I needed a last minute appointment due to pelvic pain and was able to get in with Kristen Pollei the same day as a new patient. My first experience with Kristen, and the office in general, was a great one. She took her time to look over me and even went above and beyond to discuss/help with things other than what I scheduled my appointment for. I felt like she was very passionate about what she does and truly cares about her patients. I ve never felt so comfortable or confident in a opinion as I did with hers after the first time meeting her. I m thankful I ended up at Austin Area Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Fertility!

I ve been seeing Lori Dobbin for more than 15 years. She s wonderful in so many ways!! She s addressed some difficult issues with me with the upmost care and compassion. She never rushes our appointments, always listens to all of my concerns, and thoroughly answers all of my questions. I even moved to another city, and when I returned to Austin there was never a question that I would choose to return to her for my care.
The best! The team under Dr. Uribe are the kindest professionals you ll ever meet! Excellent at what they do, yet still incredibly personable. Favorite doctor team in town!
I have had positive experience with my previous OB doctors, but I must say that Dr. Wang was exceptional even just basing on our first meeting! There was an instant connection. She was so bubbly, smart, and accommodating; the kind of OB you would love to have. I felt that I and my baby are in good hands!! As a registered nurse who has worked with different kinds of doctors, I can tell that Dr. Wang is someone really special. The industry is lucky and blessed to have her! I highly recommend Dr. Wang (10 out of 5 stars) and the entire staff who did a wonderful job! I look forward to more wonderful OB visits.
Lori Dobbin is a very caring and knowledgeable practitioner. I feel heard and respected when I visit and will continue to rely on her for women's health care in the future.
Dr. Anderson has such friendly bedside manner and makes you feel reassured that she will make the potentially unpleasantness associated with the exam will go fine. She walks you through ahead of time what she's going to do and let's you know what to expect. Her staff are friendly and helpful as well.
Dr. Seeker and his Nursing Staff are the very best! Always with a smile and give you the most lovely greeting. Each of my pregnancies have been so wonderful thanks to their care and love.

Dr. Christopher Seeker is amazing!!! He greets me every time with an enthusiastic kind hug. He listens to my concerns and I know that I can trust his judgement. He s the best OBGYN I ve ever encountered and I ve seen many throughout the years in many different states.
I love love love Dr. Seeker and his staff. I've been going to him for six years. They are super busy of course you never know when someone will go into labor which naturally places the schedule behind. My suggestion is to have the little paging system like Chuys or Cheesecake Factory has where you can go to the cafe or sit in the less crowded lobby. They could page you when you are next. Maybe have some movies playing on a TV in the waiting area. The wait is always worth seeing the best Doctor though. (Bring a book, snack, and headphones!) Babies don't care about the the schedule.
First time here for an annual exam. Dr. Phillips was very kind and personal. You re actually a person to him, but just a patient. The waiting room is a bit overwhelming but don t let that fool you as the staff is all so warm and welcoming once you get in. I m so happy I found this practice and Dr. Phillips. Thank you!

Dr. Uribe is fantastic! He is the only doctor I've met who truly diagnoses you as an individual and not as a common percentage. I highly recommend him. He's also very personable and his staff are friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with the service and treatment I received.

