Emissions and smoke into cab through air con vent, nasty tick and black soot over injector 3 in engine bay, potential fire hazard.
So I have taken the route of using our roadside assistance program to tow our 2018 ldv t60 to sainsbury automotive in dubbo nsw as the above issues stated were presented to both David at LDV customer assistance and sainsbury automotive and was told not to drive the vehicle as it is a potential health hazard and fire risk.
Upon arrival at the dealership, we were advised of approximately a 6-8 week wait for the car to be assessed, diagnosed and a tech case to be launched to see if it is indeed a warrantable issue.
We have been told that until a tech case is launched, and approval from LDV has been recieved at the service department in question a loan vehicle is ineligible and we are out of a car for upto 2 months.
We have an 18 month old daughter and live in a small rural town with not even a supermarket so we now have no way of 1. Getting to work, 2. Mode of transport to major centre for medical or child services.
3. Obtaining basic living needs for us and our child.
And other necessity s we may need.
We have approached both the dealer and ldv customer assist with no result, David from customer assist at ldv took a phone number and gave me the customer relations email address. Which this has been forwarded to also And sainsbury can t help us get into a vehicle within this time period.
In our opinion we feel neglected. Abandoned and downright disgusted in the way we have been treated.
As a potential health and fire hazard if something were to go wrong and someone die or get severely injured the problem would be rectified ASAP to save brand image. But we feel until something like that occurs we are hung out to dry. Would not recommend any services from either of these companies, no after care from anyone
