Auburn Police Department Review

I've been a resident of Auburn for quite a while now, almost 25 years, and in my younger years dealing with Auburn pd I wouldn't say they did their job as good as many departments. They used to have some pretty bad officers on the force but seem to have weeded a lot of them out. That being said, there still seems to be that same ol attitude that many arrogant cops have when they carry the gun and badge with a power hungry mentality. Every department in this country needs to be retrained in LAW (including the Auburn police department) and actually obey the LAW, not think they're above the LAW just because they wear a costume and carry a badge and a gun. Auburn pd is getting better, but they still have a long way to go as far as training officers to obey the same laws the rest of us regular citizens MUST obey to show they are a trustworthy police department. I hope to see some good change in the Auburn pd in the near future because I would love to give my police department more than 2 stars, but until that change happens, 2 is all they'll get from me.

Live in auburn, have a need for your local police, and be disappointed...

Wallet stolen at local market 45 minutes later no contact from auburn police...have called at house several times about theft no show by auburn police..cat killed on my porch by stray pit bull... No show by auburn police.then you wonder why we try to protect ourselves cuz your not interested

Absolute trash as usual, but hey ACAB so can t expect much from these thugs.

Uncooperative with the public. Why? Because they can, no accountability! Most police departments are excellent, but Auburn needs new leadership, its ALWAYS been bad!

They were very gentle when they handcuffed me, patrol vehicles are incredibly roomy. Overall, very professional. Will be arrested by them again, for sure.

Don't trust Auburn police. They don't trust you. To them, everyone is suspicious and interrogated like a criminal.

I am community manager here in Auburn for several sites some in high drug crime area. I have to give huge shout out to Officer Cordova who has always been very responsive in professional manner. APD has been on my side last 4 years and have to say I am impressed on the response I receive

I think our law enforcement team happens to be very good at what they do. They know priority and they are very understanding and that takes a lot!

Good work in public safety. I see them all over the troubled streets, keeping things safe and deterring crime. The officers of Auburn are very polite and well kept together. Doing the job.

Officer Bush was 1 of the 2 officers who responded.
He was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME, professionalism was outstanding and he was super friendly towards us and the tresspasser.

Wish I could give 0 I was locked out of my car verry young kitten inside no shoes due to them being in the car and so was my phone keys etc. And dome light on I had stopped to clean up an accident my cat had in her carrier (#2 and it was smelly I had to ) a man was hovering near my driver door as I cleaned up her mess and so I presswd thw lock to ensure he didnt enter thw vehicle from thw driver side as I cleaned from passenger side when I finished I being the human I am made thw mistake of closing the door after I had locked the car while cleaning and was just stranded ... I desperately needed help and they spent maybe 2 min to tell me I'm sol and to play the 140$ I don't have or bust my own window ... I'm still paying on this car I just got it and I am 22 I can't just fome up with all this money ... They left ... They left a 22 female with no phone no help no shoes and a kitten in a locked car ... In beyond confused and just shaken up as I was approached and pressured by local delinquents to try to unlock causing damage to my car and when I aaked tgese boys to stop as the dents deepend and paint scraped away and my window nearly busted from being hit with their leather man on accident ... I didnt even have a phonw to call the police when these boys snapped at me to back off my own car and let them handle it because I had nothing but ahorts and a tank on my person entirely I didnt argue they where Socratic they rupped my antenna off after being told to just move along and leave me be that if wait for help auburn pd said they're cone back for me yet they passed by many times and ignored me as I tried waving them down .. In the end a triple a agent getting gas near me decided to save me hours after I'd Ben completely screwed and unsafe at 1 am I am just gettung home at 34t am ... I can't beleive they left a young woman alone bare foot with nothing not even a phone and didnt even think twice ... Protecting and serving ? I'd have to say I dont think so as I felt unsafe stranded a kitten was in a car for a long time and they didnt care ... they leff me on my own and I'm no baby or anything but it isn't the nicest area and they knew I didnt even have a phone ... Also the man in shell said no shoes no service so his phone wasnt an option ... I became afraid to stick up formyself being so vulnerable and now my car is damaged .... Apd ahou3ld never have left me with no way to get help etc. Dissapointed

I had accident, girl hit me while I was stopped at light, when I try to take pictures of her car, The cop yelled on me, I did not figure out why He yelled on me, I was really hurt. Very disappointed his attitude

They are sub human no compassion or empathy, ignorant, biased, and power hungry. Completely corrupt and enjoyed destroying my home and family as a victim to be victimized further by police there after being harassed and threatened and beaten and attempted to be further set up I have nothing left. They even laughed when they hurt my.dog and he yelped and although he was licensed and hiding under my bed took him to the shelter as a stray where he would be properly disposed of according to law. They even lied and filed an ammended complaint at the court clerk office two weeks before the sctual incident and 911 call happened so the month and both digits were accidentally on purpose wrong and I mean that is fraudulent. Someone needs to arrest these guys. The lawyers clerk and judges couldn't see it I had to say it on the day before trial? No and where is the original complaint I wonder what the date was In that? They destroy Innocent people's lives. They threatened ne with arrest because the benches hurt me and I had sat there all day with no food or ride disabled and sick and in pain to force me to testify against someone who had hurt me and I know they were not going to keep me safe from him either. They don't know how to investigate anything and break the laws more than anyone I have seen.
