DON'T DO IT, do not call, do not write, do not give them any information.
Stop preying on people who have recently lost a loved one. You're disgusting.
This seems like a very shady business. They called, claiming a deceased family member owed money. They refused to give any information proving how the debt was legitimate or what it was about. Beware of these people that seem to prey on grieving families by making veiled threats of money being owed but not providing any proof of the alleged debt.
I don't know how anyone who works for this "company" can sleep at night. My grandmother lost her husband of several decades in early 2020, and she just found a document relating to AscensionPoint. She was so upset because she thought someone had opened an account in his name with the intent of committing fraud. I'm writing this so you don't fall for it for one second more than you already have. "Employees," karma is real. Really think about that, please and thank you.
Wish I could give this scam company a ZERO. They sent a letter stating my dad had passed away and wanted information in how to contact someone with knowledge of his estate. Fortunately, my dad is ALIVE and WELL. He has no debt either. Horrible to know this scam company is doing this to people that have actually passed away.
Does their best to intimidate and bully grieving people. True example of absolute unfettered greed. They would gladly break your kneecaps for a nickle.
Vile and disgusting. These scammers sent me someone else's mail, which I am actually thankful for. The thought of a grieving individual getting this ghoulish scam letter makes my skin crawl.
Scam company trying to ask about deceased family member s executor of estate.
Block their calls and let family members know not to give them any information.
The people who work here are human garbage. Just block the number, and don't give them personal information.
