My interactions with brokers from Hoff & Leigh was very unprofessional. Holly showed me a property she owned. She would never give firm numbers on the lease rate, and attempted to claim building signage would increase the rental rate (but she didn't know how much). No one charges for building signage. She never responded to me after I said the property wasn't the right space for my business, even though she could have shown me several other properties she represented.

Later on I tried working with Steve Leigh and communication was absolutely horrible. I was simply trying to inquire if any spaces were available in a building he represented. Six weeks later and several emails later, I still don't have an answer.

I ended up contacting Ted Link of Cascade Commercial Properties and he immediately got me in to see the office, got an incredible lease rate negotiated the next day, and signed the lease the following week. No BS like I experienced with Hoff & Leigh.

They have a very nice office. The staff was courteous and professional. It was a little difficult to find the office from the street, but there is plenty of parking, even when the orthopedic office it shares a building with is packed. I would recommend them for any commercial real estate buying or selling.

I am a local Roofing Company who was interested in working with Hoff & Leigh till I had a chance to deal with STEVEN LEIGH. STEVEN LEIGH was rude and used profanity on the phone me. He gave me a lecture about integrate then told me he only has one office space which is the same office I called him to inquire about. This is an obvious lie. I can use the internet and his firm has many office in my price and size range listed online. SO MUCH FOR HIS SPEECH ABOUT INTEGRITY!!!!! Just a lazy sales person.

I thought maybe if I give some indication to know that I am a serious person it would help him calm down, so I asked "Can you email me an application?" His responds was "The application is a YES or NO, do you want it or not" Then 2 mins later he starts talking about the application is 5 pages long. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PERSON!!!!! I am in the service industry and it is just a fact that some people treat you badly when they are paying you money, but I never expected to be treat this way when I am the one paying.

Still, as a small business person I don't have a lot of time and I really needed to get an office space so I agreed to meet him the following day, but I committed to keep looking up until the appointment because I believe in being a responsible consumer by rewarding good business with my patronage. I did find another firm who could help me. Who is kind and patient when listing. SO GLAD I DID NOT CHOOSE HOFF & LEIGH.

I called Steve the next morning to cancel our appointment. I left a brief message stating that I am canceling the meeting and I felt disrespect the day before. He call me back and said "Sorry you felt disrespected". I call him out on this too. I said " Steve and I am salesman and I never use profanity in front of a potential client even if they are using it them selves." STEVEN LEIGH IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL or at least he was not the day I dealt with him. Then on top of it all he hung up on me. I texted him telling him I would write this review and I would use his name specifically. About 5 mins later he called me back and said "I thought you hung up on me, must have been a bad connection." This is yet another lie. The connection was crystal clear and he said before hanging up.

I will file a complaint with BBB. I would like to hear what he has to say, If he responds at all. I will be cutting and pasting the review every were I can. I have never reviewed a business before, good or bad, but this is just how bad this guy is and I am sure his attitude has spread through out the entire company. DO NOT REWARD THIS FIRM WITH YOUR BUSINESS.

Holly and Team at Hoff & Leigh were very responsive to our specific timeline and knew our industry well, allowing an efficient use of our time and finding us a building we are very pleased with. We would highly recommend them and will use them again for our future real estate needs.

The best commercial real estate brokerage in Colorado Springs! If you own a business or you own commercial property - you should give them a call to make sure you are getting the best return for your money.

Chris Meyers (broker) has been singularly helpful to me in my looking into retailing. He is personalble, knowledgeable and helpful above and beyond the call of duty -- although I am not taking a retail space now, he, nevertheless gave me great advice and some other things to research to help me out -- taking time out of his evening when this was not required -- but greatly appreciated. :-) -- Karen Peace
