Auburn Robert G. Pitts Airport Reviews

I visit my daughter in Auburn and love to use AUO. The young ladies and gentlemen that work here have always been enthusiastic and seem genuinely interested in aviation. Great fuel prices for the region especially full service. I have read complaints about the student pilots, but seriously? These students are learning just like all of us had to. If you get here on a beautiful day, there will be traffic. I'm glad to see the activity and it sharpens the situational awareness using an active non-towered airport. Just be patient, stay sharp, and help everyone improve.

Went to field trip here. Nice place, awesome planes, and polite instructors.

Also, we saw gus malzahn take off for the sec championship right as we got there

This is where my dad learned to fly, and we went over thier. Kinda sad that we couldnt go in without clearance, but that is understandable