Alyson Garcia is one of the best OBGYNs I have ever experienced! She's caring, companionate, understanding, and listens to what you have to say and your needs. I have been to so many Drs over the years who have brushed off my concerns or didn't believe me thinking I just wanted pain meds when I genuinely had a very very painful medical condition. Alyson is the first doctor to listen and solve the problem! I have never left a Drs visit so relieved in my entire life! I would recommend her to any woman who is not happy with their doctor because with her you will be with Dr Gracia!
Super friendly and ready to help stuff. No long waits, always answering my questions within an hour if I send message through patient portal. Dr. Esfandiari is the best! She is very knowledgeable and always listens to you and trying to find a solution that would work for your situation.
Dr. Cowan helped my husband and I conceive our first child 17 years ago! He delivered all three of our children over the course of the next 6 years. He has remained equally sensitive, knowledgeable and helpful as I transition into a new phase of life. He is professional, thorough and gentle and has a great bedside manner which puts me at ease during office visits and procedures. I am grateful to have Dr. Cowan as my physician and highly recommend him to women of any age!
I had an amazing experience from the start & til the end of my appointment. JESSICA SCHOENING, NP (whom I was seen by) was very Knowledgeable & showed much interest in all my concerns. In addition, Dr. CAPET whole staff gave such a warm welcome. All were so helpfull, professional & we all even had a great sense of humor (laugher is always healthy). I thank all of you ladies for making me feel so welcomed & having such an amazing visit.
My very first appointment with Dr. Seeker was April 4, 2018 and I cannot add enough stars for the experience. From the start Dr. Seeker had great bed side manner and he really listened to my concerns and worries. When he introduced himself, he made it a point to already know who I was and even looked around to my husband and said you must be Joshua! It s nice to meet you. That made it feel very personal because there are so many times that you go to a doctors office and have to repeatedly introduce yourself or even retell the Dr what you ve already told everyone they work with... it was nice that you could tell he had read over the paperwork before walking in. I also have to add that he is SO POSITIVE and it makes the infertility stress feel like it s nothing to worry about, he ll take care of it. Love AAOBGYN! Wouldn t go anywhere else. :)
Dr Garcia is attentive, informative and caring--everything I want from my Obgyn. Her nurses reflect the same qualities. I had a rather unexpected and uncomfortable reaction to a treatment after my last visit. It was nothing that could have been predicted and it was dealt with promptly, thoroughly and with great concern--from the moment I called until I left your office. I highly recommend Dr. Garcia and all her staff.
2/12/2020 I have been seeing Dr Garcia for a few years now. From check-in to checkout, I am always impressed with this practice. Dr Garcia has had the same nurse for as long as I have been seeing her and that tells me a lot. Dr Garcia is my favorite obgyn I ve ever had. I m in my sixties, so I ve had a few doctors in my lifetime. She s easy to connect with and always makes me very comfortable. It s easy to see how much she loves what she does. She s everything I want in a doctor. Five stars!
I recently moved to Austin and was recommended to go see Dr. Alyson Garcia by my doctor from Dallas. She along with the entire staff here are absolutely amazing! She is so understanding and alleviated most of my fears. I am so lucky to have found her. I haven't seen any of the other doctors her, just because I feel so comfortably with her. Definitely would recommend coming here if you need an OBGYN.
This entire office goes above and beyond for each person. The minute you check in to the moment you check out is unlike any other experience. I chose Dr Cowan for my second child and I couldn t be any happier. His demeanor and positive attitude are contagious and you couldn t help but feel confident and comforted during an experience that can make you anxious and scared. I seriously cannot express enough how amazing Dr Cowan and his nurses are. They make you feel like you re family and take the time to get to know you and your family throughout your maternity journey. After my csection, Dr Cowan checked on us every single day in the hospital to make sure we were okay. Even when he was back to back surgeries and appointments busy , he still made the effort to check on us in our hospital room. You don t get that anywhere else. I will be a forever patient with Dr Cowan and his staff.
Dr. Landherr is just the best! What else can I say. She is an amazing Doctor and Woman! She actually listens to you!!! Not like most male Obgyn s I ve seen.
Wonderful visit and experience. The most thorough annual well woman exam I have had - and I ve had many in my years. Doctor Seeker is extremely professional and warm as is the entire staff.

Ms. Friesenhahn is knowledgeable, professional, kind and warm. I always feel reassured and cared for after my annual visit. She takes the time to answer any questions that I might have and provides easy to understand, straight forward answers. I wouldn t want to go anywhere else.
Dr. Aguirre's staff are very professional and nice. I learn more more about my baby every time I go to visit. I am impressed with Dr. Aguirre's bedside manner. He is personable and always takes good care.
Lori Dobbin is a great practitioner! She s a great listener, gentle, encouraging and communicates at your level. I ve always felt comfortable with her. The space at AAOBGYN does not feel sterile, there are little succulents in the bathroom, art in the rooms, and a very efficient check in and out system.
The wait time was very bad, an hour and a half, but my doctor had a delivery so hopefully that is not the norm. Otherwise I loved the staff, the doctor was great and the actual visit went very well. I am definitely returning!
My first visit to AA OB/GYN could not have gone better. I was called back within 15 minutes of my appointment time. The nurse was very thorough, very kind, and took the time to figure out what my needs were so that Dr. Anderson could come in and get right to work. Dr. Anderson is a total gem. She did not rush me or the appointment in any way, and took the time to answer all of my questions. They were both very warm & welcoming, and I was out within an hour & 30 minutes of my appointment time. Super pleased with this practice so far!!

