If you have to go for your well-woman exam I highly recommend Dr. Akin and his staff. I've been going here for so long I feel like they are my family. Thank you for taking such good care of me and for having such a loving, caring staff. Love you all.
The office was friendly and on time. The doctor was wonderful about explaining to me options on my condition. She patiently listened to my concerns and answered all my questions and took plenty of time with me.
3rd visit and once again pleasantly surprised to be on time. While there the Dr. was called on on emergency cesarian. She came in explained what was happening and that she had to go but answered al my husbands question on my upcoming surgery and introduced us to her NP that would do my preop exam and answer any questions I had as well as relay requests to the doctor for other questions she needed to answer. Great, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Felt safety was great although the waiting room was crowded. always friendly staff, didn't wait long at all. didn't feel rushed. I would reccomend

From the moment I walked in, everyone was very polite I was excited because of how every area had polite workers. I did not have to wait long. That is a big plus for me as I am new to the area and I was seen within 15 minutes. I also was able to get in more appointments, than I had went for which is a plus. This is definitely a One Stop Drop, LOL literally you can save time by being here with all these nice people who really care for you. Dr. Akin has been my OB/GYN for many years. He is top in his field. Very smart & trust worthy.
Dr. Landherr is one of the most genuinely caring doctors. I ve been seeing her normally for a while, but recently with some major health issues she was one of the only doctors (I saw a lot!) that listened and actually tried something. Sure enough she found the issue!!! The follow up from then to even after surgery recovery has been awesome. You re in good hands with her and her team.

To start: My doctor is absolutely AMAZING

The billing department/practices here are pretty shady from what I have seen. Without going into too much detail, I received a bill in the mail to "pre-pay" for maternity care that I have yet to receive. Fine...file it with my insurance, but they do not until after delivery (which makes sense because that is AFTER care is received). Why on earth would I give them $2,000 when my insurance company has no visibility to the fact that I have spent this money and cannot apply it toward my deductible? This makes absolutely no sense and I will not pre-pay for a services that were not given yet unless they are filed.
I find it hard to believe I am the first to ask these kinds of questions. If you are asked to "pre-pay", please do not and please do your homework and ask questions to both your insurance company and AAOBYN.
Dr. Lockwood is amazing!!! I have seen her for many years and always leave the office with any and all questions answered, she is always who I recommend if I know someone is looking.
I love this facility. Dr. Garcia is the best doctor I ve ever been to, in any facet of medicine. She is kind, accommodating, and makes something as sensitive as a gyno appointment feel like a breeze. Couldn t reccomend more. Also I think this is my second 5 star review I ve written for this clinic but idc because they re WORTH IT.
Dr. Akin and the nurses/staff are amazing! They always take their time and answer all of my questions. When I have a call-in question, Judy promptly gets back with me and always goes out of her way to help! I've been going to Dr. Akin for over 10 years!.
I have been seeing Dr. Seeker for over 26 years now, he is by far one of the best doctors i have ever had.
Friendly but constantly running late. I should preface all of this with the fact that the Doctor we have is wonderful My wife goes here for her pregnancy, she likes the quality of care. However, I don't think we've been to one appointment that they've actually started on time (within any realm of reason). I'd say on average you're seen about 45 minutes to an hour after your appointment time. Why not just adjust the appointment times?
After my OB/GYN move away a few years ago it was so hard to pick a new DR. I finally settled on Dr. Wang after reading reviews. I am so glad that I chose her. She is so nice and made me feel so comfortable. I'm glad that I found her.

Dr. Garcia is amazing. She made me feel very comfortable (which is definitely important) and answered all of my questions. Her nurse was super friendly too. I m very pleased with my experience!
Dr. Capet is an all around great physician. She takes the time to answer questions & makes sure you both understand the purpose of your visit. She also runs a very efficient calendar & keeps very minimal wait times! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new OB/GYN!

I appreciate how I can do my mammogram, Pap smear and bloodwork all in one place. They are very efficient at moving people through quickly but still caring for and listening to their patients.
Dr. Wang and her staff went above and beyond for me as a patient. Dr. Wang fit me in the day before Thanksgiving because I thought I was having a ruptured cyst on my ovary. I was in a tremendous amount of pain. She quickly realized it wasn't a cyst but possibly my appendix! We went to the er and they confirmed it. What I really appreciated was that she didn't just send me on my way with no direction or help but cared about me a person and didn't want to see me in pain. Did I mention the staff held my hair back while I threw up? Fabulous doctor and I will not hesitate to recommend her!

