Aurora solar

Aurora is an excellent program to provide design help and financial calculations for solar. They're constantly improving the software by providing new features. Their latest smart roof tool has dramatically reduced their previous learning curve issues. It's much easier to use, but still requires a lot of practice.

Aurora Solar has made great strides in making a solar professional's job a lot easier. They continue to improve this tool and give great advice through their blog posts.

Love the ability of the heat map and the layout of it, great customer service, speedy response!

Hands down the best design tool on the solar market, and the technical support group is fantastic!

Excellent product and support for anyone serious about solar sales.

Purchased Aurora in September of last year. Still does not work correctly and we have been on calls and training sessions multiple times. Told they are fixing errors but still does not work or calculate correctly, not to mention it is extremely slow. Messaged them for a refund and they said they don't give refunds. So if you buy it and it never works they evidently they do not care. There is still 6 months left and they won't even give me the remainder of the time on the contract back. So now we are out $2600 and have to pay for other software that will actually work! Received a call today and now they are saying that they can't even find our trouble tickets. So we have been having issues for 6 months, working on them as much as possible (Customer service is horrible and takes day or weeks to talk to anyone) and they don't even have records of it. Was told by a gentleman today that they will not give a refund of any kind unless I give them more of our time to get it fixed. You had 6 months! When asked if they stand behind their product I was told they do. Doesn't seem like it to me. I tried being reasonable and told them yes we used it for the pretty pictures for 6 months (never used it for a proposal once) so we will only ask for half back. Was told that they won't even do that.

The Aurora Support team was quick to answer my questions via email, and set me up with an appointment with a specialist to go over a project I was having issues with. Giovanna, the specialist I met with, was very knowledgeable of the software and provided a clear tutorial on how to resolve the issues I was encountering. Overall it was a seamless experience

The company I work for uses Aurora Solar daily. This morning we experienced an error when trying to access auroras site so we emailed in. Not only did they respond within 5 minutes, but they were able to explain what the issue was and assure us that it would be back up and running shortly. I d like to note that in over a year of using aurora, we ve rarely ever had instances like this where we couldn t access their site/the site was down.
