My rating is for the underwriters of my policy. I have dealt with a few and let me say that I have never experienced such bad customer service. They are not on the same page one agent asks for one thing while another asks for something else. All in all a very bad experience and at this point I would not recommend AAA to any one looking for insurance and this is unfortunate because I have never had a issue in the Lancaster CA branch.

Full disclosure: I've worked here forever...Not thrilled with some recent, company-wide changes...but otherwise, I've had a positive experience.

With that said, the Club goes above and beyond to provide the best service for its members.

This place is the absolute worst! I wish there was...

This place is the absolute worst! I wish there was a way to give negative stars because this place has earned every bit of poor review I have to offer. I work as a contractor and my company has to meet with AAA on occasion. This headquarters office is by far the most difficult place to deal with. The security is rude, they don't allow visitors to go up to the offices and they force people to wait for at least 45 minutes until one of the employees deigns to come down to the lobby to meet me. I was finally able to wrangle a phone number out of one of the employees but when I called to let them know I'd be there at a certain time so as to cut down the wait and give them a headstart to get down to the lobby, the phone just rang off the hook. They never picked up nor did they ever return any voicemails I left them. They won't even allow visitors to use the restroom and when I asked where people can go to the bathroom they replied "somewhere that's not on this premises." Security refuses to give their name or the name of a supervisor so there's no way to complain about anyone specifically. I've also tried calling their human resources phone number and been hung up on multiple times. I've been made to wait for over an hour to see an employee for a matter that takes under a minute to complete. I go into office buildings all day and no one else has any problem checking in visitors. I don't know what they're hiding behind the security desk but it must be something AAA doesn't want anyone to see. They've been extremely problematic and systematically unhelpful when I've proposed suggestions to streamline the process. I am not a AAA customer and haven't used their insurance products before and now after experiencing the way they treat people at the headquarters building I'll never give them my business. Avoid this place at all costs!

old people love AAA...The organization has to innovate and catch up with the times. Really quirky people work at AAA, who have no idea what they are doing and would not survive a month in the real world...

Completely horrible and terrible customer service ...

Completely horrible and terrible customer service at the Newport Beach AAA office! As a 48 year member of AAA, I am appalled. I never ever expected that anyone could make the DMV or the Post Office look like a well oiled machine when it comes to serving it's customers. The customer service at this office is non-existent, in fact I doubt they know the meaning of the words "Customer Service".
The entire staff's projected attitude suggests that they take pride in making their customers wait ridiculously long periods of time in order to receive the most basic of services such as DMV renewals. I visited this office 10 days ago and finally walked out after waiting 30 minutes. I returned today only to experience the same lengthy delay for seemingly no reason, they had plenty of staff but no one was assisting the members who were waiting for service. At each visit there were more employees than customers but they seem to enjoy watching people wait while they strutted around chatting in groups pf two or three. Today I asked to speak to the manager and a Natalie Carpenter came out and acted sympathetic along with a condescending attitude and made it very clear to me she could care less about my concerns. She said she was sorry about the wait but her employees were all on break or running errands and then immediately joined two other clerks manning the front desk and chattered away while 6 of us waited for one clerk who was handling the DMV desk. It apperaed she was in training because of the length of time it took her to handle each members paperwork. By the way this was 4:00PM in the afternoon not exactly rush hour. It has been a very long time since I have seen an entire group of people who had absolutely no interest in providing any type of service to it's clientele and clearly projected an attitude of complete indifference.
In my view the problem stems from the top. Ms. Carpenter should be demoted to entry level clerk and sent back to basic training and learn the meaning of customer service. The vast majority of the clerks clearly lack interest or pride in their respective jobs and probably should be retrained and transferred out or terminated so this cycle of indifference can be broken.
If you are a AAA member looking for poor service, indifferent attitudes, rudeness or simply want to meet a group of lackadaisical lazy misfits the Newport Beach AAA office is your go -to place. If you are looking for something better than that try the local DMV.or Post Office I assure you that you will get better service no matter how bad it is!
Tonight as I write this review I am disheartened, disgusted and ashamed to admit that I am a 48 year member of AAA, I see no reason to renew my membership simply to enable the kind of inneptness I experienced in my last two visits to the AAA office in Newport.Beach.

AAA would not approve my car repairs, sent me my car back without inspecting it, did not cover my extended rental that Caliber collision in san bernardino had about 2 months for a bumper and cosmetic damage, they did not check engine, or did and did not disclose the severe damage caused when car slammed down after being hit from side car was on 2 wheels and almost rolled over. The radiator was hanging by 1 bolt the motor mounts th s broke, the car was rattling loud. I had to take the car to dealer my agent told them not to do any work. No engine damage was disclosed at all Caliber said the dont do engine work. Manager and corporate. I requested my money back. They did not oblige. Why would they keep my money if they are not going to repair my car back to the condition it was before the accident, or salvage it. I also left a review on AAA on baseline in highland, ca.

Went to get my tags. And paid cash for them. I counted out the cash and gave it to Adam Evans all of a sudden a 100 dollars was missing. Told manger she said she would check security cameras. They saw me count out the cash but not him how convenient. Don't pay cash

She was not clear and honestly she need to give her clients all the important information before hanging up she showed she can not multi task and she feels like a big scammer it was a bad experience and made me not want to continue w aaa she is a -10 for her service I did not appreciate her rushing me to start a plan and she did not send my declaration letter or discuss my whole plan it was very unpleasant

This is AAA Southern California corporate offices....

