Always in continuous development and modernization. To be a city airport in all respects, it is also quite large. It is absolutely necessary to build a railway or metro line that connects the airport to the central station. As the crow flies are very few kilometers.
Well organized, elegant and comfortable. Functional.
Small airport and yet it is difficult to find someone to ask for information.
Efficient and well-organized infrastructure, some times it can happen to find some flaws (like cleaning bathrooms) but after all in such crowded places it is to be understood.
The shopping gallery after the baggage check is really remarkable.
A small airport. At least it was a place where all flights are delayed for two hours. Illogical and confusing layout of toilets, food places. By the way, the latter is expensive. Even for airports. The airport is in need of renovation.
I have been to a lot of places, in Italy and in the world but nobody had ever stolen from me the carabiners that were attached to the suitcase. I have never had preconceptions about Naples and Campania. I only give the benefit of the doubt because I don't have the proof and knowing that I was coming to Naples from Malpensa maybe they stole it there. Whoever did it is really a poor thing, I would have given them to you if you had asked for them.
As in all airports, it is always a challenge to understand where the gate is, excellent assistance for disabled travelers.
Nu skif desolation and depression and there was no control
It is a small airport where you can still buy souvenirs and local delicacies. Prices are too high. A small bottle of water will cost you 2.30 euros. Queues at control can be quite long. Not at the moment due to few people travelling for covid restrictions. Parking again is quite expensive. Toilets are usually not well kept. Staff is usually kind and patient.
The airport is not far from the city, but transport is quite expensive - 5 Alibus communication; you can also take a taxi from Garibaldi - 18 for 3 people or 20 for 4 people, so the same as a taxi. Bathrooms at the airport are nicely organized, there are few of them.
Lack of fluidity in baggage control + lack of charging points for owners of smartphones and tablets. Be proactive ...
Naples International Airport (IATA: NAP, ICAO: LIRN) is the international airport serving Naples, ... Summary. Airport type, Public. Operator, GE.S.A.C.. Serves, Naples, Italy ... In 1998 the "Galleria Napoli" opened, a shopping arcade open 365 days a year inside Terminal 1. .... Aeroporto Internazionale di Napoli (in Italian). this airport is very important for local and international passenger
The arrival part of the airport is pretty organized and I did not experienced any problems. Outside the building you have clearly marked path walk to the buss stop and taxi stand. There is a lot of rumors about taxi drivers trying to cheat tourists for the money but that is not the case. You dont really need private transfer. If your hotel is within Naples city the taxi fare is fixed and I did not have problems with taxi drivers not wanting to take passengers because of that. There is always present taxi Supervisior who makes sure that you board the taxi without any problems. If you go ourside Naples city to the province your fare will be around 100 . It is normal because you pay double for taxi driver to return empty . Very natural thing is that as soon as you board the taxi , and your driver does not speak english , you can ask him to call your hotel and whoever picks up the phone there can speak to your driver and set the fare for your travel to the hotel , making sure your are not overpaying . So you really dont need private transfer company because in the end, you will pay more using them. Departure part of the airport is a mess. You hardly have any information in english. You dont really know where is the security check , where is passport control . Well , you follow your gate number only. On first floor you have security check point , then you have relaxing area but dont relax there just go stright to your gates. Then from first floor you go down where you have proper shops for EU travellers with bigger prices , you have smoking area ! ( Yes , you can smoke there without leaving the building ). After long walk , when you are ready to go for your flight , you are surpriced by the fact that you still need passport control. Well , it is situated at the very end of the airport hall . You have 4 officers doing checks but it is very very slow process and of you have no british passport , or e-passport , you are going to stay in a long long line. So you need additional 1 hour to account for to be relaxed and not get frustrated .
A little gem!
An airport that has grown year by year thanks to the virtuous management of Gesac.
The infrastructure is not huge but is able to accommodate more than 10 million passengers a year, the flight network has significantly increased connecting Naples to all European countries and to important and strategic non-European destinations.
The news does not end here, the axis with the future airport of Salerno will give new life to our wonderful territory.
If I could give 0 stars I would. We arrived at the airport only to find out that our flight on Swiss Air was delayed from 9am to 3pm. In the United States customer service would have checked to see if we could be booked on another airline but here they just say we cant help you come back at 10. At 10 they say we can't help you come back at 12. No meal vouchers or anything just stuck in the airport for 8 hours.
Fast checks but accurate, excellent environment. Well done.
Arrival at this airport was normal. Unfortunately the departure made today was not beautiful. Two of the staff were very kind, while three others were unpleasant and stupid
Missed the flight. 8pm on a Sunday it took us 1h to do the last 3km to the airport in a a cab
Clear and orderly airport. Only a few shops and annoying pushy taxi drivers.
