, so we braked hard .. DANGEROUS TO LIFE !! This was absolutely not announced at the time of purchase. And when I called about it, a salesperson said that you couldn't do anything with it, also absolutely no solution or apologies for inconvenience. Then I let my cousin call and suddenly you could get it out for free. So I had to take another day off to drive to the garage and wait all day (2 hours round trip). I certainly do not recommend this garage and especially not the seller that I was helped through last time. Absurd how this turned out

Purchased a car with warranty. Turbo broken within the warranty period.
Immediately received a loan car and a revised turbo was installed. Heat shields replaced and placed.
Car drives great again.
Service friendly and decent.

Bought a nice car here. They even replaced the brakes on collection. A month after purchase, the air conditioning turned out not to be cooling. Neatly repaired by Hoge. Just company.

Years ago bought a car .. with new MOT and their turn, came back because the steering wheel was shaking .. they had checked and they felt nothing but still they had replaced everything it could be .. they said .. now again the MOT at another garage .. and car turns out to be life threatening .. thank you for letting me go on the road with it .. now to the demolition.

Two months ago bought a car at this company, during the test drive discovered that the air conditioning did not get cold and reported this to the seller. The seller told me that the air conditioning only had to be topped up, because of the large distance I would have this done at my local garage. Afterwards it appears that the air conditioning pump and condenser are defective. (Expensive repair). Since then, Hoge no longer responds to emails and calls. Unfriendly staff and totally unhelpful, they sell quickly but otherwise they do not give home.

Bad service, warranty until you pay and 90 percent of the cars only damage vehicles. For the people reading this you have been warned, I know plenty of stories from people who have been kicked off by this company.

my son needed a car and was informed by his friends at garage Hoge. We went there one afternoon and were received very hospitable. When we saw a car that was on our side, we could immediately get the key and we got all the time to view the car. My son really liked a Golf and after watching it, we were able to make a test drive. He bought this car and was able to pick up the Golf a week later. After driving for a week, there was a problem with the car, Garage Super solved this problem for him. A Volkswagen Polo found on the site, great car for a good price. There was nothing wrong with it. Good reception by the vendors and even by the person who was putting the cars on the photo. Picked up our car last week. A BMW X5. We have been well helped by the seller Thijmen. He was clear in his story so that we knew exactly what we were buying and what extras had to be paid for. In this price range something could also be done from Hoge himself. That was nice to hear. We quickly came to an agreement. In the period after the purchase and the collection period, Thijmen kept us regularly informed of the progress that had been made. For example, an alarm class 5 with tracking system had to be built and winter tires had to be fitted. Everything done cf. appointment and in a very pleasant way.

Very bad service and no sympathy with the customers at all! Customer is certainly NOT a king here! Because we cannot afford to lose money in one go, because everything went wrong when we applied for a loan for the first time. The story explained to the company that we are waiting for a response from the loan and were not sure whether it could go ahead Looked at the car that we wanted (which has damage that has not been said on the phone). We could already sign a contract on the condition of a loan if it goes ahead, so done. Well, I didn't think it later called that the loan cannot go through and the gentleman on the phone says casually yes, the car is ready to start, so much percent has to be paid, it says on the back in small letters and while we have verbally agreed on pending loan! Antisocial now we can pay the jackpot while we don't have a car.

Do not buy a car here. Very bad company that has no quality and service !! Result: invoice of 2000 because the car is of poor quality.

This year bought a car at Auto High. You will be helped well in the beginning. But the moment you sign it, it's only drama.

Bought a car which would get a service package and the airbag light would be checked and fixed. It was said that the car will be ready in a week. But then it fell silent. No communication from this company at all. You always have to contact yourself and there was absolutely no movement. We were already more than a month further and Auto High was not next door for us. We had to wait for an airbag module. So we picked up the car first.

Then made an appointment for assembly, because yes there was finally movement. We agreed that we would stay in Emmen all day. Result? Sure there was something wrong again so the car was not ready again. Stayed in Emmen all day, which also costs money. Then again made an appointment for assembly. Wow I got a loaner car. Had to pay for the petrol himself (what a service!).

Finally our car was ready. In terms of. Fuel costs and compensation for our day in Emmen I got back 75. Well, I had to live with that. It has caused a lot of stress. Not even for me, but for my wife who was pregnant! Thanks Auto Hoge!

