I visited Dr. Akin last year after failing to conceive even after consulting with a different gynae. I am glad that I came to know through my insurance about fertility treatment provided by Dr. Akin. I had a deficiency of FSH hormone and the prescribed drug helped along with a successful IUI to get pregnant. I am blessed with a baby boy and I can not thank more to Dr. Akin for the wonderful treatment that he provided. He also spends time to explain the treatment and the nurses are great.

As soon as Dr Seeker walked in I knew he was worth the long drive we have to make. Everything I was told about him is true. He is beyond kind hearted and makes you feel important and heard. He s wonderful and I ve only had one visit so far. Strongly recommend him.
The best doctor I have ever been to. So caring, intelligent, and up to date with the latest in medicine. I hope I never have to go to another OB for any reason. He is truly a kind hearted and genuine person and I tell everyone to go and see him.
His nurses are always very kind and knowledgeable. There are many benefits to seeing him besides great staff- he has a cosmetic medical practice in office as well and other amazing advantages like getting a sonogram each time you have a check up.
It is a very busy office and you do usually have to wait a while in the waiting room to see him- but that s because he delivers all his patients babies and he is running back and forth! On top of that- he never rushes when he is in your appointment. I don t know how he does it, he juggles so much and it never takes away from his quality of professionalism and care. So yes, you wait, but it s because he cares for his patient. And when that patient is you he is spending extra time on- it means a lot.
All in all, I can t say enough good things. God bless doctors and people like Dr. Seeker!
Dr. Seeker is so great! He always has a smile, always happy to see you, and really listens to your questions/concerns. He has so much knowledge and experience that you know your in good hands. He also has the best staff! Everyone in the office is friendly and genuinely interested in you and your kiddo!

I have had many bad experiences over the last few years with all of the doctors I ve seen. Never feeling like I m getting quality care in the least until I went to this office. Dr. Capet and her team always go above and beyond to help me in every way. Jessica her NP is amazing and so helpful. I highly recommend this office.
Great set of doctors and a great practice, very clean and amongst them they provide a wide selection of services. My only issue is that it s extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone and after 3 years of playing phone tag and sitting on hold AT LEAST 30 minutes every time I call, I m leaving the practice for that reason. They do have a callback option, we ll hold your place in line and call you back but every time I have used it I ve received the callback maybe 50% of the time. That leaves me stuck sitting on hold for 30-45 min only to have to leave a message most of the time, then another 2-3 days of phone tag and more waiting on hold to speak to anyone. The last few appointments have taken me multiple days to schedule and that s frustrating and consumes too much energy for such a simple task. I would have absolutely no reason to call if they accepted appointments online, they have an online form for NEW patients to schedule appointments but it won t work for existing patients. The portal is great for sending and receiving messages, lab results, etc but doesn t allow you to make appointments. Hope this helps someone else.
Dr. Seeker/ AAOBGyn and staff are wonderful. During each visit, I am extremely impressed and pleased by their professionalism and care. Nurses are very thorough during the ultrasound/medical updates/details and later followed through by Dr. Seeker.
Where do I start! Came in for my first PAP and read so many reviews as any one who suffers from anxiety would. The original doctor that I saw great reviews about wasn t available for the time I needed so I ended up going with Dr. Capet.
Upon check-in, although I had provided the necessary information - the staff somehow needed it again. This is the whole point of filling out papers and giving insurance info ahead of time. Not a big deal but still.
The wait- it took over an hour to be called back and then once I received a room it took time as well. The staff member before the doctor was super nice no problem.
Overall, Dr. Capet was okay but not gentle at all.
My issue is really with the billing dept and the person who entered codes that they know weren t apart of preventive services. I was very clear in precise with telling the nurse to just do the annual and that I had a high deductible. Dr. Capet confirmed that they would only do the basics that were covered FREE under preventive services. Low and behold I get a bill for several hundreds of dollars. For an ANNUAL?! Come on now - how shady is that.
I call my insurance and they confirm that the codes that were inputted was pretty much straight Bull. Not only pretty much duplicate codes but services that no regular person would sign off on. After playing phone tag with billing they haven t fixed any issue. Even had the lab contact me just to verify the labs sent. The problem isn t with the lab it s with YOU ALL! They show no remorse or ethical code even during COVID when you know that most people can t afford non sense billing errors for an ANNUAL! We aren t talking about giving birth but $700+ for an annual! You all need to fix this ASAP!
