I tried Austin Dental Spa for the first time today, and the experience was truly amazing. Heather greeted me at the door, and did not leave my side during my hour long visit. She personally escorted me through the entire process, and truly made me feel like a person instead of just a patient. Dr. Jordan Slagter was just as amazing. She was thoughtful and caring about my situation, and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable (which never happens at the dentist office). I went to Austin Dental Spa today to get a one-time consultation, but instead I walked away having a new dentist (and dentist office). I can't give a higher recommendation. Well done, team!!!
Game changer. I ve had my share of bad to downright terrible experiences with dentists over the years from them not listening or reading your chart and knowing things someone should know before performing potentially painful (and definitely anxiety-producing in my case) procedures.
Today was as far away from a bad experience as it could be! Jenny and Dr. Jordan Slagter took the very best care of me in the chair I felt comfortable and even, dare I say, relaxed. I was confident in the fact that they listen, do their due diligence and work hard to make sure patients are comfortable throughout. They actually did listen. The arm massage, weighted blanket, neck pillow and nitrous didn t hurt! Even through to the end checking out with Ally (sp?) was awesome. It s nice to go to an office where people have real conversations and are focused not just on the dental work, but on building relationships. Thanks Austin Dental Spa...definitely highly recommend!
I had the honor of filming some videos for Dr. Sweeney and through the process I was totally captivated by their approach and kindness; so I became a new patient. The massages are so awesome and unlike any other experience I've ever had before. The entire staff is incredibly friendly , fun to be around and very professional. Dr. Mark and Dr. Jordan are truly amazing and I'm glad they are keeping an eye on my smile.

Excellent from start to finish! I m not a big fan of the dentist and have had some misadventures in the past. I shared my trepidation when I made the appointment.
It s clear that my past experiences had been relayed by the careful time and attention each person took to allow me to feel comfortable. Everyone is very kind and easy going especially Dr Sweeney. He said he only hires excellent people and this is evident from my visit today. From start to finish.
I m actually looking forward to my next visit. Tooth and gum health are too important to let fear keep you from taking care of yourself.

Austin Dental Spa is the best! The people are so friendly & I have received top notch treatment every time I ve been there! Dr Sweeney did my veneers 14 years ago & I have had the prettiest smile.... until one broke in half a few days ago! I just went in to see him today & he, once again, exceeded my expectations! My TEMPORARY veneer is pretty much perfect! I wouldn t trust anyone else with something as important as your smile! He is an expert!
