I understand there is a lot of covid. But, it took 12 hours to been and, one nurse was very rude. They could have told us there was a 9 hour wait when we got there, not after we had sat there for 5 hours.

I want to thank the entire staff at the hospital. Today we made an emergency trip that ended in surgery and discharge. We were treated by the best. Every single person we encountered in the hospital was so polite, knowledgeable, and went out of there way to make our visit comfortable. We were very amazed by the speedy service but with 100% accuracy. hats off to an outstanding team of people thank you so much. May you smile each day knowing you made our horrible day end in us knowing we chose the right place for our loved one. THANK YOU EVERYONE .
17 hour wait time for the ER right now. Front desk staff condescending, as usual. If you're in serious pain consider your options. This place should be shut down. They can't provide adequate service in a timely manner. It's no way to run a business. It's pathetic.
I was completely unaware of medical debt from Aultman Hospital until I was notified by a debt collector. Aultman literally never once billed me or let me know what I owed before selling my debt to a collector. The debt collector got paid in full the same day I received their first bill but sure enough it is now a stain on my credit history. Had Aultman simply sent me a bill for what I owed, they would have been paid the same day it arrived as well. Perhaps this hospital should consider actually contacting its patients before selling off debt at a loss to a collection agency and potentially harming their patients financial well being in the process. A single notification, whether it be a phone message, e-mail, or bill through the mail could have had you paid immediately!
If I could give NO stars I would. The staff is rude and are not very helpful with information. The hospital itself is run poorly. If I would have went home the third time they tried to tell me it was anxiety, I would have died from my gallbladder exploding. I had pancreatitis and had to go to a smaller off site emergency room just to get fluids. I wouldn t recommend this place unless you have time to chill and die
We received great care and made the birth of my son easy and comfortable for my wife and I. We don t really have any complaints about the hospitality or medical treatment we received.
I am giving this hospital 1 star because of their visiting policy. I understand that COVID-19 has placed a lot of restrictions on visitation but we were only allowed 2 visitors at a time in the room.
This meant I wasn t allowed to be in the room when my parents met my first child for the first time. I wasn t the one who introduced them to my son for the first time. I didn t get to see their reactions and be a part of that experience. I had to sit out in the lobby and text my wife. I will never get this moment back and it crushed me inside. I understand limiting the visitors but it should be the wife, husband and baby, and then 2 visitors. My wife was in the room when she introduced her parents to our son but I wasn t allowed to be.
So Aultman, thank you for the wonderful medical care and taking care of my wife and son, but f you for taking away that experience.
I wanted to thank you guys so much for always taking such good care of my family. You re the one hospital I know I can rely on to take care of everyone I love. My grandma was recently there to get her gallbladder removed, such wonderful staff and doctors. Helped her understand the procedure as well as being patience with her and explaining things over again due to her memory loss. I ve never seen such service from a hospital before. The nurses went above and beyond to help her and her needs and never hesitated to check in on her every once and awhile. I recommend this place to everyone. Not only will you be treated greatly but you ll also have a wonderful support system.
I could not believe the experience I had in this place.
- EIGHTEEN HOUR WAIT TIME. Hope you aren't having a cardiac event like I was when I came for care and was turned away.
- Staff extremely unfriendly. Probably in part because...
- A drunken homeless man was allowed to shout obscenities and threats of violence at other patients and staff, meanwhile the security guards stood around with their hands literally in their pockets. This went on for HOURS.
- I actually was at the hospital a day earlier to have bloodwork and a chest x-ray done. I asked if they could use that and was told yes. Minutes later, they drew new blood, took a new x-ray, and then sent me to the waiting room, where I sat for 5 hours before being told I'd be sitting for 13 more. In other words, I'm sure these people intend to charge me for new x-rays and bloodwork even though they had both on record, not even 24 hours old. They lied to me.
- I will say the patient relations lady who came around was great. I told her I appreciated her and what the staff does, and I do, despite the attitude problems many had. Still, her explaining that the hospital had abnormally high wait times did not actually help me during a terrifying medical emergency. I feel for her, as I saw two patients verbally abuse the woman. I do appreciate her coming around, though, even though it made no difference in the experience. She has a very unenviable job.
- The online patient portal does not work. I truly have no idea what my results of anything I have ever had done at this hospital is.
- You know the x-ray I had to pay for TWICE? Yeah, they didn't send either to my doctor. A month later and I'm STILL trying to get it into my family physician's hands. I'm not playing the role of middleman, trying to coordinate faxes between two medical entities.
My dad was brought in my EMS to the ED for confusion. They stuck him OUTSIDE of the waiting room away from everyone and all by himself, by a door??? I found him alone and confused. If I didn t get there in time he could ve gotten outside and been seriously hurt or lost. He was having chest pains and I thought maybe a stroke. Every single person I had talked to lacked any ounce of compassion or even being slightly friendly. This was the ABSOLUTE worst healthcare experience I ve ever been through. This place should be throughly investigated it is unsafe and I plan on reporting it to every outlet I can. STAY AWAY!!! Not to mention it took over 8 hours to even get a bed in the ER. If I could give -10 stars I would. Covid or not this place is unsafe
They keep sending me duplicates of bills with different amounts "covered" by insurance. When I look at my insurance claim records nothing shows up for the claim. They send me bills 4 months after the services have been rendered. They split up their bills so you get 4 different bills for 1 service ranging from $1000 to $0.55 and some bills have the same service charged twice. Then they send another bill with two services on it, one of which you already paid. Their billing office is a dumpster fire so be very careful about tracking your bills.
