I found Dr. Garcia through my insurance but have loved her and her nurses since I first met them. They are all very attentive and caring. I would definitely recommend her.

I know this is a very busy practice and even though I am past the years of having children, whenever I have an appointment with Dr. Akin he is very attentive, never in a hurry , answers all my questions patiently and truly seems to care about me as a patient and an individual.

Dr. Capet is very knowledgeable and her staff is so caring!

Dr. Seeker is a man who is doing what he really loves. He truly loves taking care of women. He said at my last visit he did not even consider what he does work. He had just earlier in the day delivered a baby. Being a mother of three I know it is work for everyone involved. I am almost 70 yrs. old and have not ever met such a wonderful doctor.

Great experience! They got me in same day and was quick to be seen. Nurses were awesome and Dr. Phillips was great and listened to all my concerns, even if they were trivial. Definitely recommend!

Waited a while for the appointment - but well worth it ! Felt very comfortable and like the staff was listening and cared, and they were extremely competent. Imaging equipment was right in the room - no driving to a lab. Just bring something to keep yourself occupied, the resources available for tests cancel out any wait time.

After going to the ER for intense pain in my lower back and lower abdomen region due to a large Uterine Fibroid, I went to Austin Area Obstetrics to see Dr. Akin. It was established that we would need to have surgery within a week to remove the fibroid. Of course this all was happening on Friday of Memorial Day weekend. However, they were able to get me scheduled for right after the weekend!

For me this was a scary situation as I had never had surgery before. Plus I did not even know something like a Fibroid even existed. Dr. Akin and his staff were absolutely amazing! Dr. Akin took time to explain to me what a fibroid was and how he planned to remove it. He took the time to address my concerns in the initial visit, pre/post surgery, and in the follow-up visit.

Once I got home after the surgery, I had some additional questions and I called the office. Nurse Judy from Dr. Akin's staff was able to address my concerns and give me some further advice on recovery. Nurse Judy even called me back a few days later to check in on me and see how my recovery was going. Plus she also checked on me when she saw me in the office for my 2-week follow up appointment. How great is that?!

Personally I had an outstanding experience with Austin Area Obstetrics, especially with Dr. Akin and Nurse Judy. I would highly recommend Austin Area Obstetrics for anyone looking for an OB-GYN.

Dr. Garcia was extraordinarily caring and took the time to get to know me as her new patient. Doctor Seeker was great! He is very professional but also very caring. He resolved medical issues that other doctors had overlooked when examing me. What I loved the most was that he was optimistic and had a positive attitude, a quality you don't find too often in doctors.

The appointment was for a first time gynecological visit and could not have gone better for the patient. Dr. Seeker has an incredible bedside manner that puts the patients mind at ease, he explains everything so it is easy to comprehend and makes the process as comfortable as possible. Love Dr. Seeker and his nurses! I just had my daughter in September and I'll actually miss seeing them! Also, my labor and delivery was night and day different than my first time (with a different doctor)! I can't say enough good things about him and his practice!

Dr. Akin is a fantastic doctor with a wonderful bedside manner. He and his staff have developed a secret recipe that provides outstanding and extremely professional care but in a comfortable, friendly, and non judgmental manner which results in a confident, happy, healthy patient. He's personal even introducing his patients to his own beautiful family including his wife, children, and grandchildren by displaying a few beautiful family portraits among other pieces of gorgeous artwork in his wing. He asked about my son; the son he helped bring into the world and about how I was feeling being a mother. The services offered grow as they constantly listen to patients so now I can also include cosmetic procedures as well as allergy testing here - again caring for the whole person. Valet parking is great too! Love, love, love this place. A perfect business contributing to the health and happiness of the community.

Jessica Shoening, Dr. Capet's FNP-C is absolutely wonderful!!! I've never met a FNP-C that is as thorough and knowledgable as Jessica. She has a gift and is so patient and kind. My experience was great, seeing my Dr. Robert Cowan again! His staff & nurses are all so nice, it's always a pleasure to go there. I did mention to the staff that the parking lot for that building needs new stripes painted on pavement. And perhaps a sign that says "No double parking allowed" would be helpful. It's a small lot, and several people parked very crooked, or purposefully parked in center of faded lines, taking up 2 spots. Many patients coming into the parking lot, couldn't find a space to park. Hoping this will be improved upon soon. Because of Dr. Cowan & his staff's genuine care & concern, I felt at ease & very positive about my visit.

Jacki is the very best gynecological practitioner I ve ever known. I also ran a well-known women s practice so i have plenty of experience with ob-gyn providers. I drive from very far away just to have my well woman checkups with her. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Anderson and her staff are wonderful to work with. She always thoroughly explains everything and is incredibly knowledgeable. I changed to this practice recently and realize I should have changed years ago.

