A nice gate.from this gate you can reach easier the other parts of the old city.from there you can buy a tickets to walk on the walls of the old city

Jaffa Gate is wonderful. A huge mezuzah is fixed on it.
Occasionally, musicians and musicians sit on his window. The Tower of David has occasional performances and festivals.
It's also nice to just walk around the Tower of David Museum.

It would have been nice if there were at least NO traders or shops in close proximity to the Gate. One loses the historical significance of the place a little with modern commercial shops in one's face, as soon as one enters the gate.

An excellent historical monument of architecture. True, you need to take into account the local flavor when visiting, and therefore it is better to visit all the same in the daytime.

When you are in jaffa gate, you sense that you are in an old city that existed long before you and I were born. You stand in awe of this place. I recommend it for everyone
