Love the food and staff here, always done quickly ...

Good small resteraunt. I liked the mozzarella sticks. Pizza didn't amaze me however.
I got to have their pizza and it was definitely great NY style pizza. Staff was really nice. Will be back on the regular.
Great food with a nice atmosphere. Penne San Lucia was fantastic.
Omg... how rude. I know working at a restaurant is difficult but dam learn how to answer a phone like you want to work there.
My family loves this place and have been there twice though we don't live close to it at all. Each time we experienced great service and the food was exceptional. Had their Pumpkin Cheesecake and I wanted more but my wife stopped me. Gave it 4 stars only because their menu is pricey to me, but I guess it is the way most Italian restaurants are. Wish I had photos of the food. Next time we go, I will capture the spread.
Friendly and casual, great place to go with friends after the movies. A few veggie options. Good stromboli and desserts.
Cashier claimed too the waitress that my boyfriend and I were stoned! I couldn't believe I heard her say that while she didn't think I could hear her! To make it even better the Cashier told her to go smell us!
One of the best slices I've had here in Raleigh. Basic pizza but it has fluffy crusy and a good taste. Great ambiance too. Low lighting littered with wine bottles, funny Italian statues, and (admittedly fake) grape vines. Great place for an inexpensive date with someone who is easily impressed.
Late Saturday lunch.... Great service, damn good sauce, and my kid loved the . Will come back again!
Food was ok, yet I ordered the pasta and the sauce was runny....could just be me but I thought most Italian restaurant have thick sauce but other than that it was also a bit pricey for the food, would I suggest it to someone not from around here (probably not).
Two words... Garlic Knots! Okay, and that was just for starters. this has some of the best eggplant parmesan in town. And the shrimp Diavalo is also amazing. I always enjoy eating here
Their food is good for a glorified pizzaria.
I would recommend trying during a slower time so the staff can keep up.
I enjoyed pizza and pasta, and it was what I expected, not much fancy here, but solid good food.
My favorite Italian restaurant! The gnocchi with vodka sauce is my favorite, but everything from chicken Marsala to eggplant dishes are just like my family's homemade recipes. Plus they deliver so you can enjoy their comfort foods on your couch:)
Food was awesome. First time here, BIG portions, enough to take for another days meal. .. eat here you won't regret it
Amazing food! My husband and I just finished trying the mozzarella salad, garlic knots, gnocchi, and eggplant Rollatini with pasta and we absolutely loved everything! We're looking forward to becoming regulars!
I have wanted to try this restaurant for a long time. Today was my day! I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana with pasta a salad and garlic knots. First bite was delicious. After a couple more bites it lacked some additional seasoning. Like that ingredient would have set it apart. The portion size is huge. It will be lunch tomorrow as well. The dish was not bad it just didn't surprise my palate. Delivery was quick. I'd order again.
A classic Italian restaurant. Great food. Casual dining. Good for take out.
Great place to get good Italian food and a very friendly staff. Pizza is the best I have had down south
Great pizza, family friendly, comfortable booths, real friendly folks.
Our annual BOGO coupon visit, turns out that it was also half-price wine night! Entrees are always good here, but it's pricey if you don't have a coupon. Garlic knots are covered with garlic!
Assaggio's has the best spaghetti and meat sauce in town, in my opinion. The service is usually great; tonight they were very busy and a bit overwhelmed. I like the wine list, too.
I had some delicious Lasagna & garlic knots. Service was fast & friendly.
Food is good. It's not inexpensive. You'll probably leave with enough for leftovers the next day.
Firts time here and we were a large party of 16 (with resrvation made few hours before) on a Saturday night; they accomodated us very well. The food was very good as well as the service.
Good ambience! Very big pasta dishes:
I will come back.
First time going there. Very nice place. We were early so the place was quite empty, waitress greeted us quickly and slightly reserved (not cheerful, but politely). The first table was not very clean. We ordered pizza, and I'll say it was very good.
Very tasty food. The go to for food and friendly staff.
We eat there every few weeks and it is always delicious and reasonably priced. Tuesday is 1/2 price bottle wine.
FANTASTIC food! I had the manicotti this past visit, but I've had their pizza several times and have always been blown away with the quality. The staff are pretty great too. Only missing one star because the restaurant itself could have been a little cleaner.
Vegetables in stromboli were raw and cold, cheap frozen mozz sticks, dry flavorless chicken in the 12 dollar chicken parmesan sub... Dessert was the best thing, and we were missing a cannoli. With the expensive items on the menu, we thought maybe the food would be better than average. Overall disappointed.
One of the best pizza joints I been to in a while. Cannolis were bomb.
Food is excellent, staff is friendly and polite, AND they deliver!
