Attitash (American Skiing Co Review

This place is well worth the trip. Once you've ridden the Mountain Coaster and Alpine Slides once, you don't mind the long lines and wait. The views of nearby mountains and time to chat with friends and family make it worth it. Can't wait to go back!!

Bike trails: rough and rowdy! Not a place for beginners. Great fun if you like steep rocky trails

Lots of fun. The waterslides we're difficult to use with a child under 42 inches since he couldn't use it, otherwise a great day of adventuring for everyone!

ZIP TOUR: this is a review of the longest Zip Line at Attitash. I have done a few zip tours recently and I found this one to be mildly fun. If you've never done one I'm sure you'll find it a thrill - but the fun lasts just a few minutes. Other zip tours I have done involve some off-road vehicle, climbing some treetop platforms, hiking thought the forest and it's pretty thrilling for an hour or so. This was very efficient: you take a chairlift to the top, launch off a platform and whizz down - very high and very fast - until to slow yourself as you approach the bottom platform. It's fun but not my favorite.

The resort is a quaint place located right at the base of the mountain. Some rooms have better views and I recommend finding one that looks toward the mointain. The rooms are decorated in new England cozy fashion.

27 years I have ben going there I love it but dont go any vacation week its crammed and the mountain is slammed

The service and rooms are great can't wait to visit again

My family loves it here. Especially the mountain coaster. Hi early though. The line gets long.

Make sure to check the weather before going to Alpine Slide area.

Nice people who run the gates and lifts year-round. Amazing views and trails

Great terrain nice trail layout. The summit triple is painfully slow and it accesses some of the best trails on the mountain. Bear peak's HSQ makes up for it though. They do a great job grooming but I wish they would leave Tim's and Ptarmigan's ungroomed regularly

Our accommodations were clean and well cared for. We came to see the leaves and as we had hoped they were beautiful. We use the swimming pool and spa when afternoon and again they were well cared for and clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The lady at the front desk was the most rude ignorant and despicable woman I have ever met. We paid the hotel in full and they did not allow us to stay because we are not 21. However I checked into this hotel twice at the age of 18 and had no problems. They refused to give us a refund and we had to demand a manager. Horrible clientel

Awesome experience with the kids. The mountain coasters are absolutely amazing and breathtaking and worth every penny.

Loved the mountain. A lot of wide well groomed slopes for your long turns or short slalom like turns. Also try the bear peak for fast skiing. The Grand summit resort is the place to stay for ski in and ski out

Skied here all of my high school life. Couldn't recommend it enough, but you have to know the spots.

Great place to hang out love the jacuzzi bath and the balcony is great for reading even when it rains

Lots of ice. Didn't like it. Anyway it's great mountain overall. Have to try it after snow again.

The woman in the front desk are so rude. Washing machine never been clean, when we used it there's sand inside and outside. Some studio room are small. but honest house keeping, last time I left my laptop they mailed it to me.

Our room was perfect. King bed, in room spa tub, fireplace, private balcony. We ventured into the hot tub one night and enjoyed ourselves in the single digits weather. Place was close enough to all the really good restaurants and town.

My parents are timeshare owners, so I have been coming to Attitash Mountain Village for the last 25 years. There is so much to do here, so many things so close, and the cleanliness of the units is always top notch. Now my parents get to share this place with my kids, and they love it as I do. I plan on many more years here.

This is a wonderful place to go so much you can do there weather it be with her or summer ...def worth taking a vacation here with the family you'll love it

Truly a NH Live Free or Die situation. We had a lot of fun mind you. But my husband also tore a lot of skin off on the alpine slides & if he hadn't been thinking quicker my 5 yo could have been seriously injured. Workers at rides don't pay much attention to you or safety regulations, which also makes me wonder about facility maintenance. We won't be back. But if your a thrill seeker you might enjoy it a lot.

Nowhere to store rented skies so you have to bring with you! Slow lifts.

Every time I come up to NH I make it a GOAL to come back here. If you are in the area looking for something to do come here and do the slide. The $18 is well worth it.

