The staff at this location are great and friendly ...

The staff at this location are great and friendly people who truly do their best. The company however puts unnecessary stipulations on what they can and cannot do. They charge extra for almost everything. Its overpriced and you might think you're bringing home a $100-150 bill when really it turns into $300 at times.
No thanks. I got a roku and switched to sling instead.

Can't stand them.They try to get you to fix the problems your having with your phone or internet or tv by telling you how to fix it over the phone. THATS what I pay them for....morons.are they paying me for the hour I spent trying to fix their faulty equipment.Thats unheard of.....Then I watch tv.All my bites are used up so I have to pay 15 dollars more.Then tv runs out of bites and they bill me again. 15 and again over and over.Crazy Get the heck away from them rip offs.They keep raising their rates every 3 months.Sick of it .!!! Totally done with them.Careful of all the hidden charges and protect your credit scores

Consistently one of the worst internet companies I've ever dealt with. On hold endlessly and the internet service drops out daily, sometimes even multiple times. Did people really give this place anything higher than 2 stars? How?

Run as quick as you can to Direct Tv. I had this company for 15+ years and use to love them until they started dipping into the internet and phone services. Their equipment is always breaking and they are constantly canceling Sat. appointments and sticking you with no services the whole weekend and not crediting the bill for your inconvenience. As of today my internet and phone modem has gone offline 9xs in two days and they canceled the service appointment. They don't deserve a rating at all but I have to give them a "star" to be able to post this. Total waste of money unless you like paying for something you can't use. I'm switching away from them ASAP!!!

I am extremely disappointed in Armstrong. First of all, they do not offer a price cut or discount for any man or woman that is or has served our country. Secondly, they do not offer a discount for our senior citizens. Thirdly, they offer nothing for a valued customer of over 40 years since the 60s or 70s and I believe Armstrong came to Butler, Pa in 1963. I might have the wrong year. My question is, What will Armstrong offer our seniors, veterans, or long time loyal customers? Are you going to take care of your customers or are you going to cheat them out of money?

Guardian Protection, a subsidiary company, is worthless.

Bought a new home just over two years ago August of 2015. Made the mistake of purchasing almost $12,000 worth of services and equipment from this company. We feel like we were sold a P.O.S. (Piece of S**t) for the audio system.

We have had non-stop problems with the audio system that was installed. We don't use it on a daily basis, and weekends and nights are the time that we would like to use it, but classically, that is when we would try, and it would not work. It has been infrequently, but consistently a problem since the system was installed.

Had them out multiple, multiple times during the first year. It never would work right, when we wanted it to work. Over the course of the last few months of the first year, they wound up replacing every single component of the system. They said they stand behind their stuff, and extended the 1 year warranty another year.

Just like before, every time we went to connect, we would have problems. Was on the phone with tech support, they would have us go through steps, it would start working again, and then soon after, not work.

Candidly speaking, they wore us down. We eventually just gave up trying to use the system we spent thousands on.

Then with Christmas coming up, I started thinking about it, and got ticked that the system did not work. I called them back up and said "lets try this again".

Now here is where they really disappoint. They could not get it to work over the phone, so they say they have to send a tech out. And they are going to charge me for any and everything. I raise concerns, to three different people. They offer a meager partial credit against the service call, that, and a few insincere apologies. I finally just told them, send the person out.

Tech arrives today, at what I understand to be a +$200 per hour rate, nice guy, spends about 1.5 hours trying to get it to work. He identifies that the set up the way it was done, is not what the LeGrande Manufacturer recommends, as they want the unit directly wired into the house router, and they had previously installed a switch. So I work with him to get this wired properly. Two years, countless techs, and now they see this as not proper?

He then determines that the distribution module, that was already replaced once, if not twice before, is not working properly. And guess what, he does not have a replacement on his truck. Not only that, but I have to sign paperwork to order a new one, but he is not privy to what the costs are, so can't tell me what they are looking to gouge me for.

I feel so duped by this company. They sold this POS to us, and it has never consistently worked properly. So then I ask the tech, do they still sell the same systems to people today, and wait for it........... Yup, same systems being pawned off on unsuspecting customers. Way to go.

So ticked off right now. Asked the tech to have a supervisor call me, I doubt that will happen.

I am going to make sure that on every review site I can, that people are able to see how they take advantage and wear down their customers.

Customer for 16 years!!! Treated with such utter disrespect and a Blaten disregard for the service issue I had! Gabriel in the Technical department should be proud!! that after the many years I had Armstrong( even through all the issues) I AM DONE!

Absolutely abysmal. They call it customer service but I would call it anything but. Constant outages and slow internet streaming. Rates have more than doubled in one year but there is light at the end of the tunnel-competition is coming hard and fast so this regional carrier is going to start taking some lumps and maybe they will limp back to Butler, PA!!

I have had 3 technicians at my house within a month and was told that I would receive a credit on my bill!!!! I received nothing and my problems are still not fixed! Just spent another 40 minutes on the phone and accomplished NOTHING!!!

$211 a month to watch tv and internet. I'm calling around so if you need get ahold of them good luck wait 7 hours on the phone. I would think for what they charge someone could pick up the phone.

Armstrong has no competition in Butler country, so...

Armstrong has no competition in Butler country, so they are not incentivised to work on our issue. We recently moved into the area and it has been a bit frustrating as my wife works from home full-time. So far we have had one week without service and the latest update we will be AT LEAST one more week without service.

I would have called another provider if I could.

I'm not sure why all of the bad reviews, but I have been with Armstrong for years and years.. I have never had any problems that were not resolved within a day or so.. They are always super quick to respond, sometimes that same day.. I understand about the complaints about the price, but that is not just Armstrong, its CABLE. It think a lot of these people have never had to deal with a different cable company.. Try dealing with Comcast or Verizon and you will be giving Armstrong a 5 star review...

A special box for every TV! Wow! You once had a huge advantage over the satellite companies because you didn't need a box and they did. You screwed that up. Very little channels for way too much money. I'll never go back to Armstrong.