Dr. Cowan & all of his staff are wonderful! He was very helpful & provided thorough information. Additionally, he answered all my questions & calmed my fears without me feeling rushed or dumb for asking questions. His staff is also the same way & are extremely helpful. Because of my experience with Dr. Cowan & his staff, I have referred my friends to him. I'm so blessed to have found a doctor with a wonderful demeanor & great bedside manner.
Had my Annual Well Woman visit today with Dr. Michael Phillips. He and his staff are awesome! He truly cares about all of his patients and takes time to visit with you about your total well being. He's great at having those difficult conversations (weight loss, nutrition, exercise, etc.) but in a way that you know he wants only the best for you and your family. My only complaint this visit has nothing to do with the doctors or staff...it's the obnoxious air freshener/scent in the waiting area that literally gave me a headache after five minutes. Need to be more friendly to those with sensitivities to smells. Was told it was to create a calming, low stress environment. The Zen music was nice but unless it's a faint hint of vanilla, citrus or a more natural/neutral aroma, they would be better off using an air purifier to clean the air than pumping in a heavy fragrance that pollutes it.
I had laparoscopy surgery with Dr. Seeker and it is the best surgery experience I have ever had. I recovered in a week and I feel great. Dr. Seeker is very professional; I highly recommend him.
A wonderful place to go for complete care. Always a friendly, atmosphere and Kelly Reagan is amazing!!! She is attentive, caring and kind. I always look forward to seeing her because of the environment she has created.
Casey makes me feel like family. She always talks to me instead of at me. She says things in a way that s easy to understand which in the doctors world is not always the case.
During my wifes pregnancy the consistenlty took 30 minutes to an hour past our appointment time to see us with no explanation as to why we had to wait.
I went to Dr.Akin on recommendation from one of my family members. All the staff are so friendly and are very welcoming to questions I had. Akin himself is so down to earth and made my every visit comfortable.
Amy was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I have been seeing Dr Uribe and Amy since 2013 and have been very impressed with the office in general. Your are greeted immediately by a friendly staff and when you are taken back to your room, everyone is friendly and helpful.
Jackie Lockwood is AMAZING! She s very professional, but also so good with relating to you and creating a personal relationship as well. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone :)
I recently moved away from Austin and finding an OBGYN better than Dr. Seeker is impossible. Dr. Seeker and Jackie Lockwood will forever and always be the best care providers I have ever been to. They truly take the time to know all of their patients medical history while also learning about their personal lives. There is usually a LONG wait which can be frustrating at times but the minute they walk through the doors it is worth it. I never felt rushed and knew I was in good hands even while going through a scary medical procedure. I love this practice so much and am eternally grateful for the time I got to spend as a patient with them.
Dr. Cowan and his team are AMAZING. I get super stressed going to the doctor but they always make me feel better. They celebrated with me through all of my pregnancy milestones. They are so kind and down to earth.
3/10/2020 I had an event that warranted being seen soon and The wonderful staff got me in the next day! I experienced Dr Garcia s kind, understanding And caring hands once again. I can t speak highly enough about this WOMAN! She is an Angel ... in a doctor capacity!!! Thank you Dr. Garcia for providing such outstanding care ! Thank you also to her staff !
2018 Dr Garcia is a diamond in her field! She is caring , concerned about the patient, and explains everything with patience and love . This is such a great, caring place. As I watched people go back to see the doctor, I saw nurses who knew the patients, asked about their families/kids (even if the kids weren t there) and were kind and compassionate.
My only positives here are being seen by KRISTEN POLLEI, WHNP and being in communication with Nurse Heather. Kristen's assistant, not sure of her title, was nothing but sweet as well and a bright smile to see upon stressful times. I can't recommend Kristen enough and she's easily one of the first people I've seen to actually listen to me and make me feel valid and important as a patient.
I first had an appt last year for my annual visit. I was very clear about being self pay. The office messed up my billing and then the lab across the hall did as well. It took a lot of back and forth but it was finally cleared up by both parties. It was stress that no patient should need to go through or have to make multiple calls to stay on people to just simply do their job.
To actually reach anyone by phone is a nightmare. You will not get through and will be forced to wait for a call back.
The girls at the desk almost all have the worst attitudes and are very rude as stated in several other reviews. They act as though you coming to your doctor is inconveniencing their lives. I'm not sure why management let's this continue and hasn't addressed this as it seems to be a long term problem. Or maybe the management is the issue and it's a trickle down effect.
Wait times are almost always extremely long. One time I was in was well over an hour and a half wait to see the doctor. When I saw the NP, it wasn't that bad.
Now my largest complaint is with KATHRYN LANDHERR, MD [OB/GYN]. She's so terrible I actually refused to see her after only one appointment. I was seeing her to confirm a miscarriage. She didn't apologize for the long wait. Upon greeting me, I instantly felt like she was there to stop and see me for 5 seconds and be on with her day. She was so cold and emotionless towards me when telling me it was confirmed I was miscarrying. I wasn't too upset by this because doctors are great at not seeing the"person" these days. But the next steps were to discuss how I would proceed. She literally gave me the only option to have a D&C. I told her, "Well, that's quite invasive. You don't have another option? What about naturally? Or a pill?". She stuttered her words and says "Oh yes, you could wait to see what happens naturally. But the pill is only given by a-a-abortion clinics." You could clearly FEEL her personal views affecting my life and my health. It was disgusting. I told her I would not do the D&C yet until necessary. She left the office without telling me anything on what to expect. She didn't tell me if I lost too much blood I should go to the ER. She didn't tell me a D&C had risks involved. She didn't tell me how long a miscarriage can continue and what I should do post MC to make sure everything was ok. I could go on and on but literally she said NOTHING to me. Just yup, you miscarried...bye. I'd be willing to bet I have a case for malpractice. I immediately cancelled my follow up with her and rescheduled with Kristen. I'd highly recommend anyone who values their health, avoid Dr. Landherr. She needs to stay behind a desk somewhere and avoid seeing patients.
Overall, Kristen and Heather gave the best care, answered all of my questions, and made me feel like a human they thought was worth their time. They even continued to follow up with me when I moved out of the area to make sure my labs to follow of my HCG levels were ok. I would only ever go back here for these two ladies. They are amazing.
Entire staff at AA OB/GYN was awesome. Ms. Dobbin was very attentive to my concerns and made the entire visit very comfortable. She was incredibly sweet! I very much plan on returning in the future for my obstetric needs.
The fact of the matter is that going to the doctor is a service business. I receive personalized service from sincere people from the front desk to the doctor - everyone - no kidding:)
Dr. Anderson is incredible! She is extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and is so great at what she does. I've referred Dr. Anderson to my sister and she completely loves her as well! By far, the best gynecologist I've ever had.
I moved from a small town in Texas to Austin and was very satisfied with dr. Aguirre medical expertise. He was very knowledgeable and understanding to my situation. He spent his time with my surgery to make sure I was comfortable afterwards as well and I'm very thankful that I found him as an OBGYN. Out of all the doctors I've seen I would highly recommend this one to anybody else he wants good care.

