Short Story: Woefully Incompetent, would not trust "repair" but rather replacement of parts.
Long story: Left a laptop to get inspected, as per manufacturer advisement. Techs did a system board replacement which proved unnecessary. Serial number is tied to system board (this is important for future warranty repairs). Since the repair changed nothing I came in and installed a part myself. Service tech calls me after a few weeks to tell me that my proper serial number cannot be reinstated into the new board (Great, how will I get my repairs done going forward?) and told me that "they" installed the part I came in to do myself. Above this they said the laptop was in unrepairable condition and they should have never attempted the "repair" (excuse me, what did they repair?) in the first place. The laptop had a non working touchpad, hinge was slightly crooked and few screws missing. All of this took around a month and a half.
They come off polite in the beginning but are prone to being disingenuous.
After the fact I realized that my cpu fan was not working whereas prior to bringing it here it was.
I will give them this, though, the application of thermal paste must be good because my laptop is reading ~ 52 degrees celsius idle and under load has been thermal throttled to under 100 degrees.I will clearly need to reattach the cpu fan or find another one if mine is damaged.
I also realized one of the connections to the WAN card was left loose.
