Botched Investigation

I can’t imagine a police department not questioning women’s clothes, shoes, jeans, and bras in a man’s apartment after he was attacked, beaten, and left for dead. Then these two women, Olivia Doss and Cassandra Welch were supposed to be the last people to talk to Brandon Embry and they weren’t investigated. This is the most obviously botched investigations I’ve followed.

The Murder of Brandon Embry

I can’t believe the NC state medical examiner said she couldn’t explain Brandon Embry’s injuries and left it at that. It’s hard to say which is worse, the medical examiner or dishonest detective. No surprise they worked together. Lorie Johnson and Dr. Lauren Scott. Shame. They are an embarrassment.

Asheboro Police Clowns

Asheboro Police Department went from search warrants, collecting weapons into evidence this man was assaulted with, interviewing “Cassandra” to then destroying phone records, destroying evidence, and telling people he died of pneumonia. Or was it the drugs they said they found in his apartment that never existed. A clean toxicology. I listened to the recordings of “Cassandra” and that woman could not have known those details without being there or seeing it on video.
Asheboro cops are not fooling anybody but they look like straight clowns.

Brandon Embry

There was blood everywhere in this man’s bedroom. I couldn’t believe they didn’t do blood spatter analysis or take more into evidence. The police didn’t do much of anything. Definitely looks like a coverup.

Investigate Brandon Embrys murder! His life mattered and his voice for justice needs to be heard. His family deserves answers and so do we the public! This is a call to action for the investigation to be done for Brandon and public safety. Those responsible for his murder need to be held accountable!

Racist.

Racist. Courier Tribune wrote:
“Based on local demographics, Black drivers in the Randolph-Asheboro-Archdale areas were 2.4 times more likely to be stopped than white drivers.

Once stopped, Black drivers were more than twice as likely to be searched than white drivers.”

Trashboro

What a waste of tax payer money. Drug and gang activity out of control. A woman was walking down Fayetteville Ave smoking her pipe for everyone to see in the middle of the day. Drugs everywhere.

Getting away with murder

They have a saying here - if you want to get away with murder do it in Randolph County.
Brandon Embry is a great example of why people say this.

Brandon Embry

How can this case not be investigated? How did it start out as a homicide investigation, then exceptionally cleared, then unfounded?
Do these people working in this police department even know how to conduct an investigation? It doesn’t seem like they know what they are doing or maybe they were involved.

I saw the photos of Brandon Embry

I saw the photos of Brandon Embry. That man was bruised everywhere. Whoever did that to that man is running free. I bet if someone did that to law enforcement’s child they would have the whole department working on it but when its someone else’s child they don’t even try. I’m disgusted on this one.
They wonder why people want to defund the police? This is an example of why.

Justice for Brandon Embry!!

I am absolutely appalled after finding out about Brandon Embry, and how this police force did not do their job! This needs to be reopened ASAP, and only reputable investigators need to be working on it. What a slap in the face to this upstanding Navy veteran who was murdered! Do the right thing!

Justice for Brandon Embry

People should look up the case for Brandon Embry. I can’t believe law enforcement would think anyone would believe he could do THAT to himself. It’s absurd. We demand justice for this man. People of the city of Asheboro should beware of these criminals in uniforms.

Justice For Brandon

Brandon Embry was a navy veteran. He was murdered in Asheboro - assaulted and left to die in his apartment. This police department knows his door key was missing from his key ring but they all claimed no forced entry. Hey dummies - you don’t need to force entry when you take the key. The entire police department is not too smart. Must be why they covered up Brandon Embry’s murder.

Liars. The detectives falsified evidence, created lies about victims, committed evidence tampering. Deceived the state medical examiner in a homicide investigation. How many other cases have they done these things?
This police department needs to investigated. Brandon Embry was murdered! We know it! Asheboro Police Department should be disbanded.

I had a serious mental breakdown one night and the police were sent to assist. The officer was very rational and I believe he spoke from his personal experience. I was convinced to make the right decision and it was the officers handling of the situation that probably kept me from hurting myself. The next day, I saw him at my apartment complex and he returned a friendly acknowledgement when I shouted thanks from my apartment.
This account is all I need to look highly on the division he serves.
I will mention that at this posting I was treated very kindly and courteously by another officer who made me feel at ease.
I will continue to feel at ease concerning the local safety as well.

My child has mental health issues and runs away on a regular basis putting herself in danger. The police departments solution is to " beat her ass " You can't beat mental illness out of anyone. It would be nice if you could beat the stupid out of people. Also she's 11 years old and twice she's been missing over 2 hours and an Amber Alert was never released.

Dear Asheboro Police Department

Dear Asheboro Police Department

I had an unusual and frightening, and potentially dangerous, experience last week. I cannot give many details, but I wanted to publicly thank Officer Perrin for responding promptly to the call. He was pleasant and professional, and diffused a tense situation calmly. He put me at ease and waited patiently until I assured him I was comfortable to leave. Thank you Officer Perrin, and thank you Asheboro Police dept.