Very well equipped and well-organized airport. Belli and fueled internal stores.
like most airports you don't want to be there but i found Naples airport not to bad liked the leather sofas after waiting to get one security ok and for an airport good
Modern and clean airport. Fast security, unlimited free WiFi.
Over the years, managed air traffic has intensified and capodichino continues to update itself to accommodate new routes
Clean and well-kept airport, with comfortable seating. Good quality of service.
ENORMALLY improved since the last time I was there. I took a plane in mid-July and it was a completely different experience from that of years ago in terms of speed, efficiency and comfort. Finally an airport worthy of a big city.
Do not take a cab anywhere! All are ripoff artists. Unfortunately I had to live this myself. Don't believe anything they say. All are liars and will overcharge you.
Airport is far too small for the masses of people. You might think you are at a festival. Also, the tax free is very inconvenient and the fees pure rip off ... A pity for such a beautiful place as Naples. Next time I come by train!
A small but beautiful airport. Efficient service and rational transit. The duty free of authentic and quality local products is a bit poor.
Airport is okay. Very slow checkin long lines at security check. It took us almost 3 hours to get to the departure gate. So rather be there sooner. Little toilets and not exactly clean. Gastronomy is ok.
After two weeks trying everyday to contact lost and found I still wasn t able to talk with them either via telephone or email
A typical airport, I'm a pilot so I spend a lot of time here and there so I'd say that it's decent.
Everything ok just missing the connection to the metro in the city and the high-speed station that will soon be there.
Ryanair flight Naples Treviso FR6828 at 6.30 am on 23/7. After checking in with a priority ticket, they have rightly divided us from the group of normal tickets. At the time of the bus transfer up to the ladder they made us all get on the same bus without distinction. So I wonder .... Why did I buy priority? !! Really incorrect what ever happened in any airport in Europe !!!!
Crowded with passengers
The management does its best to manage a huge passenger flow in a very confined space
Very well-kept, efficient and clean structure. Only the metro connection is missing to be perfect.
Missing only the subway .... I just hope they find it.
Few waiting rooms, poor control by security personnel, you must wait until your flight opens to just stand in line to deliver your luggage.
Very dissapointed about Italy in general. Every other person tries to rip you off. Too many rude incounters to count.... The list goes on. I expected a lot more from this country. I won't be returning to Italy.
Not one toilet seat in the airport. Couldn't be that expensive! !!
Among all the airports that unfortunately are located in the city air is certainly the best! In the last few years it has improved a lot and efforts can be seen and felt! I would have given five stars but as usual the bathrooms inside are dirty and not very cared for!
Easily accessible ... Maybe short-stay parking lots a little expensive.
Impossibile to book the parking online. 3rd World country airport
They don't respect the passengers. Almost all of the staff from shops and maintenance and security don't speak English and are rude.
Avoid the taxis they rip you off. Charge over double the meter reading
The airport itself is well equipped with bars and shops. Only flaw the services! A disaster ... Most out of order ... I had to go around the airport to find one open and it was in pitiful condition.
Over an hour to drop off your suitcase at Eurowings! I've never seen anything like it, extremely chaotic and inefficient!
Absolutely horrible experience. I travel very frequently and this has to be the most disorganized airport I ve ever been in. Waited a half hour in the check in line while the ONLY attendant there decided to take her own break. Not to mention the unfriendliness and lack of cleanliness throughout. Very disappointing.
This was the base for traveling to southern Italy at major Italian airports.
Beautiful, modern, welcoming and full of shops of the best brands, with an eye to the excellence of Campania
Missing staff few pet monitors indicating poor organization
They dont let you wait for the flight at night, everybody needed to wait 4 hours at night while it was raining
Despite being connected to the wifi of the airport I cannot enter the site because it takes too long to reply
Small airport, there is no risk of getting lost. Lack of shops at departure level. I wanted to grab a snack from the vending machine and it didn't work and I couldn't get my change.
The conveyor belt was super dirty to the point of changing the suitcases' color
Airport like an airport, outdated, getting to it by bus is very expensive
Unfortunately I have to say that it is one of the worst airports I have ever had to cross. I do not want to be controversial, however, and it is unthinkable that at Ryanair's check-in with three departing flights there is only one person in charge of checking in and collecting the baggage. I suggest to check and make the service more efficient as it creates discomfort and certainly after a holiday in Naples makes it memorable not for the place but for the queue kilometers that it had to do.
The first airport where they have literally taken the furniture from your living room/den/man cave and FLOODED the departure waiting area with it. I didn't want to leave.
Recently renovated good facilities and excellent links to city centre.
Always the same problem, every time you land you have to wait a lot of time to recover your hold bags ....
The most pointless lounge I have ever seen in my life.
Very good airport, good structure and with attendance with passengers AMEI!
Incompetent staff at most arrogance
1 1/2 hours to leave a suitcase and then run to the Gate and we were more than 2 hours before leaving at the airport but are we kidding ?!
Never again from Naples