Less than 5 months have passed since the day the car was finally ready and the whole car broke down. Turbo, Egr, particulate filter, oil lines and turbo hose. Cost: 2000. No more warranty so but brought to the garage and Auto Hoge emailed that I think this is very bad that they sell such cars. Response, just send a quote from your garage and we will see how we can meet you appropriately. Will you bring your car to Auto Hoge? Do I have to wait another 2 to 3 months? Will I get another scrapped loan car? No of course not. Have the car repaired within 1 week. Invoice emailed and what is the response: this is not a quotation but an invoice. So unfortunately we cannot do anything for you. I have reported in several emails that the car was at the gagare, parts that I had arranged and paid for myself and that the car is already being made. They knew about it, but still 'we can't help you'.

Before you consider buying a car here, I would first look further at a company that knows the word service and quality. Never no Auto High again for me!

Never buy a car here we bought two cars and traded in a good car. And they would both have gotten a turn and MOT. I took mine back in the afternoon because there was not a drop of oil in it. And when there was oil in it, it leaked like crazy. Within a week, the other was dead on the highway with the front wheel blocked. Both cars will be scrapped within two weeks.
And then you place a review and then your name suddenly does not appear in the customer base no, only if you put a good review, you will get into it.
We have bought several cars there but never again !!!!

October 31, 2019 I bought a Nissan Qashqai and traded in my Renault Scenic from 2003 here at Auto Hoge Emmen.
After reading all the negative reviews here I was not really happy to buy a car here.

They had called the car that I was looking for in the right color arrangement, so that they still had this car.
Very friendly on the phone because I could stop by for a test drive and so on.
Once arrived from Apeldoorn received very friendly and could immediately walk to the coffee maker and then just look in the showroom for all the beauty.

There I suddenly saw by the name and so that I have bought a car with them in the past. This was still in their old building and I had no bad experiences with it. The seller helped me super. Could watch the car at my leisure how long I wanted and even got something back for my car because it was actually worth nothing anymore. For example, at Vaartland cars they didn't even want to trade it in.

3 months best select warranty on the motor gearbox purchased for a super competitive price. Drive back to Apeldoorn was great and a pleasure to drive around in this car. More than half of the car's tank was still full of gasoline, so it didn't have to go straight to a gas station. Of course there were some things on the car here and there such as that the jack was gone and a scratch on the bumper. Could just take my jack set from my renault, was also no problem.

So don't get the negative reactions here. Of course there can always be something with a car, they are not new cars. I think it is not fair to this company that someone buys a second hand car for 5000 euros and then after 6 months it starts to complain that the brake pads are gone! 5000 euros is a lot of money, don't get me wrong, but for a car it isn't. And people who expect a trade-in of 3000 euros for a 2005 car are of course also not allowed unless it is something special. And of course things can always go wrong, but expect that Auto Hoge will solve this neatly.

For a while I was looking for a sporty diesel automatic transmission, where as a car enthusiast I had quite a few specific wishes but only had a 'limited' budget. That dream car turned out to be difficult to find! Then I saw it online at Auto Hoge Emmen.
After the first email contact the car seemed too expensive for me, but it soon became apparent that the seller really wanted to do his best to get together and he invited me to come over. And we came to a deal! Fortunately, it was no problem at all to have a purchase inspection carried out at my own garage, a requirement for me. There I was told that they 'rarely see such a good occasion passing by'. They have therefore not been able to detect any defects or hidden defects. One less worry. The maintenance to which the car was ready was carried out neatly before delivery, exactly in accordance with the agreement. And although I have not bought a warranty, a new battery was reimbursed when it soon stopped (something that no one could have foreseen). In short: this company thinks along with you and your dream car may be closer than you think.

My girlfriend and I arrived on the terrain around 4:00 pm on a Saturday, looking for a Volkswagen Golf because our old car is ready for the scrap. Strangely enough, no one approaches you as soon as you enter the grounds to speak to you. I was kindly requested to pick up my car from the site and put it outside the fence. Because the sellers really wanted to go home. My girlfriend and I were there .. Just looking at cars in the middle of the site ... I think this is a very special way of "customer-friendliness".
We did come across a beautiful Volkswagen Golf TDI. But no salesman in the area. Because they were already home.
We left and decided to look for our car elsewhere. If the company apparently does not want to sell cars, they will not find a customer for us. A pity, but a missed opportunity for them.

