I m not even sure where to begin with my review. I ve had nothing but dissatisfaction from this location (Algonquin).
First and foremost, I am a young mom with a family whom has recently rented our new home. We ve seen nothing but great advertisement on** TV with Ashley s furniture, so I thought we d give it a try.
May 2020 we had scheduled a digital appointment with Blake specifically, who btw I thought was a great salesmen until my delivery date came.
Any who, we had** a GOOGLE DUE video chat, showing all furniture that would possibly interest us. After 2 days of thinking and discussing, we decided to make a $5,000 (Not including our separate, additional $1,000 purchase On a coffee table, TV stand and 4 folding chairs) purchase on sectional couches, a chest for our room, a bed plus a king size mattress. We were told he had made sure we would have all pieces, even if he had to pull sections from other warehouses he would make it happen.
Our delivery date was pushed from June 15, to the end of June and then come the day we only got half of our delivery with no heads up. What a dissatisfaction.
We finally received our other half in July.
Due to our horrible experience at the store, we decided to order our additional selections through the online website.
Once delivery came, we received a broken piece for our TV stand. After calling for days**, being put in circles, finally we thought Karen, from The Algonquin store, would be able to fix our issue. She assures us** she will send us the part. Once the part came, it was the wrong piece**. When I called again the man who picked up the phone informed us he couldn t help me and for me to call back the next day. He didn t offer to take my information or help us to the best of his ability. He just flat out said call back tomorrow.
We gave up on calling cause no one called us back after leaving voicemails.
Now it s September 2nd of 2020 and I ve been trying to get ahold of Karen regarding my bed that is falling apart! My $2,000+ bed is incredibly falling apart! I ve called, emailed customer care, left voicemails and got no response. I call at 7 pm (1 hour before close due to my work schedule) and NO ONE ANSWERS.
We are very dissatisfied, I honestly would rather return all of our furniture and not recommend this location.
We are no unhappy with the experience we have been receiving and it s unfortunate to know that Ashley s does not value their customers or take peoples money serious. They are eager to sign you up to finance their furniture, answer all questions during the beginning, and after it s literally a big screw you.
I really do hope I hear back from someone within the next 24-48 hours cause we are paying off over $6,000 in furniture the is falling apart. I m sleeping on my couches instead of my $2,000 king size bed.