I haven't been to the gynecologist in years but the staff at Austin area OBGYN made me feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Akin was very pleasant and professional. The only reason I give a 4-star and not a 5 star is because it's just not fun to go to any gynecologist. Smile
Every visit is a 5 star we love the front desk Lexi is awesome the nurses nurse Avery and new to the team nurse Anna and of course Dr. Aguirre is always awesome and helps us keep a peace of mind knowing we have a genuine Doctor through this journey!!
Dr Anderson is the best she made me feel So comfortable during my exam would definitely recommend her. Everytime i see her it always seems like i am talking to my girlfriend. Will definitely keep seeing her for years. I just love her
Dr. Landherr, her nurses and technicians are unparalleled in their compassion and eagerness to help the patient to feel calm and cared for.
Dr. Landherr is obviously highly intelligent and knows how to listen and communicate clearly two qualities which are often the bane of the medical field. She also has great empathy that is rare in a doctor. She has a particular quality of strength that is so rare in the medical field once it is lost, which is to remain emotionally open to patients while being able to selectively cut off emotions for those crucial decisions that can t be made with emotion. She is an anomaly in a field where not many doctors ever return from the necessary skill to emotionally cut-off from patients and events. This isn t hyperbole; Dr. Landherr is the definition of what it means to be a great doctor who always returns to the most basic aspect of medical care to care. Thank you Dr. Landherr and staff for you top-notch care, knowledge and skill! C
Dr Capet is great. Very nice office. In and out quickly. She keeps up to date on her medical info following studies and she's very openminded, not judgmental.
Love everything about this place. Except my husband brought his service dog in & was told he NEEDED TO WEAR his service vest..... My dog doesn't need it. I have his service dog card with me.
There is no one warmer, smarter and more wonderful than Dr. Wang, period. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is because she does seem to be birthing the babies of every woman in Austin which can often pose unexpected delays/waiting a while in your robe in the room...but clearly it is worth it as I continue to go back and wait; she is worth waiting for. :)
I drive a bit farther than I have to JUST to see Dr. Wang....she is the very best out there and always makes you feel comfortable and treats you like a friend. She is absolutely amazing!
First visit, so was worried it was just gonna be a consultation. It was not! She listened and conversed with me and even though the bloodwork wouldn't be perfect, still took some to kind of get a starting baseline. I feel confident that things will start getting better for me soon! Thanks!

I have been a patient of Dr. Cowan for several years. He and his staff are professional, compassionate and friendly. You couldn't ask for a better team of medical professionals taking care of you. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Dr. Anderson and her staff are always so incredible! The environment is not sterile feeling at all. There may be a little bit of a wait time, but that s because she is SO wonderful and takes her time with each patient. 10/10 always!
** This review is not directed at Dr. Landherr directly as it's not her fault. I only have positive things to say about her as a doctor, so please keep that in mind. I am writing this in my 22nd week of pregnancy. Over this past weekend, I received a giant bill from AAO and thought that maybe they just didn't apply insurance to it correctly. I thought this because on EVERY bill I have ever received from AAO, insurance had not had applied correctly. Anyway, I gave them a call and quickly learned that it was actually a bill for my delivery deposit. I had heard of delivery deposits before so I wasn't completely shocked, but I was surprised at the fact that I had just now received it and it was due very soon. *Please note, this is my first baby and I am not familiar with how all of this stuff works.* They told me that I should have received this a long time ago and that they truly don't know what happened. I was shocked at how much I was about to have to pay without much notice but figured I'd throw it on a credit card if that was my only option. However, later I received a call informing me that not only did I actually owe more (DUE TODAY), but that if I gave birth here then my insurance would not cover it. This is a huge shock to me and words cannot describe how upset I am. Not only do I have to find a new hospital, but I have to start this ENTIRE process over with a new OB at 22 weeks (probably further along because I have to wait for an appointment). On top off all of that, at my last appointment, I was told that I have to see a specialist because they didn't get a good look at the baby. So not sure what I'm supposed to do about transferring all of that, but I suppose that it's not AAO's problem anymore (not that they really showed much sympathy anyway). Most of all, I'm also not sure why they didn't inform me of all of this way earlier, but it is what it is. With all of this said, I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone come here. The waits are long and the disorganization has caused me so much distress in this pregnancy. I wish I would have gone somewhere else because now I have to start all over. I assume anywhere I transfer to is going to want a deposit ASAP because I didn't have the luxury for finding all of this out back when I should have. So thank you very much AAO. You've completely screwed me in more ways than one. Best of luck to anyone who decides to come here.