You can buy a good car here, but they are certainly not all flawless! Always take someone with you who knows about cars. Do not listen to sales pitch because you will not hear about defects (this also applies to 98% of car companies)

During the test drive everything seemed to be in order, a few flaws but yes it was a temporary car ..

Made a deal with a car where they would put a new battery, later found out it was a weak used battery.

The exhaust was completely gumgum patched from front to back, after 1 day of driving it was completely leaky again.

The crankshaft seal leaked so much that it landed on the clutch and slipped constantly.

CV joint was broken and the tailgate lock was broken and the rear brake pads disappeared completely after 5 days

They had nothing to say about this and they could give 100 for the broken car if I wanted another one .. Great !! Dirty crooks!

It really is not about those few 100 euros, I am sorry about that, but it is about the principle.

The photos look much better than the car looks personally. Most have scratches or bumps, are not clean, have cobwebs and holes in the seats and even if you have requested a test drive in advance, you have no battery, so you cannot drive them once you get there.

I bought a Renault Megane station from the end of 2010. Very good help, despite crowds, the seller personally took time for us. Auto Hoge met us enormously in price with new tires and polishing. All in all a very positive experience.
We have been driving this car for 4 months now and a little bit after a great car.

If I read a number of reviews here, I can only think back to the time that I wanted to buy a car for less than 2000.00 at Marktplaats and then expected that I could still drive 100,000 km with it.

Our experience is very positive, but we have been critical in the procurement process ourselves.

Next time we will certainly check with Auto Hoge on the site to see if there is anything left for us.

What a scam! Deposit not received back after it turned out to be a damaged vehicle!

When purchasing auto top service and afterwards also great help (referred) with regular service! Happy with my purchase and hope to enjoy my purchase for years to come.

We bought a car (Volvo V40) from Hoge last week and are absolutely satisfied. Clearly, you had to make small compromises because during the test drive a few lights were not on and they should be replaced before we pick it up. Unfortunately forgot ... went there and? was replaced without any complaints. So TOP! Now, after just under a week, there were problems with the rear brakes. The car just had a fresh APK (since January) and we went to a repair shop that works with Hoge. The man there turned pale because the car could NOT have received an APK from the APK company (please note that Hoge does NOT give an APK !!!!). The workshop has teamed up with Hoge and both of them assume the costs, even though it was not their fault, but from the APK company!

So I can only give Hoge, as well as the repair shop, 5 stars, although I would actually want to give more for this service. But Google won't allow it: D

We bought a car there. After 3 weeks the air conditioning did not work. The engine was no longer running smoothly. Of course it was not covered by the warranty. The warranty there is nothing. Ultimately, they don't want to mean anything to you and legal aid is involved. Because of this, everything was repaired at a high cost. So people with problems what I read above .. turn to legal aid because they are much more obliged to repair than what they claim!

What a bad business. Arranged an appointment for a test drive via telephone. Had to call the next when I arrived. I have done nicely and then I am just informed by phone that at that moment all people are waiting for it. What is that ridiculous! I take special for it !! Was treated brutally and rudely on the phone. For me a reason to hang up the phone.
They could at least have called me that at that moment suddenly other interested people were in favor. Normal business does not deal with people that way! Pfff what will their service be if you buy a car there which for whatever reason no longer drives .....
Fortunately, I do not have to experience that.

We bought an Audi A4 convertible 3 months ago. The problems with the test drive such as abs sensor were neatly resolved before we got the car. We were also allowed to take out a 3-month warranty on the engine and gearbox, even though the year of construction did not meet their conditions. The car drove super every now and then the car shook, this did not always. I did not immediately think of the gearbox, but the garage in our area told me it was the gearbox. This was the day before the warranty expired. I immediately sent an email and I was able to bring the audi over. They would watch and if the gearbox was this would be fixed. After a few days we received a call that it took a little longer because they could not find a suitable gearbox. Took 2 weeks but you can expect that too. We have the car back a few days and the problem is completely solved. We also have a 3-month warranty on it. Conclusion well helped, friendly staff everywhere very satisfied.

Worthless! Last year bought a car for 2600 euros. Indicated that I had to have a good car, because I am in it with children. Now a year later, the entire underside appears to be rusted and we are faced with even higher MOT costs than what it was purchased for.
