I saw Hooded here recently and I loved it. It is so refreshing to see theater that is fresh and is not shy away from touchy subject matter. Please keep it up. I hope that the next play Life Sucks is as good.

The lobby was too small for the size of the gathering of the Miscast ticket holders, so it was uncomfortable waiting to be seated. Once you are seated though, you are immersed into.the show.

If you get the chance to check out Miscast next year, I highly recommend it. Such a fun mixup of performances with a wonderful cast and crew raising money to support a program that helps Denver actors with their medical bills.

Especially now you need to be close to the action due to vision or hearing concerns.

Symphony played Gershwin here, we sat in the back of the balcony in the middle and the sound was fine. Great preformance by the symphony. Gershwin is hard to play as there are many interesting change ups. Cannot see the musicians that well from there but the view of the entire hall is great. Wesley Leffingwell was fantastic! Piano. All our thanks goes to Norman Gamboa, Conductor.

Great local theater that doesn't shy away from controversial topics. I recently saw HOODED OR BEING BLACK FOR DUMMIES and I really enjoyed how they were able to weave together humor and social and racial issues in a really powerful way. The theater is small, but it is great for really connecting with the actors on stage. Do yourself a favor and catch a show and support local theater!

Queens Girl in the World was a great show and actress. Socially distant seating and skipped intermission due to Covid. Didn't have to touch anything unnecessarily. Had free water since bar was not open. Very nice experience. Very thankful to have this place.

This theatre is exactly what you would expect going to a small community theatre in Aurora. As long as you accept it for what it is, you won't be disappointed.

The amenities here are somewhat lacking. The chairs in the theatre itself are oddly small. There are no cup holders either. The lobby got pretty packed before they let everyone into theatre. The drink prices were much more reasonable than any of the downtown theatres though ($4 for a basic wine or beer versus the $6+ downtown),

We saw American Idiot here and really enjoyed the show itself. They did start it about 5-10 minutes late, which I guess is normal for this theatre. We weren't in a rush to start watching it right at 7:30 so it didn't really bother us.

One thing that I thought was a nice touch: we got an email the day of the show from Ignite Theatre, thanking us for choosing them, telling us when we could arrive, and letting us know where to park. It even included a link to the little parking map on their website, highlighting the best parking locations.

Considering the production value and ticket prices, we'll definitely return.

I did not visit here ... I visit ; EZ PAWN , which was very interesting because of a particular African-American Man; whom I have never seen there before ... It was a great experience because he was very and it was a FUNNY experience.

This is a lovingly maintained old theater in the heart of Aurora. It is a small, intimate venue that hosts wonderful live theatre events throughout the year. Parking is sometimes a challenge, but if you are there on the weekends you can use the city lot next door.

I've seen two musicals here, and both were wonderful. The theatre troupe that is in residence here is talented and puts their own touch to the stories they portray. Their production of "Dracula", around Halloween 2016, was very well produced (the larger gent who played "the American" almost stole the show with his smarmy portrayal, as did the mousey actor playing Van Helsing).

Prices for these showings were moderate, "off-Broadway" pricing not out of line for the quality of the productions. Set pieces are imaginative, and they do a lot with the narrowish stage they have in the building.

In general, bravo for a big-city theatre experience in a small-town like venue. I await my next trip out East on Colfax for another pleasant night of theatre!

The Aurora Fox never ceases to amaze. They put on high quality productions every time. It is a nice intimate theater to see a play. Some plays and musicals make you laugh, cry or think and some do all three.

Its the worst place to take a child learning how to do stage plays. They proctect the bullies and not the victims. My granddaughter is an eight year who was attacked by a bully and I was asked not to enter the building anymore because I complained. My granddaughter was not the only one being bullied but she was the youngest. So we pulled her from the Adventure of Alice in Wonderland play this summer 2018.

Went to see "high hat Hattie" and was not disappointed. High quality production with a ton of talent, hosted in a lovely space to boot. Some technical difficulties, but mostly minor. Great gem in the city of Aurora.

It is a nice venue and they have great shows. However, they started the show 15 minutes late and the seats are miserably uncomfortable. If you have broad shoulders, be prepared to squeeze them in!

I had a wonderful time at the fox and it was my first time there. And for the rest of the cast awesome I especially liked the use of kids!!!

We were long time patrons of the Fox. We ended up becoming season ticket holders and the first few shows were great. Then a mistake by the staff left us unable to see a show we had a reservation/ticket for. Most of the staff were extremely apologetic, but the main woman I ended up speaking to who arranged all of our dates for the season (who actually made the error) was defensive and practically blamed me for the mistake. She offered a free show as the other show was no longer available. What she didn't offer was a genuine apology. She was unable to accept responsibility for her error. We never returned. Sorry, we will stick with DCPA and the Arvada Center at this point. We wanted to support local theatre, but you don't treat us like that and expect a returning patron.
