In the vegetarian menu unfortunately more than a few chicken have, portions (at the prices) were really very small, you definitely should not be hungry. At least then the "vegetarian" court was removed from the bill.

We made an excellent experience at ASK Italian. We were served by Charley and Ash who are both doing a brilliant job. They are friendly, competent and service-oriented. The food was delicious and the price was fine. We will definitely come back.

A totally decent restaurant.

A totally decent restaurant.
Ordered a bolognese, it looked good but the taste was so bland. Could just taste onions and basil. Please chefs, dont be afraid of salting the food. Everything is echoing in here so you can pretty much listen to any conversation... or none if everyone are talking. Polite staff and got my food pretty fast.

It's good food restaurant but some staff are trying hard to serve customers others doesn't do that. One example is a lady was difficult to communicate with and she is so Arrogant and I couldn't see even one smile in her face and she is moving around a lot but doing basically nothing, And Finlay she is in front of our table but busy chatting and explaining to one of her Colleague staff member about her Relationship and that she have boy friend and she can't have Relationship with him and we are simple watching and waiting for her to finish so we can pay and leave the place ..My advice is keep the good staff and remove the inactive one because they are destroying all the very good and hard effort made by the good staff and management as it's unfair for them.

Poor service. Left without having dessert as it didn't arrive and myself and colleagues had been there for an hour and 40 minutes. We were a large group and spent a good deal. Not impressed.

Good service and lovely food. I hadn t realised my voucher for a free starter had actually expired a few days prior but they still honoured it as a goodwill gesture. This was really nice of them as they were under no obligation but didn t want to disappoint. Exactly the outlook attitude that all these casual dining restaurant chains should adopt

At first everything was fine. By the end of dinner, none of the 5 employees came to attend us (in fact they were all eating) and the manager was cleaning and preparing the tables for the next day. We waited 20 minutes until one of them approached by chance (because it happened to go to another place near us) and we asked for the bill. Now, for the tip if the girl came, eating and everything.
To all this we had been offered the dessert menu, which we did not ask because we got tired of waiting.

Very easy location to London paddington station and the restaurant is very nice inside. Nice modern decor with quaint signs about how to speak Italian with your hands. The food was OK. I ordered the calzone which had decent flavor but nothing special. My wife ordered the salmon salad which was pretty bland. The tomato sauce in the calzone could have tasted fresher but it is winter so probably the best possible. The rosemary and sea salt bread was very good with very fresh tasting olive oil on the side.
