The resort was cozy and rural, allowing for the time and space to relax and unwind. There was free Wi-Fi and good TV service. The rooms were fairly compact but had all the necessary amenities (including a jacuzzi tub). Moreover, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful (they showed no judgement when asking for six extra packs of coffee ). Their game-room, exercise room, and pool are all child friendly and very chill. The only problem is that there are no buffets close-by and the nearest stores are between 20-30 minutes drive away. Still, I'd say it's good for for people of all ages and families of all kinds.
10 out of 10, would recommend

Get an express lift to the peak. Honestly it is the one thing that keeps me from wanting to go here. Bear Peak is just too short to stay there all day and without an express lift to Attitash peak there is too much preferable competition nearby.

I have been staying here for as long as I remember. Situated at the base of Mt Attitash, and on RT 302, give this amazing vacation spot unparalleled views with awesome local activities just down the road. This resort has a fabulous indoor and outdoor pool, a rec room and multiple outdoor activities for both winter and summer. Most of the property is well maintained, and the suits are just as roomy as they are comfortable. I have never had a bad stay here and always look forward to returning.

Summer experience: Been there twice over the years. I only do the slide and mountain coaster. If you are afraid of heights, these will help break that..just focus on the track not the awesome view!

The water slide looked cool and I am told by my friends the zip line is awesome!

In the summer be sure to wear sun screen and a hat you can secure (or use the lockers) as the wind can rip it off as you tear down the mountain.

The place is clean and the staff appear trained and safety conscious. I only rate it four because as my choices were a bit limited. If you have kids you might give a five.

Hubby, grandson, and I went up to Attitash to ride the ski lift and go down the alpine slide for the very first time. Great experience. Had a great time. All the fall colors were so beautiful especially with a bird's eye view at the top and while going up the ski lift. Going down the alpine was so much fun and felt totally safe. Our only complaint is we wish there was an all day bracelet you could buy to go one as many times as you want. Like for $50. We would go much more often. :) The employees were all friendly.

It was ok. Wish they had a shuttle bus to pick up and drop off at the ski slopes. The room was heated by a gas fire place and would trun on and off all night. The bed was not that comfortable. And the check-in process sucks as the slopes close at 4 and check-in is at 4, so there is a crowd trying to check-in untill 5:30 or so.

We only went on the alpine slide, it was fun but the wait time is a little on the long side. They have a good deal after 3 pm $35 per person, unlimited access to everything. Next time we will be sure to go after 3pm.

We went to Attitash for the Alpine slide and ended up doing that, the mountain coaster and the scenic lift at bear peak. Their rides are deceiving in that they just keep going up and up! Very exciting!

Great sking , trails groomed well besides the ones marked not groomed. Their is 2 peaks to this mountain the main one and bear peak which is connected . Bear peak was especially fun with alot of off trail sking and trails with tricks and jumps. Overall game had a great time , bathrooms were clean , their store was well stocked and organized. The cafe was nice compared to most lodges. I would recommend this mountain above most others in the area

Fam Favorite for 30yrs, 1st place we ALL learned to ski. All kids learned through ski lessons here.
It may be pricey but we love the luxury guest homes, up on Blueberry hill is it? Best #1 was the Monroe House, to be there every thanksgiving & new yrs was our tradition for 13yrs! Its now unavail. Suited family of 14 people, very comfortably. Townhouse are also nice options. We always go for the 2 floor townhouses, suites our large fam.
We also vaca in Summer for the Mountain Coaster & to swim in the Saco,(5min walk in the woods from townhouses)

Great place to spend the day, but fairly expensive for the lack of variety compared to amusement parks of the same price, the real value of the visit is in the hour round trip up the mountain. The view is well worth the time and money.

The lines where slow it took 30 min to get to the front of the line and then the slide broke. They where fixing it with bondo and had a extra wait for repairs of 15 or more minutes. All other lines seemed to double in size and where just as slow after the slide went down.

Have a timeshare here that we bought way back in the mid 80's! Love the unit and the restaurant located on premises! Good pub food at reasonable prices! Lots of activities on site and across the road. Storyland is nearby!

The WONDERFUL people who work in the ski school program and customer service should be congratulated!!!
I put my 6 yr old in an afternoon group lesson/kids camp during the school vacation, (yesss off to ski some blacks finally) and just by chance after my 2nd run I see my son outside walking around at the kids camp lodge with an instructor so I swing in to give a kiss and wish good luck. His skis are missing. Gulp. They had been looking for a while, and the group lesson had gone on ahead. Long story short: some other kid had put on my son's skis and because he missed the lesson, the director of the Ski School set up my son with a private lesson (in which he learned an enormous amount and promptly showed off his parallel turns).
THANK YOU STEVE AND MB MCDONALD FOR STEPPING UP. You made my son's day, and I am so grateful for your generosity and decency in handling a potentially awful situation!
