I watched an amazing Show the vibe was great and arts cafe nice

Brutalistic looking building , typically old school south african. The productions that are shown here are always top class and professionally done. If you are a photographer , be warned the security here are very heavy handed and for some strange reason wont allow you to take photos anywhere on the property. I was extremely agitated because of this stupid rule.

Great venue, provides space for not only big theatre shows but smaller productions too.

It's always a wonderful experience to attend any show at this iconic theater.

Great place have been their quite a few times to watch play's very clean quite grand but i feel their bars could be better.

Watched Rigoletto the Opera. Great setting, great cast. Sushi special made it fantastic!

Friendly people food delicious and the most beautiful guest house

Always a pleasure to visit the cultural centre of Cape Town, took my 3 Granddaughter's (7, 8 and 10) to their first live ballet performance and and I'm sure we've made some new converts, they were blown away. Thank you Cape Town Ballet.

1. The place is beautiful, decor is all beautiful carpets, pairing and chandeliers. 2. A lot of parking, parking under the building at R24 all day, outside and surrounding.
3. Very organized, there are snack and drinks stations, a number of entrances and exits for a large crowd
4. Bathrooms are neat and enough for a crowd
5. There are lifts and staircases
6. Hosts shows for all young and matured

I place is just amazing, the last time I've been there was in Primary School

Great location and beautiful theatres. I took 1 star off for the appalling price of snacks and drinks during interval. The tickets for the show are expensive enough without charging R30 for a tiny cube of cake! It is a complete rip off!

Attended a Brimstone / Life Heart and Stroke Dialogue. Was extremely informative and the professional panel provided some life saving tips.

The venue itself was very fascinating

Overdue renovations in progress to upgrade the facilities. The restaurant closed very early, disappointing as couldnt get a bite to eat after.

A beautiful theatre that shows all the big productions. Plenty of parking. The bar tenders are really friendly. You can also buy merchandise and snacks at most shows.

My sister's, my mom, my nieces and I treated ourselves to watching Dirty Dancing on 29 January. There were 7 of us in total and as we got to the venue we realised that we had gotten the time wrong and the show had just started. The sister with the tickets was still 30 minutes away so we couldn't prove that we, indeed, had tickets for the show. But without hesitation and simply giving them our seat numbers we were escorted in and able to catch most of the show. I haven't received such good service in a long time and would like to express my thanks to the helpful ladies who didn't think twice about allowing 6 frantic, 'ticketless' women into a show which had already started and doing it with a smile. Many thanks to you.

Saw the final performance of Zip Zap Circus training school with the Parlotones. What a delightful experience!

Went to watch Stomp. What a fantastic production. The Artscape theater is always the perfect venue with ample parking and refreshments to cover everyone's needs.

Watched a production there and thoroughly enjoyed it. Parking was a pleasure, seating clearly marked and overall service and help was excellent.