Enjoyable Italian grub. Been going there for about 20 years. It is on my top 5 Italian restaurants in Raleigh.
Calzone was very good but the sauce to go with it was very tomato tasting, needed some sugar and spices to mellow it out. Almost like eating pureed tomatoes out of the can. Atmosphere was very nice, Service was good.
Decent food but rude staff. They always say 20 minutes on take out but typically take 30-35 and give you an attitude when you ask about it.
Pizza and garlic knots are great. The dough they use is one of the best in town. Pasta is better than any chain italian restaurants and the fast deliver service they have puts them all the way to 5 stars in my book. To top that off the employees are always very nice to us.
Super Italian food. NY style Italian.everything we had [3 different meals] was wonderful!
I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. This is by far my favorite restaraunt in Raleigh. The food is incredible and I recommend it to everyone that I meet. The most authentic Italian dishes and pizza.
I got the chicken parmesan lunch special, I have to honestly say it is the worst one I've had. The chicken was old, and way over cooked and overall very flavourless, The suace was very watery and undercooked.the noodles where served cold as well.
so delicious!!! our first visit. Calzone was awesome-high quality cheese, dough made on site. Salad so fresh and crisp. Great menu. Wonderful staff. We will be back!
Such a great place to take your family or just to go with some friends for a REAL Italian dinner. I usually get the chicken parm dinner, because IMO it s the best in Raleigh.they have prime dinners for really reasonable rates. Not cheap, but not pricey either. Waitresses are wonderful, the woman who stands at the counter could be friendlier but I guess that s why she stands at the take out area. I had there pizza delivered once so I can only tell you that it was just okay. It was delivered an hour later cold and was the wrong size. But the restaurant is amazing.
Good food and reasonable price. The pizza is a bit boring, but the pasta is quite good. They've got pretty good cannoli.
Very friendly staff. Food was excellent. Service was fast and great.
Great food lasagna was awesome garlic knots are wonderful
Staff was super friendly, Everything was delicious except for my daughter s steak & cheese (it was salty). We will be back tho
Loved this spot for tasty takeout in the new normal covid era! We had the lobster ravioli, chicken parm, baked lasagna and Caesar salads and they were all delicious! We will definitely be back!
Assaggio's has really good Italian food. Dimly lit comfortable atmosphere. Good selection of beer and fantastic selection of wine. The food is super delicious. I'm a huge fan of the Gnocchi. The vodka sauce they use in that dish was amazing. It's super cheesy and delicious. The staff is always super amazing and the restaurant is always clean.
Pretty good Italian for the Triangle area, but that's not saying much, as I feel we're a little lacking in our Italian food here. Very large portions for reasonable cost with courteous service in a fun environment (red and white checkered tablecloths make me feel like I've been transported back to NY), but the food is just good, not great or superb. Still worth stopping in occasionally though, a solid 4 of 5 stars.
As for breakfasts, they have all the classics like tasty benedicts and omelettes (go for the Greek one!). I tend to stick to the classic 2-egg breakfast platters, opting for sausage over bacon, white toast, and overeasy eggs to dip the toast in. I'll also go for the country breakfast because I like their sausage gravy and biscuits.
Nice typical Italian restaurant. The wait staff was polite & efficient.
The shrimp marina with spaghetti was very good. Its sauce was savory and the shrimp was cooked right. I would prefer angel hair pasta over spaghetti though. The portion was big. I had no room to try dessert.
If I return to this area, I will stop by to try other dishes.
Ordered a veal parmigiana sub,, paid $12.50 for it wasn't worth $2.50, bread was not good enough ends were burnt and the veal had crispy ends and the size of the sub is ridiculous for $12.50, I need to take these people to New Jersey and show them a real veal parmigiana on a twice the size hoagie bun this place is garbage would not recommend it to anyone, i remember when it first opened the subs were on good bread and were a good size sub don't know what happened but i won't be back.
Great food and service! The garlic knots are some of the best we've ever had.
I love going there for our pizza (Delicious)and their service is very friendly!!!
Very accommodating for a small birthday we had after taking the kids to the launching pad nearby. The pizza here was very good. We will be back here again.
Great food, great staff! Had lunch with a friend and look forward to bringing my family back to enjoy!
I ordered a pizza for delivery. The delivery woman had gray hair. The pizza had a gray hair in it. I figured it was an isolated situation. I went into the restaurant on Millbrook Rd. Another gray haired woman brought the salad to the table. Another gray hair in the salad. When I politely complained the waitress took the gray hair out of the salad and walked away. Needless to say I'll never go there again. Too bad because it's the best Italian food around...when it's hair free.
Great food! We have had chicken parm, egg plant parm and shimp parm so farm. EXCELLENT! And it's right in the neighborhood.