This is AAA Southern California corporate offices. They don't have member services at this location but they have one at a location less than a mile away. Employee parking is on a north lot and if you are late for a meeting or a class plan on a 5-10 min walk. Nice green areas and fantastic food services/cafeteria for employees.

I have been a Member for over 33 Years. They Cancelled my Membership because they made a Mistake i on their Computers. Second they could not send a Tow truck to tow my vehicle. I Paid out of Pocket. Never got re-Inburst $ back. Corporate Office took 60 days to figure out their Mistakes.BAD BAD CORPORATE MANAGEMENT. 33 YEARS WOW.IM STILL IN PROCESS FOR THEM TO PAY ME BACK.

I rarely write bad reviews but I am a first time car owner and was very dissatisfied with the service provided at this location by Ronnie Castillo. I was given a quote for insurance of about $740 but got charged about $140 more than the quote. this makes a quote pretty useless. the agent who gave me the quote, Ronnie Castillo said he would fix it and charge me the quoted price. after 5 months of him saying he would fix it every time I got cancellation notices in the mail he only brought it down $80. I finally gave in and paid the remaining $60 but as a college student I am very upset. Supposedly Ronnie had not noticed my car had a salvage title when he gave me the quote, which is in red letters on title. He attempted to fix it by altering my mileage. It was beyond ridiculous and wont be purchasing from AAA again.

My friend sent me a screenshot of the career fair event that was held in Costa Mesa last Thursday. I drove 15 miles only to submit my resume. There was very little interaction, I think they only did this just so they can say that they did some hiring event but they already have an idea as to who to hire.
I was very insulted when I talked to the man wearing a blue shirt as instructed by the man who got my resume. I applied for the QA, BA or PM position and this dude with the blue shirt told me that he thinks I'm suitable as a desktop support analyst. Seriously? That is a career for fresh grads or high school grads (No offense on the tech support people) I have a master's degree and would not be applying if I know I didn't have ample experience.
If you ask me if I want to work here, my answer is definitely a NO. I will definitely find something better. I feel really bad for wasting my time, energy, effort, paper and printer ink for this very discriminating and racist company.
I'm writing this review so that you can save yourself from trying out to this company.

Very very very bad experience. Do not trust their Claim adjuster idiots works there. I think they costing the company lots of money. Especially guy name Daniel. They really don't care about serving people. they denied pard of my claim, Which was part of my accident. Their corporate office even worse. I asked them for their business license number and they have no idea what is that. Some of their insurance company not even listed for business license online. they keep ignoring me because I'm suing them for my damages. Very Bad Company. Do Not Trust Them.

Quoted me for car insurance a month $266.92 for tow cars, after two months the bills came $467 per month. I called back to the agent left a message, never call me back then I called his Manager left a message, and the manager never call me back. AAA is the biggest scam company that I never seen in my life. Please stay way from AAA insurance, they are big and also they are a Big Scam. I will never recommend AAA insurance to anyone .

I know I'm not the first person to say that it's VERY DIFFICULT to get a human being on the phone to ask questions, unless it's insurance SALES. Other than towing/battery jump services, I find AAA useless. Their so-called "member discounts" for travel, rental cars are easily beaten by research online--or just go to Costco Member Services: much better. They should just close all their offices and become solely an insurance company....they are a tired and ineffective organization.

This review is more about "Emily E."/CS Membership/Costa Mesa than AAA: I was attempting to file a claim when I coincidentally found out that my membership had been "cancelled" and partially refunded several months ago unbeknownst to me...no notification, no letter of cancellation, no acknowledgement...nothing! I would have been stranded if I'd had an EM to deal with. I was very unhappy to find this out and couldn't get anywhere with multiple other representatives in claims & member services over the next several weeks....all the way up to someone named "Bob H." VP of Membership Relations...no one helped me address the situation, but instead left me hanging and very upset.
Finally I had the good luck (or law of averages) to speak w/ Emily E.,who was a complete angel and took ownership of the situation and saw it through by reinstating my EM Roadside Services, and initiating a new membership; she told me exactly how to fill out the "membership reimbursement form" and quelled my complete exasperation with AAA. KUDOS to Emily E! You should be running this company! Thank you so much! It turned out that the very next week I had a flat tire to deal with and luckily I had Triple A Services in place and there to assist me with this nuisance and distressing semi-emergency! Thank you thank you!

According to AAA After 24 years of "being a loyal customer" they denied my first claim ever. Long story short a water line broke underneath the slab floor, because it was not a "sudden burst" AAA deemed it an ongoing problem. AAA said sorry claim denied, but we do continue to appreciate your loyalty.

At which time I called and told them so they said yes we are very sorry and you will rcv a refund check well many calls and a year later I still get the run around they stole my money and just lie to me the place is garbage and thives

Whats going on with AAA? The slogan sure does not match their Deniel of my Auto accident claim, and others Im reading and a relative that had Deniel from AAA. The agents are taking whats in the policy and interpretating it to benefit them. They know to hire an attorney would cost more than the deniel. Ive been 10 years with AAA.
