This is a really late review from when we were there this year in January. We booked this place for its location away from downtown. Overall property is very well placed. We had amazing mountain views from our room. There are also splendid views from the main restaurant and walking trails behind the hotel to explore the area. We loved our little hike to the creek and took lots of pictures there. Room ambience, cleanliness and customer service were as expected from a 4-star.

We wanted to especially thank the house keepers. They found my wife's earring screw and kept it safely on our nightstand. This made a huge difference to us beyond what we can say. Little acts of honesty and professionalism will never go unnoticed!

Peaceful, epic views, apartment like accommodations we re for an an extended stay (home away from home) my only complaints are: no A\C & we didn t figure out how to make the room a comfortable temperature until our last night there so it takes some getting used to how to turn the fan on which way to appointment with windows open in order to sleep comfortably. Also there is no cable on the TV or Netflix or Internet options so you literally just get basic TV options.
But all in all I do recommend it if you re needing to get away from the world and unplug and gather some peace of mind. I am also not a fan of the primary colors painted on the gray building it reminds me of being at school. But I definitely understand the simplicity aspect and I respect that as well.

Went to Aspen for our anniversary and booked a room here. Arriving we met Lance at the front desk who upgraded our room to a large and lovely suite and told us about the property. Amazing was what I thought when I opened the room door. They are located less than 5 minutes of the Aspen Gondola and have a shuttle to take you there and back. The driver Bebo, was so friendly and told us about the area we drove through. The restaurant at the hotel has incredible views & a deck to take pictures of the scenery. We had a breakfast that was more than enough for a day of touring and Karen made sure our food was exactly how we want it. Shout out to Rosa who helped make our stay very special. In fact, she picked us up with a private van within 7 minutes of our call from downtown. The staff is exceptionally professional & friendly. Loved this hotel and will be back. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Ofcourse it's depends on ,, did you make your reservation it in advance,, . I did , so for that price it was huge room. Costumer service is on top. Nice restaurant on the property. I think it will be amazing view from any room ( at winter time ). Windows from floor to the ceiling. Minutes away from ski area. THE ONLY BAD THING is you can't get to your room using your car ( they not allowed it), so if you have bags you need to always ask bellman to help, and it's a big property to walk.

Hidden gem we discovered accidentally on a work trip, nestled gently in the immaculate natural beauty that is Aspen! The 40 acre master planned estate includes a seemingly endless sprawling landscape, sprinkled liberally with Bauhaus/ international style architecture, sculpture and industrial design throughout! From the Buckminster Fuller dome to the marble Anaconda, any artist or aficionado will be blown away!

For the naturalist, hiking paths lead you deep into the forest, across bridges and rivers, and that is in addition to the carefully manicured lawns and paved strolling walkways between buildings on the grounds! We were greeted by a plethora of wildlife including a friendly butterfly, a herd of deer, a duck, magpies and more. Aspen trees abound and fresh mayflowers were in bloom as well.

Fine dining, w/ mountain views and fabulous art again! Eggs Benedict and sweet potatoe hash for breakfast, clam chowder w/flank for lunch, each prepared and paired perfectly. We'll be back soon to thoroughly enjoy all that this resort has to offer when we have more time to enjoy the room and explore!!

I came here with my family. We had 2 rooms and they were absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were very spacious and very practical. They had everything we needed and more! The hotel was totally worth the money and if/when I ever come back I will definitely stay here again. We had the window coverings open all the time and saw many of deer come visit! What a great experience! The kids loved the sledding off the small mountains with the sleds provided by the hotel. I saw the health club when we borrowed the sleds and it was nice and big with plenty machines to work out on. We had breakfast at the hotel as well and it was very good and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful with anything we needed and asked for. I called the front desk one time to check out where we could borrow sleds and the nice lady told me we can borrow it from the hotel, free of charge! I also asked about the gondola and she wasn t sure about the price for a group so she called them for me to find out what the prices are and called me back! I mean can it get better than that?!? Thanks again to all staff for making my experience an amazing one!!

Everything about this resort was amazing! The location, scenery, trails, big rooms, shuttle to downtown, hospitality etc. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there was no air conditioning. It used to get pretty hot during the day in Aspen. The rooms didn't get cool enough at night despite keeping all the windows open. Other than that, I highly recommend this resort. Don't miss the pool. It has spectacular views!