I have been seeing Dr Seeker and Nurse Jackie for 3-4 years now. THEY ARE AMAZING, every person on the nursing staff is so kind and attentive (even when the lobby is packed with 50 people).
For 7+ years I was struggling with undiagnosed endometriosis and PCOS/ dysmenorrhea. I used to be totally dysfunctional during my irregular and painful cycles. Dr Seeker was even the surgeon who performed ovarian drilling and laparoscopic removal of endo on me 2 years ago. Now I walk in and out of the office once a year for my annual Pap with no complaints or irregularities. Of course everyone's results are different but my point here is that Dr Seeker and Dr Lockwood took the time to hear me out, listen to my concerns about hormonal birth control and worked with me on my more natural approach.
Dr. Wang makes connection to her patients. I really like her. The service and care of the nurses during my c.section and stay in the hospital are excellent! They took care of us from day one to this last day! I am so happy that I have found her... plus... she did my cut very carefully and my scar is way nicer than my first cut. :)
Dr. Garcia is AMAZING! She is just simply the best. Always encouraging and works with you. Her staff is great and super sweet. Always in right on time and happy to do their jobs. So different from any other office I ve been to. -Quinlyn
I've been a patient of AAOBGYN group since 1991. They have continued to grow, just as Austin has, and are by far the best OB group in town that is completely centered around women's health. All staff are beyond kind and professional.
My experience with Dr. Garcia was fantastic. She is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and concerned for my health and well-being. Her questions and suggestions stemmed from a genuine care for my health, and I never once felt that I wasn t being heard or being pushed to undergo extra diagnostics, which can often be a problem for me.