UPDATED: A whole month later, this place finally "resolved" my issue. They decided that the panel I explicitly did not ask for was simply a "miscommunication" so I am still being forced to pay over a hundred dollars for this panel. If this doctor listened for a second instead of pushing me out the door, it would be clear that I needed no testing of this sort. DO NOT GO HERE. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I honestly don't get how this place has such stellar reviews. Getting an appointment was quick, and getting checked in was equally quick. That is the only thing that went correct.
Otherwise, Dr. Aguirre made me feel really rushed when describing my symptoms. I felt like I was being ignored. The appointment was fast, and I was basically pushed out and vaguely told to try another birth control pill.
This all bothered me, but I'm writing this because on Friday I received a bill in the mail of $150 for STD tests I explicitly told Dr. Aguirre I did not want or need. I was so obviously ignored in every way. This place isn't open on the weekend so I had to wait until yesterday to attempt getting this settling. I called and was transferred to the billing department, which apparently only allows you to leave a message for them to get back to you. I have no idea if they'll call me back.
AA OBGYN has made me feel ignored at every step, and that feeling is especially hard when dealing with a difficult, upsetting condition.
I would recommend OBGYN North, right across the street. I went there after I had been skirted by Dr. Aguirre. I was actually listened to there, and that doctor didn't put me through a bunch of useless tests I knew I didn't need.
Also, as a side note, I felt really uncomfortable upon entering AA OBGYN to see a pharmaceutical representative sign-in sheet right at the front desk. I can't imagine how many "big pharma" reps go in daily to sell expensive meds if you need a sign-in sheet to keep up with that. And seeing how I got a random bill for medical work, it seems like this place is a big money grabber.
Love this place! Dr Capet & Schoening are fantastic!! They take the time to be thorough and make sure everything is taken care of! Can't imagine going anywhere else!
Dr Garcia is, hands down, the best doctor (of any specialty) I ve ever had. She takes the time to explain things throughly and comes up with a plan of action. I feel extremely lucky to be one of her patients.
Lori Dobbin is the best! She always puts in effort to connect personally by asking about my life, and remembers details about my hobbies and interests. She makes me feel so comfortable and cared for. Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I had our first visit with Dr. Landherr this morning and we were both extremely happy with the experience. She was really understanding and very kind regarding my fear of having a second miscarriage, going above and beyond to give me what peace of mind she could. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and addressed every concern. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and I really feel like I'm going to get great care with this office. We really appreciated the kindness shown to us during this monumental time in our lives.
Dr. Seeker is simply the best. From my very first annual appointment with him to having him deliver my first baby just a week ago, I have had nothing but sweet and pleasant encounters with him and his staff. He is so gentle, kind, helpful, and thorough at appointments, and the second he walked into the room to deliver my baby, my husband and I felt such a sense of calm come over us as he talked us through everything that was happening and went above and beyond to give us a great experience. I love how much excitement and enthusiasm he shows for his work and how he takes so much time to be with his patients, despite his busy schedule. He is so worth anyone's time!!

I have been with Dr. Wang for 10 years. I have recommended her to friends, coworkers, and neighbors. Everyone always comes back happy with my recommendation. She recently delivered my first (and only baby) and I felt compelled to write this review. Dr. Wang came in on her day off to deliver my baby- 13 hours of labor. I pushed for two and half hours- the longest, most challenging thing I've ever done. Dr. Wang patiently coached me and was my cheerleader throughout the entire process. She somehow managed to keep her energy levels up and bring enthusiasm for every push. Dr. Wang has made my journey to motherhood truly memorable and I'm so grateful to share it with her.
Dr. Capet is an excellent physician, not only in her medical skills but in patient care also. Her nursing team and NP, Jessica, are also top notch. Highly recommend.