Their Mountain Coaster is soooo much fun!!! We were finally able to ride it this trip, 3rd times is a charm! It was definitely worth the trip! Can't wait to go back again next yr. We well do it 3 times each!!! It was AWESOME!!!

A lot of fun, multiple things to do, alpine slide, individual Mtn coaster, 2ski lifts, a beach, and several things for smaller kids..

This is one crazy slide. Oh wait, ALPINE SLIDE! ALPINE SLIDE! ALPINE SLIDE! The fourth slide I've done in the past month and like the 12 or 13th lifetime. Re-injured ankle from four year ago lutsen slide. Fast fast fast and slick as ever. Largest drop I've ever hit. Ride ride with caution. Long sleeve and pant highly recommend.

Nice location and a great getaway from the stress of the daily grind. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very helpful.

If i could give less, I would, my wife was injured previous day at wildcat (superior ski,)
She sat on deck at attitash while I skied so not to waste trip and multi day passes. Was completely ignored by server outside and bartender inside because she was alone? Did not buy food? Don't know. She had a knee brace on and was securing my boots while I skied. Treated very shabbily.

Great variety of terrain and grooming. Only negative is the convoluted lift setup. With Bear Peak, there is a lot of great skiing here.

Beautiful location. Excellent hiking and walking in the fall. This was a great base for all the day trips we took.

Alex was amazing and let my party ride the Alpine slide again because we were stuck behind a timid lil kid. He made the experience so much better than for it!

Something to do for all ages &all types of people! Great place for families or just a wknd away with friends or special wknd with your mate. There's a playground, tennis courts, basketball hoop, volleyball court, plenty of hiking trails &in that brings you to the Sacco river. They also have an outdoor pool with a seating area for eating &an indoor pool, &in that building theres an arcade room with pool tables, a Sauna room, bathrooms with showers &a nice restaurant &bar upstairs next to the office with indoor &outdoor seating. Also ABSOLUTELY Amazing &Breathtaking views just about everywhere you go &everywhere you look. The office also has things like fishing poles or tennis rackets you can barrow if your staying there. My family &I love going here &look foward to it every year. Its a great place for everyone that everyone can enjoy

The room was so nice! We had a great service woman who helped us with the hot water and brought us more towels. We were a little under stocked with paper goods.

Great day. Kids had fun on all of the activities. Even the medical staff was attentive when my daughter skinned her knee on the Alpine Slide. Staff on all activities were friendly and helpful with kids and adults.

in the winter conditions are usually spot on. getting inbetween peaks can be a hassle for snowboarders but aside from that, what a beautiful resourt. Summertime fun is coupled with ziplines and thrills that are top notch. Highly recomend.

There for over an hour and couldn't get in any of the Alpine rides. They gave us a credit but not sure I'll wanna go back.

It was terrible spent a hundred dollars and only got to ride slide 3 times and coaster twice I understand about rain but will not be visiting any time in near future traveled over 3 hours to get their was very disappointed

Attitash is fun great terrain. Nice variety with the two peaks. However the old fixed grip summit triple chair is painful to go on . Hopefully new owners will address this elephant in the room.

We stay here every year. Great location for exploring sites.

My family and have been on this mtn for 30 yrs. My daughter grew up on skis here and is a level 2 instructors. Good advanced skiers mtn.

A lot of fun trails and a pretty good price, especially considering you get two mountains (Attitash and Bear) for the price of one - or three if you consider that you can also ride Wildcat on the same pass. However, when we went the top lift was broken and one other lift wasn't operating for reasons the mountain staff didn't make clear. We went on a Friday/Saturday. Friday was pretty good as the sun was out and the trails were either groomed, or had retained the snow from the previous night. However, Saturday skiing was mediocre at best. Very few if any of the trails had been freshly groomed, so riding was icey and/or choppy. The bathrooms were also pretty disgusting. As I said, the price is reasonable for what you get, but unless you are riding a small, budget mountain, it seems reasonable to expect the accommodations to be updated and clean. Unfortunately, Attitash's lodges are not that.
