Booked this hotel through the aquarium and it was a great package in total but this particular hotel was not what we expected. The hotel is beautiful and very unique but it's definitely not a kid friendly environment. The pool was not an indoor pool, the shallow end where you enter is outside and the indoor portion is 4+ ft. The pool was full of older adult men who were not swimming or dressed to swim. They were also playing inappropriate rap music through their phones. There were some adult women who came in separately dressed in very revealing swimsuits such as thong bottoms and one woman even took her top completely off and went topless! It doesn't end there, they were also very obviously smoking and rolling a certain type of drug at poolside while in the pool. Hotel employee came and restocked towels and never said a word about it to them. No breakfast options other than Starbucks. Valet parking only. People will complain about kids being loud. Overall not a great experience for our kids and we pretty much stayed in our room unless we were at the aquarium for fear of our kids being introduced to inappropriate language, clothing, music etc. Because it was everywhere! The beds are kind of hard and the bathtub was clogged and would not drain. I'm sure our experience would have been different if we were young party type people but this is not the place for families and I'm genuinely confused why the aquarium would partner with this hotel.

I was not at all impressed with this hotel. On arrival, the entrance was horrible and slow. There was no organization or order. We paid $30 a night for horrible valet service. For such a large hotel it seemed as if they only had Ike 2 or 3 drivers. Along with the valet service, the drop off and pickup was horrible and very crowded. There was a gang of people just hanging out around the entrance. This needs to be better organized. There was two clerks to check people in; that was shockingly fast because there was no line, which had me wondering why was the entrance so crowded? Finding my room was not easy because there was no sign up for room 3426. The hallways were very narrow. The hotel itself wasn't very well maintained and my room smelled like smoke. I didn't even want to use any of the facilities due to the appearance of the hotel. The sofa in my room was dirty, the table was dirty, and the shelf under the TV was dirty. I was going to call to get the room switched but we would have had to go all the way back down...switch rooms then back up (which isn't a pleasant nor easy task). We just wiped everything down, prayed that we didn't catch anything and suffered through it for two nights. We were ready to check out! Forgot to mention that their was no daily house keeping due to covid. We called for the car..no answer. So we left out and headed down. We had to wait about 30min to get the vehicle. This will NOT be a hotel we visit again. I am going to find a way to get my money back or something. There was a couple of pros: the view we had was beautiful and the bathroom was small but nice and loved the shower gel. The clerk Pamela was pleasant. The two valet workers worked hard, but they need help and a better system.

Make sure you don t go on the weed festival. The entire hotel smelled of marijuana. People smoking it in the entrance of the hotel, on hotel property in the smoking section, and all around the entire place. Yes, on the inside as well. Beds were comfy and couldn t hear much noise from the outside given the place is massive. I don t care if anyone smokes as it s not my business but it is my business when we pay over $500 for two nights and every where we go, besides our room, smells of marijuana. Seemed as if the people working new and didn t care as well. Just my opinion.

This hotel is definitely not 4 star and definitely not worth the money. I have definitely stayed better places for less money. Check in was awful, they gave us the wrong information about our room and sent us to the wrong floor. The bathroom didn't look clean, the glass on the shower wasn't clean. The bed wasn't as neat. The comfortable has old dried blood on it. It's as if they didn't even clean or change the bed because it was clearly cover up with a top sheet. My husband and I both check our legs and feet to see if we were cuts, scratches, or bed bug bites. Definitely would not recommend and would not stay here again. Wish we could get a refund. The parking is awful as well.

My experience at this hotel was spectacular!
From the moment I arrived I was treated like a king. I was greeted with a smile from the valet attendees and they were very helpful and patient with me.
Walking into this magnificent place, I was taking away by the beauty of the atrium!
Checking in was quick, the staff was very helpful and more importantly...so professional!
My ride on the glass elevator, up to my room on the 37th floor, will be an unforgettable experience. I thought I was inside a honeycomb...on my way to heaven!
My room was very nice and clean! I had big king size bed, big flat screen tv, mini fridge, microwave, iron with ironing board, nice bathroom with the glass walk-in shower...fully stocked, a safe to put my valuables in and a incredible view of the city.
The bar area, the pool, the shops and lounge areas were all upscale and very nice.
Room service and the food was also great!
This will definitely be my go to spot...when I'm in Atlanta!
Please book your stay here...you will not be disappointed!

This hotel is amazing to look at, has some great views of Atlanta, and the staff is super friendly. Parking is easy but expensive, the shops/restaurants are not close to worth the costs, and you will need to check the room upon arrival to ensure cleanliness. There were a few spots in my room that looked like they had some kind of residue. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and call it cleaner, but its still not a great look. Be mindful this place is huge and they seem to stay very busy.

I stayed two days. The view was nice. I asked for batteries for the remote and was told someone would bring them up....never happened. 3 rooms purchased, only one of those refrigerators worked. To much money spent for 3 rooms, 6 beds and that's ALL we got. I booked my rooms 2 months ago expecting my rooms to be together, of course they were not. Parking should automatically come with the room. $49 a night is ridiculous when the room is already expensive enough for just beds.

Worst customer service ever!!!! This feels like a 2star hotel. No towels at the pool and the staff gives attitude when you ask about it. No room service. Line for coffee 39 people deep. Poor service all around. Not with the money. Stay in Midtown or another hotel if you want good service. Takeout $50 from hotel bar for two veggie burgers. Just awful.
