If you like to spend your money and receive no service then this is the place for you. If you are looking to get a herniated disc fixed then this is most definitely not for you. They literally won t look or discuss any of your imaging results with you, but they make damn sure they get paid.

I went to Dr. Walpert to have a 'stimulator' placed in my back & the procedure couldn't have been better. From her office staff to the Piedmont Hospital, I couldn't have been treated better. I love this beautiful lady & the work she did on me. I'm in full recovery.
Had back surgery with Dr.Walpert in 2009. Will be calling for appointment today for new problem. Great doctor who got me back on my feet after terrible back pains. Though I haven't needed her in the past 11 years I have steadily recommended her to anyone I know of who has had back/spinal problems.
I'm generally very skeptical of the medical field and try to avoid going to the doctor... but I was having such bad nerve pain I was forced to go here to try and solve my health issue. As a result of a couple of appointments, xrays and an MRI I had a Micro Dischechtomy done by Dr. Patel on 1/28/21. I was impressed with Mr. Patel's authenticity and apparent care for his patients. None of my interactions with him were unpleasant and in fact, I think he gave me ample opportunity to ask questions or to back out of the procedure. I got the sense from him that he actually does care about the work he does with his patients, to try and rectify their problems. Since I almost never go to the doctor, I dont know how rare that is? But my understanding is that it is quite rare. Which makes Patel quite unique. Additionally the surgery apparently went wonderfully. I had the surgery just over 1 week ago and I'm feeling better every day and I have a good feeling about the direction of my recovery and the rectification of my health issue.
He is a great Doctor. I was diagnosed with hydrocephalus. He did the surgery and makes sure I am ok. By that I mean I have a nurse when I have issues I talk to her. Thank you Doctor Patil and staff for everything! Sherry Horton
Dr Walpert is currently treating cancer mets to my brain. She s very smart. Easy to talk to. Explains things so you can understand. Her staff is friendly. So glad to have Dr Walpert on my team!
I am in love with Dr. Walpert and her staff. I was in so much pain and immediately felt relief when I woke up from surgery. She is very caring and I wish I had done the surgery years ago. I am so thankful that she was able to work me in. Her staff is amazing as well. I highly recommend Dr. Walpert.
This doctor works at Piedmont Neurosurgery. I made an appt. with them to get treatment for my neck pain and headaches and we drove 40 miles to get there and when I showed up for my appt. they refused to see or treat me just because I had an intermittent dry cough. It was not a frequent or severe cough at all. It didn't matter to them that I was having severe neck pain and headaches and needed treatment nor did it matter that I spent gas money and set aside time to go there. They even called me the day before my appt. to confirm that I would be there and I confirmed. They are heartless and careless without any regard to how much you are suffering and need treatment. I do not recommend wasting your time to make an appt. with them when there are other doctors who actually do care and have a heart.
I had back surgery August of 2020 with Dr. Walpert. She was awesome. She took care of my problem and I felt confident under her care.
My wife's back was very complicated. She had 3 surgeries before and no one could help her. He took her complicated case, handled it with ease. After surgery its been 4 months and she is doing very well. He did an incredible job.