On the very first visit everyone from reception to PAs to the doctor herself (and the scheduler) were all just so very nice and kind and patient. Wait times are a little longer to see doctors, but I'm okay with this as it means everyone is getting solid attention (not the standard 15-minute visit). Dr. Wang is just a beacon of light - so upbeat and friendly and encouraging! Looking forward to working with her on this journey :)

Dr. Phillips and Dr. Akin are great! Dr. Phillips has been my OBGYN for several years now and Dr. Akin delivered my daughter (because she came when Dr. Phillips was out of town). Dr. Akin was amazing during what could have been a very stressful experience (pre-term delivery with some complications at the end). I love being at a practice where there is such depth of experience and great doctors. One of the many things I love about Dr. Phillips and the nurses in his practice is that the wait time is usually relatively short to be seen, and you are treated so well by everyone there!

Dr. Cowan and his staff are absolutely amazing. I am a very anxious patient but they are extremely thorough. Dr. Cowan makes sure he spends time with you and answers all of your questions and concerns. I have never once felt rushed. He is very caring and has impeccable bedside manners. The facility is outstanding and very timely. I highly recommend Dr. Cowan.

The facility was very comfortable and well kept. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Great environment with great attitudes. Definitely will refer friends and family to experience an excellent Dr.'s visit.

I had an endometrial ablation with Dr. Wang after trying many different things to help with my horrible monthly cycle. The next step was this procedure and from day one of discussing it, Dr. Wang made me feel so at ease about it. I hadn't been under any type of anesthesia before and was very nervous come procedure day, but just like every time before, seeing Dr. Wang made me feel so much better! They took me in and I was out and in recovery in less than 20 minutes! It's now just over 24 hours after and I am feeling 100%!!! So grateful to have such an amazing doctor with such an amazing team!

I LOVE Dr. Diana Wang!!! She hands down is the most down to earth, talented, educated, and amazing Doctor I ve had the pleasure of going to. She turns what is normally an awkward kind of appt, to something that isn t a big deal. She is so personable, and has been there for years now through everything I have needed. I will never see another OBGYN as long as she is in Austin.

Dr Allison Anderson is so warm and caring. She takes her time to listen and reassures you. I have had the same doctor for the past 19 years, now that he has retired I was anxious about switching. I am so happy to have found her and look forward to have her as my new care provider. I was amazed by her outgoing personality and her genuineness. I especially really like the fact that she gives you a hug as she says goodbye. Unparalleled care for sure ! Thank you Dr. Anderson.

Dr. Christopher Seeker is the best OBGYN. I would recommend him to any lady that needs a OBGYN. His honestly, kindness, and his bed side manner are out of this world. I wish he was a doctor for everything, but then no one could get in to see him and he's booked full already. I cannot say enough about this doctor except that he's the best doctor ever. Also, he makes you feel like he really does care and your his only important patient (not making you feel like he's in a hurry to get to his next patient and does not really care about you). I've been seeing Seeker since 1990 and again, I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. He's worth more than a 5 star rating.

Dr. Anderson knows and remembers her patients well. She makes you feel cared for even during short annual visits. She provides excellent care and educates you on risks and benefits before you make any decisions. The front desk and checkout staff were very friendly and her medical staff is quick to get back to you with results and for any questions. The clinic is busy, but even if you have to wait a little for your appointment, it is worth it!

Dr. Akin and the entire staff at Austin Area OBGYN have taken excellent care of me and our first daughter Melody who is now 4 months old. The delivery process went smoothly and we were well attended the entire time without being inundated or feeling like the checking in was obtrusive. I could not recommend Dr. Akin and his entire team more highly!

I don t usually schedule appointments with PA s but Emily Harding is the best PA ever! She makes you feel at ease and will take her time to answer any questions or concerns.
If you are looking to establish, switch drs or whatever the case is look no further, schedule with Emily (dr Akens PA) she is the best so far!

I recently moved to Austin and was looking for a new ob for my annuals. I really wanted a good doctor because my past experiences with some I ve had have not been positive. I also wanted to find a doctor I could trust for when I d start planning for a family. And with Dr. Anderson I found all of that and more. Best doctor I ve ever had in general. I wasn t just another patient to her and I m thankful to have found this office.

I absolutely love Dr. Anderson. Her personality is always bubbly. This is my first pregnancy and I feel so comfortable because she answers all of our questions and offers a lot of reassurance.

This review is long overdue, but in regards to my first pregnancy and delivery late last year, my experience at AAOBGYN was exceptional. This is coming from someone who hates going to hospitals, Dr. Garcia helped me feel at ease and really listened to all my concerns. Everyone who accompanied me on my visits could notice her eagerness to help, too. The rest of staff always treated me kindly and were easy to work with, as well. Especially during delivery, which is the part that frightened me the most. From inducing my labor to dispatch, they helped calm my nerves and answered all my questions directly. A million thank yous to everyone at AAOBGYN! I look forward to my next visit.

I have been coming to this practice since 1982. While it has grown tremendously over the years, I still feel very comfortable here. My Physician is Dr. Akin, but I usually also see his P.A. Emily Harding. They are both gems.