Dr. Seeker is absolutely amazing! Words cant even describe how great he is! He takes his time with each of his patients and answers all your questions and concerns! His bedside manner is also amazing. If you can with a partner he also makes sure they feel included and welcome. SUCH AN AMAZING PERSON. I also got the chance to meet Melissa, she is the nurse practitioner and works with Dr.Seeker. She is just awesome! She makes you feel so comfortable. I was so nervous to get my first pap smear and she definitely helped calm my nerves. I have nothing but positive things to say!!

The one thing that dissapointed me today was when the receptionist said I had to pay all my dues for the last visit before I see Jessica. That was embarrassing if y'all care to know .I work in health care and an email or a phone call to explaining your new policy to clear bills before your next appointment would have saved the day. why bring it on during my visit ? I love dr carpet but I guess Its about time for people my type to get another OBGYN.

Dr Seeker is notoriously late...typically an hour or more with each visit, but the service and care I get once I see him is unparalleled. I'm very thankful to have such a great Gyn! If I could have ever seen him within 30-45 minutes of my appointment time, I'd have given him 5 stars.

Dr.Capet delivered by first child this week (and has been my OBGYN for two years). She is an expert and absolute pro in her field. She runs a no nonense, attentive and nurturing practice which is a rare combination and one that makes Capet and her staff so exceptional. I feel fortunate to be working with Dr.capet as my OBGYN and I am forever grateful she brought my baby girl safely into the world on 10/18/18!

Something unexpected came up and after a phone consultation I was given the option to be seen in their office. They worked me in within a couple of hours and Dr. Akin took care of me. As always, he was very professional, funny, and showed concern for the incident. We have been seeing Dr. Akin for over 20 years and the service is always superb and the staff is very professional and caring.
Dr. Wang thoroughly examined me with my 3 weeks pregnancy and assured me dat everything looks good.

The staff at Austin Area OBGYN was incredibly friendly and comforting. It was my first time there, was recommended to see Dr. Casey Friesenhahn from a friend, and she was absolutely amazing. Casey made me feel comfortable and reassured of the decisions I was making with my body, and I will definitely be back to see her for my next appointment.
Ms. Lori is the best! She takes her time to answer all questions and really listens to you when you re expressing your concerns. She also does a great job displaying her knowledge which makes me so comfortable being her patient! It is wonderful to have a provider that you can trust! Dr. Wang was the third OBGYN that I had seen about my fibroids. She made me feel the most comfortable, knowledgeable, and very compassionate. After one appointment we immediately scheduled. I was sooo terrified. This was the first time I had ever went into surgery in my life. Dr. Wang and her staff made the process seamless. I healed perfectly! You can barely see the scar. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Unfortunately I ll be moving from Texas and she won t be able to deliver my first child if I do decide. I hope find a doctor as nearly as awesome as her. The office staff is very friendly and efficient. I like this office because I get good medical care and Amy King is a provider that is also a good listener. I know I'm going to go home with all the tools to stay healthy. The patient portal allows you to email any questions to your doctors, and you can review all the office visit care plans just in case you forgot something your doctor told you during the visit.
I love Dr. Landherr, I've been going to her for several years now. She helped us conceive and deliver a healthy baby boy! Highly recommend.

I saw Natalie, a nurse practitioner with Dr. Uribe, for my annual exam. She was prompt and very thorough. I was in and out including lab work in about an hour and a specialist she referred me to called within the next hour to schedule my appointment. Very pleased with the thoroughness and promptness of my visit. Natalie is also very personable.
Dr. Seeker and his staff were wonderful, as always. They are always very attentive and welcoming. I had my fussy 7 month old with me today and his nurses helped soothe and play with him during my appointment! It was so sweet and I cannot express how much I appreciated it.
The only negative I have is the wait time, but to see Dr. Seeker and his staff it is definitely worth it! 4.99 stars!

She s everything one looks for in the field of female health: she listens attentively, offers calm and insightful information, and treats her patients with respect for their own intelligence and ability to be a part of their healthcare options. Her staff is friendly and very helpful and professional as well. It s a large facility with other doctors, but her wing feels comforting, plus everything is very clean, well laid-out and organized.
